This place is AWFUL, has the worst customer service, and honestly is a little sketchy. After placing a custom order for a company project, we requested an invoice and W9 so we could immediately cut a check to pay them. As this was a business related order, any new vendors we work with must provide a W9 or at the very least, a Federal Tax ID. I have never in my life experienced the response I received from John Casey. He snapped at me on the phone, told me he didn’t have time for these kind of requests, interrupted everything I said, refused to provide an invoice, and was downright inappropriate. He finally agreed on the phone and sent an invoice via email(in a random file format that wouldn’t actually open). When I followed up over the phone about a different invoice file format, he snapped at me without listening to what I was even asking. Once I clarified and mentioned that at the very least we needed a Federal Tax ID, he told me he refused to send it. My main complaint is that I have never had anyone speak to me on the phone the way this man did. How can you work in a field that requires customer service yet yell at all of your customers? He yelled at my co-worker as well. We work with various vendors and no one has ever had a problem providing a W-9 or Federal Tax ID. I think it’s a huge red flag that this man immediately put up his defenses about this request. Makes you question whether this is a legitimate business or if there isn’t something else going on on the side.

Custom Stamps and Comedy This tiny little stamp shop located in the East Village is packed from top to bottom with custom stamps and booklets of stamp prints they can make for you. My friend decided on a stamp of the brooklyn bridge from the book and the stamp master went to work. He is an old irish lad who i think is the owner was arguing with his helper it was hysterical. The one annoying thing is they will tell you 30 minutes for a custom stamp every time you want one but it is more like 1hr-1.5hrs. This place gets 5 stars for uniqueness, character, and just a cool shop.

This place is the best. I drew my wedding invitation and had John at Casey Rubber Stamps turn it into a rubber stamp. The stamp itself is very high quality. John even photoshopped by design a bit to make sure my hand-drawn invitation looked a bit less sloppy :) I love this place. Also, my stamp was ready in two days. Pretty awesome.

Terrible customer service and communication. Confirmed an email that asked if I would like my stamp Monday evening. Upon calling Monday evening to make sure it was ready, the owner claimed he had«No time» because«he had 67 other UN-answered emails and was too busy for my stamp.» I cancelled the order. I hope he was half way through and now has to eat the $ 75 I would have paid to have it when it was supposed to be done.

It was pretty clear to me that the owner and his employee didn’t want to do business at all when I entered this shop. A friend of mine placed a custom design order and was told it would be ready in a couple days. When she went to pick it up, she was told the order wasn’t ready because the mold got distorted during the process and ruined her mold. She needed it for an urgent project and was never informed that they needed more time. If something needed to be redone and would only take up to 2 hours, honestly 1 of 2 things should’ve happened; inform the customer that it isn’t ready or they need more time, or since it takes so little time in a 8-hour period is to make it again. Neither was done and my friend had to leave very disappointed on top of the fact that she was cursed off by the employee for being disappointed. Just to be clear, my friend never said a rude word to him. To add insult to injury, the employee threatened my friend to return or he would not make the stamp.(We’re talking about the younger guy with glasses who isn’t the owner.) Being the good friend that I am, I went in her place to pick up the stamp the next day. Knowing how rude the employee was, I could already tell he didn’t do anything to fix it and probably didn’t make the stamp. He proved me SORIGHT and beyond that it’s just sadly laughable at this point. He not only had trouble finding the order, he DIDN’T RUNTHEMOLD after threatening my friend. To top it off, I hinted to him that he was the only one that did any threatening to my friend and he claimed he was the one that was threatened. Great for doing business, I advise anyone to never deal with this place at all. All this was happening while the owner sat behind him in the shop ASLEEP. Clearly pretending and not interested in doing anything to fix it either. By the way, for the small stamp my friend wanted, it would’ve been a grand total of $ 35. Instead, my friend found an online service that did it for less and delivered in 2 days. If you’re ok with waiting 2 days for excellent service and willing to pay less, go elsewhere than here.

Walk down the steps of this tiny, mom and pop stamp store and find shelves just cluttered with original, funky rubber stamps and see, who I assume is the owner of the store, sitting in the back working on more unique stamps. Ugh, amazing. As a stamper and crafter, this places makes me really excited. You could just walk by it because it’s tiny and sort of miss-able, but it is not to be missed. Especially exciting is that he advertises that he can make any custom stamp that you may imagine. I haven’t thought of my must-have stamp yet, but the prospect is pretty exciting.

Look no further, he’s got it all. And if he doesn’t, he’ll make it! As a consummate letter writer I’m thrilled this place is in business.

Don’t be fooled by the«lo-fi» website — Casey Rubber Stamps offers a fantastic, responsive service. I called about a custom stamp with lots of questions and they were kind and patient. Then, they turned around the order in a day. The stamps aren’t finished until after 6:30 pm the day they’re done, but that wasn’t a problem at all. My stamp turned out great, and they were very communicative and clear throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend!

What’s not to love? Looking for a fantastic selection of unique stamps right here in NYC? This is the place. Super friendly and informative staff too. Rob helped me out of a bind by getting my custom design printed and ready within 10 hours. Unreal. Places like this make NYC great. Support them.

I walked into this place surrounded by such an array of rubber stamps I literally screamed like a little girl. I emailed the guys my files and got my custom stamps in three days time! On top of it all, their pricing is extremely reasonable I’ve got nothing but good things to say about them. The guys in here are magic– super friendly and helpful, cannot wait to come back and get more stamps made :)

One of those only-in-New York gems. The store is a claustrophobic room that smells of glue, rubber, and wood. Shelves packed with stamps of various sizes line both of the walls, and if something is sold out, they will make one for you on the spot. The blonde girl who works there is very cute and friendly. I will definitely have some stuff custom made here in the future.

Place is very cool. Casey is very nice. Stamps look good. But there needs to be more updated designs. I could custom my own design, but that would cost more than buying a regular stamp. I tried to look through the catalog of stamps, but needed something more modern and sleek for a project I was working on. The type of stamps all seem like they are from the classical era and time period. Really wanted to buy something, but after 30 minutes of browsing at everything, I left empty handed.

Rob is an asshole without a pulse. When I arrived to pick up my stamp at the time he told me to pick it up, it was not ready and he was unwilling to offer any explanation other than he didn’t get to it yet and to come back another day. He appeared very lazy and stoned out of his mind. It’s not worth it. I would give zero stars if it were an option.
