Let me tell you something… if you are with friends, and you want a delcious and well priced pizza in a clean and very friendly place – you will NOT find a better spot than this. I bought A Groupon and before I took my friend last night I went online to read reviews of Sergios. I saw some good ones and some not so good, so I had my concerns as I took my friend(a woman who I had not seen in years). I was SOPLEASANTLYSURPRISED! The young man who worked the register took such excellent care of us, I really would appreciate if you will thank him for us! He served us at our table, he pulled a second table over to make us more relaxed and comfortable(without us even having to ask), and he made sure we were happy the whole time. We really enjoyed our visit. He even told us that the food was made with love, and you know what? It was, and we loved it! Thank you!

I live down the street from this place and go there regularly. A little tip is they usually put out all the fresh pizzas around dinner time(4−7ish) after that its usually just selling the left overs until they close around 10⁄11(closes early) Toppings galore. Best slices I’ve had are the sicilian, the vegetable, buffalo chicken and they also sometimes have a plain pizza with garlic knot crust mmm

This place changed owners a few months back, I believe it is called Sergios Pizza now. Judging by the previous reviews it seems like these guys have done a much better job than when it was Bravos pizza. Every time I go there they have a large selection of slices and the speciality slices are absolutely loaded with toppings and they even have some crazy things like pizza with garlic knots for the crust. Its priced comparatively to other pizza places in this area/midtown but definitely dominates in the topping /sq inch ratio.

Great bad pizza! The delivery time is surprisingly quick and they’re always nice. They also open later than some other places in the neighborhood.

This place looks like it’s gonna be gross but the regular cheese slice is surprisingly delicious. 3.5 stars because it’s impossible to track down toppings(hot pepper, etc) in here and the disappearance of the advertised $ 0.99 slice after lunch time. It kinda sucks paying $ 2.50 for a slice that cost less $$ a few hours earlier.

Two stars leaning towards three… sweet sauce. Wait they’re open late. Ok, tell me something I don’t know. Well this is a pure $ 0.99 slice for about $ 2.50. Now I’m not knocking 0.99 cent slices, and I’m not knocking these slices. They are what they are. Take it from me, at 1:30am when you’re looking for that special slice, but you just need *A* slice, this place will certainly do. And with Oprah and her various makeover shows on the telly, you’re sure to be entertained as well. Truth be told, they do have pretty good garlic knots, but then again when it comes to garlic, I’m easily impressed.

Bad and overpriced pizza… two things one should never encounter in NYC, especially together. I’m not sure why anyone would eat here a second time. And if you’re reading this review, don’t even bother going a first time.

Ok. I sometimes look for reasons to rip into these businesses, and I thought this place was going to make it easy, with their over flowing trash can, and grimy finger printed stand alone ATM in the corner, that looks like something out of the movie BIG. Oh and no bathroom… However, the slice of Pepperoni pizza(while a little salty) was very good and for only $ 1.65 you really can’t beat it. On to dessert around the corner.

I don’t have anything against these guys, and who can argue with a $ 1 plain slice(before tax)? Well, I can. The crust was actually respectable, striking that tough balance between crisp and chewy that defines the«New York» slice. But what was on top was so larded with grease that I cried oil a few minutes later. It was almost worse than a crappy neighborhood slice, since those don’t come off as a terrible waste of okay crust. I’d rather have 99-Cent Fresh Pizza any day. Probability of return within 1 year: 0%

Decent pizza, but around $ 9 for two pepperoni slices and a soda in a non-crazy neighborhood in a non-crazy post-drunken area seemed a little bit pricey. Would I go again? Sure. Would I search it out in the neighborhood when I’m craving a slice? Probably not.

I’ve been seeing them advertise $ 1 for a plain slice for a couple of weeks. Yesterday after pulling a volunteer shift at a local nonprofit organization, I was walking past here again and temptation finally gave in. I went in and I got the plain slice as previously mentioned. It was cheesy goodness. The crust was a little thinner than I like but I’ve had worse for much more money. Also the tables were all filled at a little after 5PM on a Tuesday which I think is a good sign. So I sat at the counter as photographed by Kate B. One thing I will mention– have exact change if you plan on ordering because they rounded up the tax to $ 1.10. No biggie– still a bargain in Manhattan.

Was in the neighborhood and wanted a final NY slice before heading back to the South, and a friend with me said she eats here occasionally… so I said, «why not?» Once I got in the door she told me she eats here drunk. Oh well. I was already inside. Not the best slice, not the worst. Also tried the pepperoni roll and a broccoli and chicken stuffed slice. The pepperoni roll was too greasy/cheesy for me but still wasn’t bad… it just wasn’t the smartest thing to eat before a long drive. oh well. Roomy place and you won’t feel cramped having a sit-down meal here.

Late night pizza cravings after bar hopping and this fit the bill. I had a slice of white and the pizza crust was good and crispy, cheese was good. Overall I enjoyed it. except for the crazy guy yelling outside. hahah

Meh. ^^^ That’s my review of the food. Bland, dry crust. Canned mushrooms. Mealy tomatoes. Papa Johns could shame this, and that’s shameful. The service we got was far below«Meh.» We were the only customers in the place and they somehow forgot us. Turned our first reheated slices into charcoal. On replacing those, they so obviously didn’t want to lose any more product that they put them in the oven for way too little time, and my mushroom spinach slice came out lukewarm on the edges and cold and slimy in the middle. While we were eating, the proprietor stood behind us staring at a television and cursed in Italian. I don’t speak Italian, but my childhood best friend’s dad was an Italian immigrant. I know what was said when someone was not happy. The proprietor went through the worst of those words. If the food’s good, salty language doesn’t phase me in the least, but this place has NOTHING going for it. The food sucks. The service sucks. The proprietor can’t be bothered with customers because he’s swearing at a television set. He should just stay at home. If I wanted this calibur of experience, I’d buy a can of Chef Boy-ar-dee and a loaf of Wonderbread and sit across from one of the outburst prone crackheads on my block.

You would never guess it by looking at their beautiful menu or website but this typical grungy NYC pizza place is a chain of half a dozen locations in Manhattan. I tried a piece of their deep dish styled pizza. It was kinda like Pizza Hut’s deep dish but even worse tasting. I paid the most I ever had for a slice of pizza, a whopping $ 4.25(which was a mark up from their older prices printed on their menu). So the pizza was bad and expensive, the service wasn’t friendly, and the location was your average plain pizza joint, definately one of the worst pizza’s I’ve had ever

The pizza, salads and pasta here are super good and they’re open late. Why three stars? Cause the service is super spotty. The delivery can take a while and sometimes they only delivery pizza instead of their full menu. The best bet here is to stop in for a slice late night. Don’t bother with anybody over the phone.

Don’t expect to rapturously applaud or have a Top Chef-quality slice here. The fresh mozzarella and tomato slice looks pretty good here but mine tasted just off. The tomato sauce tasted burnt, overpowering whatever flavor the cheese may have had. The crust was solid and had some crispiness to it. At $ 3.25, fairly priced for the area if the slice was any good. Maybe you have to come during peak hours. Or maybe you just have to look for something other than pizza in this area.

Had a nice broccoli and spinach number. Dough was crusty and bready, just the way I like it. I’d like to say more but it was just a goddamned slice of pizza. Besides, wifey and I just stopped there on the way to Loehmann’s…

A nice neighborhood option for pizza and even salads. Inexpensive and fast delivery make this a good choice for your NY slice. The pizza is kinda doughy but it’s all good.
