Solid offering, decent bite and price… There’s also ample space to grab a chair and eat. The staff is good too. I think this is a really great spot in the Upper West Side.

Stopped in for a few quick and yummy slices with the fam after a day at the NHM. MAJOR thanks to the wonderful staff who found my wallet and kept it safely for me!

Inexpensive and the food is tasty! I always order take-out from them. You can’t go wrong with the chicken parm hero.

Rock solid traditional NY pizza here. It’s not fancy but the pizza tastes good so who cares. Go to Patsy’s if you want fancy. Big plus: free drinks for kids. Staff is attentive and cool. Most UWS locals will tell you this is the best spot in the area.

We stayed in their neighborhood. Very efficient at taking our orders and preparing the food. Friendly and helpful when we had questions. Pizza was very good. Garlic Knotts had way to much garlic for our taste and preference. Would eat here again.

Solid delivery pizza. Always a quick turnaround. I order it often. Only other pizza on the UWS worth it’s weight is Patsy’s.

Our party had mixed reviews all around for this place, but I personally liked it alright, so three stars it is! The pizza here was pretty salty, but the type of salty that you want a greasy, unhealthy slice of pizza to be. The garlic knots left much to be desired. Personally, I thought they were a bit too dense and ours were flirting with burnt. They are however dirt cheap, so it’s hard to pass them up. Delivery was fast and pizza was still quite hot – definitely a big plus!

We tried this place by accident. and omg. i am in love. I don’t get to the upper west side much, but i plan on going back here. we ordered the cheese pizza, baked ziti, a garlic knot, drinks, and it came with a salad. and the total bill was under 20 bucks. the slices of pizza(we got 2) were enormous, and the cheese was hot and fresh. it was superb. the baked ziti was so good made with ricotta, mozzarella, and sauce and baked til bubbly and hot. there was so much food we took almost all the ziti home. This place is so reasonably priced and the food’s pretty amazing. i highly recommend it if you are on the UWS.

I’ve lived in upper west for a few years but my brother is the one who discovered this place while he was visiting from California. I’m a regular now thanks to my brother. If you like a hole in the wall place that serves tasty, crispy and thin pizza, then this place is for you! Ive tried many pizza joints all around the city including highly recommended ones and I still think this place ranks high on my list. The white slice is my fav!

Overpriced(slices – full pies were more reasonably priced), but excellent pizza. A traditional, chewy crust and dough; a sweet tomato sauce; fresh ingredients; and extra large slices. Will be back to check out their other dishes.

I’ve gotten delivery from this place and walked in once for a slice of pizza. It’s palatable. Their delivery is like lightning fast. Stick to the pastas and pizza and not anything baked(like baked ziti, eggplant parm or baked stuffed shells). This is very picky of me but it’s not quite *baked* enough(lol). It doesn’t get all brown and bubbly, and the mozzarella is just mushy and blech. But stuck to simple stuff and I’m happy.

Had a slice of the mushroom pizza. It was $ 4, which is a lot, but it was good. Probably needed to be a little bit hotter.

Came in for a quick slice while in the neighborhood. There were plenty of people there and the slice selections are plentiful and seem fresh. Staff is quick and efficient but not standout friendly to the many foreign customers I saw coming through. Pizza itself was underwhelming. The crust wasn’t tough enough or thin enough, leaving it quite heavy and soggy, not a city pizza plus. They also didn’t heat the slice up enough so it was really just warmed through and not piping hot and crispy which I expect. So many pizza places in NYC that are just as good and average as this one. I may give it another chance when I’m back in this hood.

When a native describes NYC pizza to those outside the city this is the beautiful result. A crisp crust, slightly doughy under the weight of the sauce. Melty, golden baked cheese with one quintessential characteristic: when you fold the slice in half, the pizza doesn’t go limp. It stays perfectly in place with each bite. Specialty pizza’s, Sicilian, by the slice, 9″ personals or ginormous pies with tons of toppings and quick, no-nonsense service. They deliver too. And the best part — They are cheap! Ceasar’s has always been my go-to for UWS pizza.

For delivering my meal within 20 minutes at 11pm on a Sunday, this place deserves a five star. The pasta is delicious and the portion is huge!

Pretty affordable food. Great portions. Came with a large group(4 adults, 2 kids) total was $ 60. 4 entrees, a childrens plate, salad & drinks. A no frills place but clean. Had plenty of space for our group. Would definitely return & recommend for a quick tasty affordable food. I loved my burger, and the garlic & oil pasta was very nice & garlicky. Greek salad had tasty stuffed grape leaves.

My go to for pizza on the UWS. Great specialty slices and even the plain cheese is perfect. Reco grabbing some slices and have them heated up. Nice staff and great quality.

This is a perfect place to bring your kids for a quick bite. When I walked in here last weekend, there was a group a little ones celebrating a birthday and it was so dang cute! Their slices are large and the sauce is a little on the sweeter side, if that’s your preference. They’re also very generous with their cheese portioning. Mine was as gooey as ever a slice will get. All-in-all, a very decent slice of pizza. The ambiance is casual and a little dated but I think that’s what adds to its charm. It’s old school; quintessential New York.

It used to be the place where you can grab a pizza and beer for seven bucks. The pizza slices used to be larger and flavorful. The burgers used to be a best kept secret. Some things shouldn’t change. But they do. The prices rise. The portions were cut back. They don’t really stand out anymore. It’s now the place to go to if you really have to. Sad.
