Came early in the afternoon with very few customers. Ordered strawberry parfait and it tasted magnificent. Place is smaller than other caffe benes but the service is great.

It’s a super clean place with friendly employees among all the(really good) hole in the walls on Saint Marks. I usually get the macarons and bubble tea. I love the flavors of the macarons, and the bubbles in the bubble tea have the chewy texture that I like. I admittedly haven’t tried that much from here, but they have a huge variety, so basically any kind of café sort of thing you might like(with an Asian twist) — you can get that here. The service is really friendly, and the owner is the nicest person! Living in NYC, I don’t expect service in cafes to be good… it just has to not be rude for me to be happy, so actually getting warmth and friendliness is really nice. The service is also quick which is a bonus. I imagine it’d be nice to do work here, but since my laptop has water damage and can’t hold a charge anymore, it’s just too much hassle to drag my charger over and find a place to plug it in. I just stick to doing Seamless pickup orders or occasionally stopping in to get bubble tea. Great addition to Saint Marks(and as a student especially, it’s nice having a Starbucks sort of place without actually having to go to Starbucks; the Starbucks by campus is overcrowded and stressful).

I always get the«Banana and Whipped Cream Waffle.» I prefer it over the Waffles & Dinges truck, and it’s not as crowded as Spot Dessert. The drinks are mediocre and a bit over priced. The only thing I would recommend is the deserts. This is a good place to relax for a bit and gather yourself if you’re having a night out in Saint Marks. Atmosphere is similar to Starbucks. Side note: The bathroom is impeccably clean by St Marks standards. Seriously impressed. Haha!

We stopped by after dinner because we wanted to take a snack home. The only immediately ready to take out items were their waffles, but they looked good nonetheless so we took a chocolate walnut one. I also had a mango bubble tea. The toasts that people were eating inside the establishment looked really great, but we were already stuffed from dinner. My mango bubble tea was tasty, but it is hard to compete with the other bubble tea places next door in St. Mark’s. The waffle tasted great the next morning.

Ordered their strawberry latte. Paid close to $ 6 for a large. When it was ready, they called out«strawberry milk tea» and I already knew it was bad news. If they didn’t have strawberry latte like I ordered, they should have told me so instead of giving me strawberry milk tea. I would never intentionally order anything made from artificial color and flavorings. This looked nothing like the strawberry latte that I had at another caffe Bene in pal park nj. The real one should come with puréed strawberries. This one was only made with very artificial tasting powder. Very disappointed. Shouldn’t be charging $ 6 for a $ 3 artificial drink. The aftertaste is horrendous. The tables are also packed and the seats are touching the backs of other seats making it very hard to get through. I will not be back.

There is just so much to say. This is, by far, my very favorite Caffe Bene location, period. The owner is so kind and really cares about his customers. The café is super clean with plenty of seating room. This is a great café to study for a few hours, thanks to the comfortable chairs, ample plugs, and free(fast!) wifi. The bathroom is super modern and clean as well — infinitely better than the bathroom at the 14th street location. The drinks are really good here, and I find the sandwiches at this location to be better than those at the other NYC locations. I’m always happy to spend an afternoon studying here!

Love this place! The mochas are delicious and indulgent. I love the tiny tiny cakes — perfect for when I have a sweet tooth but don’t want to splurge on a whole dessert. The staff are friendly and they usually have open tables when I go.

Monday, January 25th2016. 2:41PM. I’ve personally never been to this chain prior to today, but I’ve seen locations in Flushing so I was a bit interested. Upon entering, it was quite empty, so my order was taken and filled quickly. I got a green tea latte and it was pretty average. The matcha was strong, which I liked. There were also a lot of really good looking things like waffles, honey toast, macarons, and a bunch of other really cute pastries. By the entrance, there are plenty of high stools facing a large window(good light). There are plentyyy of seats in the front and back at this location. There are also a ton of wall plugs. However, the wifi wasn’t working well. My only real complaint is that my latte was a bit expensive. It was a small sized latte, and I’m pretty sure it’s smaller than Starbucks. However, it was priced at $ 4.70! I’m not really sure if this is supposed to be considered moderate or what, but I really was not expecting to hand over a $ 5 bill for a tiny latte. Oh well, it was good. Come here if: You like café ambience, high stools or in general seating, large selection of pastries and drinks, cute décor, and good lighting. Don’t come here if: You need fast + speedy wifi or looking for a cheap drink or filling snack.

LATTÉORSTEAMIN A CUP? I ordered the Gingerbread latté and long story short, It was an utter disgrace. It didn’t even taste like coffee, it was so bland like there was just hot water and whipped cream. 2 Stars for the atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend the Lattes here though.

Prime location along St Marks for a new Caffe Bene to grab some snacks or caffeine as you waltz along St. Marks, with friendly staffers and standard fare. Really sketchy reviews up ’til now(their 4th when posted)…

Probably the best chai tea latte I’ve ever had. Also the portobello mushroom sandwich is AMAZING. Cute place, very cozy. Great Service too!

Grand opening day and the friendly staff seems like they have been doing this for years. Welcoming, attentive and patient as they waited a minute as I scoured their extensive menu of delicious treats and beverages. Interior is as comfortable and welcoming as their staff. Great place for a late night pitstop or to chill on a lazy Sunday morning. Great addition to the St. Marks establishments!
