I always have the BEST service here. They take their time to make their work the best and always give you a discount if you pay in cash. The receipt they give you is also good to use for any touch ups that might be needed during your first week of your manicure. To top everything off, they sterilize all of their tools and open up the kit they will use on you right in front of you. I’ve been going here ever since I moved to NYC three years ago and it’s been nothing short of amazing service.

This place is an absolute gem of a find. But as others have said here before, I almost didn’t want to review it in fear of everyone flocking my favorite mani pedi place. Ambience — The whole décor is new and nicely done. They have a nice, quiet policy and their workers are never unnecessarily chit chatting. Apart from the fact that all pedicures are done on massage chairs, I appreciate that even the manicurists get nice stools and chairs unlike other places where they’re often stooping for your treatment. Cleanliness and hygiene — The place is always spot clean. They put a plastic wrap between your feet and the pedicure area, meaning you never have to worry about another customer’s bacteria or infections affecting you. They always open a new sterilized equipment set for your treatment and everything else is disposable as well. Price — With all that service and investment, you’d expect to pay through your nose, but their packages are surprisingly affordable. Don’t hesitate to check them out.

Kelly was amazing! So sweet and thorough. Had gel mani and Normal pedi. Wish I’d found this place sooner. Really nice. Cash only!

Great, cheap manicure and pedicure. They’re open late, which is convenient since I tend to work late. They’re very efficient with the service, but I never feel rushed. Only downside is that I can’t make an appointment. Love this place!

I love this place ! Compared to the other nail salons around this one, it’s peaceful. The nail techs take their time and are so gentle it’s amazing. It was an amazing experience along with the amazing neck massage they give you while your sitting at the dryer. When it comes to the polish, they don’t have a huge selection of colors or nail polish brands(I’m not too big of a fan of Essie) but everything else was amazing. Definitely going back ! Definitely recommending.

I went in there after looking up this place on Unilocal.I got the $ 28 mani/pedi special, which is only If you pay with cash and not credit. Right before my nails were gonna get painted, she asked me to pay and i gave her $ 5 for tips instead of $ 6 which would be 20%. The reason I gave $ 5 is because I know had $ 33 on cash with me. Idk what her name is but my manicurist brought us how it’s usually 20% tip. I apologized that I didn’t have it on me and that I would get her next time. She got passive aggressive. This other manicurist comes from another table and tries to tell me that it is suggested 20% tip. I told her I only had that much cash and she can charge me everything on my card if she wants. I was annoyed at this point. She even took my card and then for some reason said it’s okay this time and returned it. My manicurist then goes on to give me a crappy manicure. She didn’t even put the top coat or oil on. Didn’t even bother saying bye and goes on to take care of next customer. Well I guess I won’t be going back there after this type of customer service

Mei Ling gave me a gel manicure and it’s absolutely flawless! I’ve been doing gel for quite some time and I’ve never had someone complete it with such precision. She really took her time and they look BEAUTIFUL! This will be my new neighborhood go to spot! Highly recommend

This is my favorite place to go in the city for nails — this last time I got a gel manicure from Mei Ling and she was awesome. Very detail oriented and everytime she added something she had my check to make sure I liked it. Very happy with the results!

They do a great regular mani and gel manicures. But totally suck at pedi. I think my feet looked better before I got there. The polish looks good but they don’t scrub well at all just a little foot wash with soap.

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to get your nails done, look no further! I’ve been to Broadway Nails and Massage a 7 or 8 times now and always receive great service. I always bring my own tools, and they are very accommodating, but they have always appeared thorough about sanitization when I have been there. I also ask to have my cuticles softened and pushed, but not cut and every manicurist has been happy to comply.(I may suggest doing the same at ANY salon as it’s actually illegal to cut cuticles.) As some other reviewers mentioned, they give you a shoulder massage as well while your nails dry. I did have a service here once that I thought the massages I received(leg and foot, hand and arm, and shoulder) were a bit painful and not relaxing, but as I said, I’ve been here a few times now and that was only once. Polish jobs have always been beautiful and fairly long lasting and polish selection is quite large. They don’t let you add the tip on a card here, so you’ll need to bring cash or face the ATM fee.

Got a gel manicure and basic pedicure today. She was great with removing cuticles and gave a nice polish application. I’ve been going here for the last three months, prices are great and service is pretty fast. I’ll be back.

So I know i’m a guy and men typically don’t get manicures that often but I was going in for an interview and I knew I needed to look my best, and what can I say from years of neglect my nails have seen better days. I remember passing this place often so I decided why not check it out and see what this place could do. The manager was friendly and did not smirk as I told her I needed my nails fixed and improved at least. She told me what I was looking for was a manicure explained in detail whats involved and the cost. Then she told me about a $ 23.00 man-pedi special they had. I decided to go with the special. I was seated and one of her friendly nail care specialists got to work. The nail care specialist was very friendly and soon I went from a bit nervous to very comfortable and at ease. I felt like a friend that I knew for years was fixing my nails and not someone I just met.

Flat out lied to me about the wait time. I walked in, asked wait time for pedicure. The woman at the front asks one of the ladies working in Mandarin, who answers 40 minutes, and the one at the front turns to me and says 10 minutes. I promptly walked out. Was there at 4:45 pm Friday Jul 31. I was in a red dress. Check you cameras. I have no reason to lie, and to be told that I need to have proof that I stopped by is even more ridiculous. I have no reason to make this up, all I was looking for was a quick pedicure. I was on my way to have happy hour. And to point out the price is unnecessary. All I was looking for was a quick pedicure. And rather than apologize and say you will speak to those working there that day to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers, and move on, you now write comments disbelieving I even stopped by shows what sort of management runs this place. Regardless of the price, everyone just want to manage their time correctly. Maybe if it was another day I would have waited 40 minutes. But I can tell you no one likes to be told 15 minutes when the wait is 40.

I prefer places which are reasonable and give me work worth the money spent. These folks are good! Prices very reasonable– 25 for mani pedi. V v good job. The girl changed my nail paint bec i dint like it without any attitude. Pretty busy location. All utensils used are clean. Nail paint collection is decent. In summary– I got what I wanted and I am coming back :)!!

Last visit I saw a worker take an instrument not wrapped from a drawer under some dirty objects while doing a pedicure and go back to the costumer. Without appointments its hit or miss and most are not good, unless you want to wait for the person you want you have to be seen by who ever is available… Have to give one star, I went several times after my first good experience and each time it got worse. Today I walked out because I asked for a color change and it was red, the manicurist was getting it all over my skin on each finger and wiping it, made it look like I am bleeding. It seemed that she thought that was The way it is done. In 20 years of getting nails done I have never seen anything like that. I asked to remove the polish off the 4 fingers and left, noone tried to stop me.

Awful costumer service. Terrible gel manicure. Too bad I have to give this place one star; it doesn’t deserve any. First of all, NYC Nail Salon has a super limited, crapy selection of gel colors. They charge $ 28.50; for that price, they really should have more choices. I had a gel manicure on Saturday. It chipped by Wednesday. I went back on Thursday to ask if they would fix it. It was just one nail, after all. 5 minutes work tops & they weren’t even busy. I was asked if I had a receipt. Seriously? Receipt? When do you even get a receipt from a nail salon, let alone keep it? I’ve never been to a nail salon that won’t fix their own work, if it doesn’t last a week. Keeping in mind they advertise that a gel manicure will still be flawless in 2 to 3 weeks. I asked to speak to a manager; one of the nail technicians went and«talked» to the owner, behind closed doors. The owner refused to come out & speak to me. But, then, I have no way of knowing if the technician was actually talking to anyone at all. Bottom line. Don’t go to this salon. There are far too many other places to choose from.
