Meh. I only come here for the drink specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The $ 1 bubble milk tea is just okay. There is not much tea flavor, there is a lack of milk, and the bubbles are not the best. But what can you expect for a dollar. I’ve also tried their flavored teas and the drinks are okay. If you want cheap mediocre bubble tea on a Tuesday or Thursday, stop by. Otherwise, I would check out other shops in the area.

$ 1 bubble tea on Tuesdays & Thursdays. What’s not to love? The quality is like most typical bubble tea spots. Great spot to satisfy a craving for a cheap price! Best to pair with some cheap food in Chinatown(which is everywhere)~

Is it possible that there’s too many choices? Lol. I have many favorites as far as flavors go, as I frequent bubble tea houses often, but they are not as consistent as their neighbor two doors away. On this visit I ordered the Oreo shake. It was delicious until you drank all the liquid portion and then was stuck with the slushy ice that had not melted down yet. So the only thing to do was to keep stirring and shaking until it melted more. But on the bright side, that meant it was so good I drank it too fast. My son tried the strawberry slush. No bubble tea pearls with his but many people ordered it with. It was as expected so just as pictured and made the way a traditional slush would be. I did buy a snack while there. Ordered the fried basil chicken. Very good and had good seasoning. I’d go back to try the other flavors. And for $ 2.99, well worth it.

Probably my favorite bubble tea spot in Chinatown. The owner is really friendly and gave myself and a group of friends a VIP card(since we were there since it opened). My go to spot and they open the latest out of all the spots in the area. They also have a jumbo size bubble tea you can upgrade to share(or drink all yourself lol). The variety of toppings you can also get is endless– from aloe, rainbow jelly, lychee jelly, pop bubbles, & etc. I recommend any of the bubbly or yogurt series they have available. For snacks, the spicy crispy popcorn chicken is really yummy! The tornado potato is also very good.

$ 0.99 milk bubble tea. Tuesdays & Thursdays 11am-7pm You get what you pay for. Overall the bubble tea wasn’t bad. Nothing special about the tea, and boba was standard(a little more on the firm side). So don’t go looking to be impressed. However great price when ur looking for a quick fix.

Small little establishment. We came in on a Saturday night and there wasn’t anyone else in the store at the time. We ordered two drinks and they were just as expected. I will stop by this place again next time I’m in the area!

My friend had a saying that if a bubble tea place can survive in Chinatown neighborhood, it cannot be bad. So true. We had a group of four, ordered taro bubble tea, melon tea and some fried chicken to share before our brunch. At least I liked my melon tea a lot and chicken was crispy. They did not accept card though.

I went here on a rainy day. I don’t know why I came here but I guess I just wanted to get something. I ordered a taro milk tea, basil popcorn chicken and takoyaki. The taro milk tea was too sweet but it was not watered down. The popcorn chicken is good but don’t order the takoyaki. It’s not worth it and it wasn’t that good.

They have promotion for 99 cent tapioca milk tea on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11AM-7PM. I saw the promotion outside their store, so I went today. It was raining very hard before and a little bit chilly, and then I asked the girl cashier to have less ice in my topioca milk tea, she said ok. The guy cashier behind the girl cashier with nasty attitude complained in cantonese,“It is already this cheap, even want less ice.” The girl cashier hinted him that the customer is still here. The guy cashier was like, so what, i dont care. I am not going to return to this store!!! The End!!! Nasty attitude!

Had the watermelon slush and honey chrysanthemums tea w/aloe The drinks here seemed to be really watered down especially the watermelon slush. The honey chrysanthemum tea w/aloe was actually pretty refreshing and would probably get again

Not the best experience here. We followed some local high school kids who recommended this over nearby Vivi as «more real because it’s local and not a chain». The guy at the counter was friendly and quick but the drinks were disappointing. My guava basil seed drink was served without basil seeds because they were out. Most places would tell you before pouring the drink and ask if you want a different topping? The flavor wasn’t bad, thankfully they went light on sugar as I had asked but I wouldn’t have ordered this as a straight up guava juice. Sesame soy milk bubble tea was an ok milk based drink but the boba were tasteless and too hard. While the variety of options at Bubbly Tea is interesting with tons of hot and cold favors and more toppings than most places offer, I will be heading elsewhere for my next boba fix.

This place was pretty good! I came here with a friend for a quick drink. I ordered the 3 kings bubble tea with tapioca, herb jelly, and pudding. I actually thought the pudding was the best topping out of the three, even though I am usually pretty impartial to tapioca. I felt like the drink I got was more toppings than actual drink, but I didn’t really mind it. The tapiocas were tasty, but not the best I’ve ever had. The tea was decent as well. My friend got the watermelon slush, and while it was pretty simple, it tasted very refreshing. The prices were pretty good as well. Overall, a good spot for boba. Could be better, but not bad by any means.

I went in the store, asked for 2 watermelon juice, not watermelon slush. Girl worker: it’s $ 4. Me: okay. Girl worker: are you sure? Me: what do you mean am I sure? Girl worker: never mind. Once I got back to the office, I saw my cup was around 30% empty. I’m going to say I will not be returning to Bubbly.

I am a self declared boba fanatic! So I always try to get a tapioca drink when I’m on vacation to an unknown land. I was a bit hesitant on getting their milk tea because it appeared too milky based on some of the Unilocal pictures. I like my milk tea with more tea! However, I gave in when I found out they have a special deal on Tuesday & Thursday for their milk tea. Guess how much? 99 cents!!! I got it and loved it! It tasted almost like my local favorite tapioca shop in my hometown. Their chrystuyem tea is good too. Be sure to tell them to skip the aloe Vera jelly and/or basil seeds if you are not a fan of those sinkers(the drink comes automatically with it).

Came on a Tuesday evening when they were doing their 99 cent regular boba milk tea special! It was pretty crowded, but the line moves fast. The cashier was very nice, and I thought he was going to judge me for only ordering one 99 cent drink, but he didn’t! Very nice and happy! I asked for only a little bit of sugar, and it was no problem! The tea was very meh, and the boba was slightly undercooked and chewy(I kinda like it that way, but most people don’t) – Definitely worth 99 cents, and would come again for it! There other full priced drinks also looked great!

It has actually been a while since I’ve gone here for drinks but the last time I was there, I witnessed the workers drink straight from the shaker(with their mouths touching it) and simply rinsing it with water before making the next dink. I find that to be very unsanitary. Other than that though… the drinks are usually good.

Third time coming here and the service and the Boba tea have definitely improved. Now I will become a regular The customer service meet my expectations. The two guys working there are very pleasant and polite. The timing was just right and they handled their business with a smile. Everything is just cool. They still got the 99cents special Tues and Thursday which is very cool. As for price it’s Unbeatable. And that includes the boba. Kudos to the workers for putting the effort making the place a little more better

Picture number 4(honey chrysanthemum with basil seed and aloe) on Unilocal is what attracted me to this place! However the drink I got didn’t have the chrysanthemum flower in it. But that’s okay. It would’ve probably made it difficult to drink and get stuck on the straw anyway. The drink is pretty good and not too sweet. The basil seed and aloe also gives it a good texture, not too chewy like the bubbles from bubble tea.

I came here for milk tea and popcorn chicken and boy was my mind blown! I ordered the black milk tea(with pudding and grass jelly) and the basil popcorn chicken. The milk tea itself was good, nothing too special, but the pudding and grass jelly were delicious and they were quite generous with the amount! The basil popcorn chicken was SO juicy. It was well-seasoned and lightly crisp. I was on the way to my bus back to DC, so I loved the ease of using the long toothpick to eat each tasty morsel as I’m on the go. They have a wide assortment of milk tea, smoothie, and other drink options. In addition to basil, the popcorn chicken comes in other flavors such as garlic and spicy. They also serve potato snacks, curry balls, and other small tasty snacks. A tiny little shop in Chinatown to stop and go, I definitely will be back for more!
