Brazilian Wax Manhattan at Beleza Beauty Spa

Fernanda is fan-​tastic! I can’t say enough positive things. She let me in when she was closing and didn’t have an appointment. Have me a great deal when i had EVERYthing done. She makes you feel very comfortable… Was the most pain-​less wax experience I have ever had. Can i say that? Beleza is a must :) thanks again Fernanda !

Although the space was tiny, the waxer was quick, conversational, and kind. However, some skin was lifted as soft wax was applied over the same spot. Ouch.

For starters:
Everything is clean and comfortable from the waiting/​reception to wax room. Staff is friendly and professional.
Fernanda is AMAZING!
1– As far as waxing goes, she is good, clean and fast.
2-​Very knowledgable about various treatments for skin and skincare. I scheduled an appointment to come back for a facial, consult and to learn more about a product they carry. She sent me away with a bunch of great information and samples! (She seemed to know more about what was happening to my skin than my dermatologist!!!)
Can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend!

This place is the best spot for waxes. Fernanda is so comfortable to be around and does a great job (she is the only technician so you are guaranteed a great service).

I’ve just came back from my monthly visit to Fernanda and that reminded me that I own her a review.
First and foremost, I found her when I was looking for a Brazilian to do my Brazilian waxing.
Let me explain, I’m Brazilian myself, and with that being said, no need to say that I’m really picky with my wax. Since I moved to USA three years ago, I’ve been trying to do my waxing by myself as I never found anybody that I liked. Yeah, I’m THAT picky.
So, it’s been some months that I’m going there and I can say that she is amazing! As somebody else mentioned, she doesn’t leave one hair out of place, and the most important, the wax lasts 4 weeks. It always depends from person to person, but back in Brazil I used to do my wax every three weeks and with her it lasts longer.
I strongly recommend her!

As the expression goes, you get what you pay for!!! I have nothing but a rave review for this spa!!! So clean, so sterile, and no double dipping. This is actually my 1^st review written on Unilocal– ever… but I have to let everyone know that Fernanda is awesome! She’s personable, warm, friendly and professional.
Yesterday, I had my first brazilian wax and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Let me just say that my tolerance for pain is pretty low. I explained to her it was my first time and I was very nervous. She immediately assured me I’m in great hands and that I’ve made the right decision getting this service done. 30 minutes later I was all done, and I’m never going back to shaving. I actually scheduled another appointment right away to see her in 4 wks.
I definitely recommend her for waxing, you won’t regret it.

I went to Fernanda for the first time a couple of weeks ago for my Brazilian wax, and as far as waxing goes, it was so calming and painless that I felt pampered walking out. Honestly, I don’t know if I can go anywhere else ever again. She will send you a text reminder about your appointment and will always treat you with the utmost respect. Her attention to detail and any possible discomfort on your part makes you feel perfectly comfortable about something so intimate.
Over the summer, Fernanda was on maternity leave, which was when I began going, but even then, I really enjoyed going for my monthly wax because it was like a sanctuary of relaxation. The waxing is quick and very detailed, so it’s as painless and as clean as can be. I went to a few places before trying Beleza. The other places were okay, except for one which was horrible, but Beleza is without a doubt on a completely different level of quality, and not at some outrageous price!
If you were looking for a waxing place to go to, honestly, look no further. My only reservation about this post is that she might become so popular that I won’t be able to get a reservation!

I love Fernanda and recommend her to anyone who is looking for salon services for waxing and bleaching. What I really appreciate about her is that she’s honest and doesn’t try to sell you services that you don’t need. She always makes you feel comfortable. She ensures that her work is meticulous. She’s flexible with appointments. Overall, she’s a warm and friendly person.

I almost never write reviews. But Fernanda is the BEST! She saved my eyebrows from a lifetime of abuse and made them one of my best features. I don’t let anyone touch them but her and I get compliments literally almost daily.
Two days ago I got my first facial from her and I wonder why I waited so long. Just an hour ago someone at work told me I was glowing and they could tell the difference.
Fernanda knows how to make you look and feel beautiful. I go to her not only because she makes me gorgeous but also because of her gentle, positive energy. I always leave her feeling better inside AND out.

I’ve been going to Fernanda Santos for years now for a variety of treatments. I work and now live on Long Island and I keep coming back just to see her. I am so glad she has opened her own location she is so flexible to meet you whenever you need, and she takes her time in making sure everything is done with the utmost attention to detail. She has a fantastic wax technique where it is rather quick and so painless it actually feels relaxing. I know its crazy to feel like after a busy week that you might look forward to a wax, but she is that good!
I have never received so many compliments on my eyebrows until i started getting them done with her. I love that they are still full looking and yet perfectly manicured and shaped to go well with the look of my face. She is quite exceptional at making girls look their best and she has a a good following of people who know a thing or two about beauty. I just recently spotted victoria’s secret model, Flavia Oliveira, who is just one of many gorgeous and famous faces Fernanda takes care of. so I most definitely feel safe in her care.
Recently, I have begun doing facials that have left my skin looking better than ever it has seriously cut down on my make up usage just a little moisturizer and pop on the cheeks and I’m great to go with my skin bright and glowing.
She does so many treatments and all exceptionally well with the same attention to detail from head to toe she takes care of me so well. If you are in the area and looking for a salon with a real amazing professional to take care of your beauty needs look no further. –oh and last but not least compared to other salons in the area offering similar treatments Fernanda has the best prices!
