I’ve gone to this Restaurant 3 times for take out and the first time i waited several min for someone to take my order servers dont really understand english well the 2nd time i went with a Pr & Dominican mixed female and i was treated like a King by the staff the last time i went on 2÷10÷13 i waited 30 min for food they ran out of Yellow rice and was told the wait would be 40 min more they forgot my beans the food is not turned over during the day so its always hard and crusty above the gravy line. so i would like to say el cervicio es malo y la comida no es muy buena so i will not be returning

The restaurant has a very family owned feel. Not much matches in regards to the furnishings and the service is relaxed if not slow due to a lack of interest. One person that seems to be in charge I would call her«Mamacita»; all the activity is directed to her, placing orders, answering the phone, directing the waitresses, and running the cash register. I ordered the Mofongo de Cerdo(Pork Mofongo). It took a while but it was worth the wait. Night time might be the best time especially if you are looking for a latin flare.

Very slow service with reheated food and overly loud music.

I think I went to this one? I’m pretty sure it was on Broadway. The food was pretty good — nice and cheap the meal was $ 5, platanos for $ 3. Not a bad deal! The waitress, however, decided to let us thirst to death while flirting with her man friend. 20 minutes later she came over to do her job. I will go back, though.

I’m basing my review on getting multiple deliveries from this Caridad, not for any in-restaurant experiences. I always order white rice and red beans and half a chicken. It is always really delicious. Really affordable and the most reliable quality of spanish food in the neighborhood. The only issue I have with them is that whoever picks up the phone does not speak english very well and this makes really difficult for us non-spanish speakers to order. It often takes me several minutes longer than usual to order and sometimes the order has arrived slightly different than what I thought we agreed on on the phone. But even then the food is delicious. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious spanish food.

Oh Caridad, how I hate you. I am not a fan of this franchise, at all. One of them has slamming chicharrones, but I can never remember which one it is and am therefore always disappointed. Their Cuban sandwiches are not Cuban sandwiches. Bleh.
