Blind Wash

So now that I’ve actually had my blinds cleaned, I’m mollified. They did an excellent job. The blinds look like new. Apparently, Blindwash has been around for 17 years as a small family operation. They’re only now really starting to structure it as a competitive business.
The good thing is that you’re dealing with the owner, not a hired minimum wage helper who couldn’t care less. At the same time, scheduling communication could be made easier and more effective. If they fix things at that end, they’ll be perfect.

Charming guy arrived and did a magnificent job. The issues are on the admin end. They don’t tell you they don’t take credit cards. The website is not helpful either. Use them anyway. My blinds look brand new

Shame on me! We didn’t clean our blinds for 15 years! I found Blind Wash on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. They deserve 10 stars!!! Professional, courteous, respectful, timely and so much more. I dealt with Sharon (in the office) and Evan (in the field) Both were beyond great. I LOVE to support local business and they deserve it! I would say to anyone in need of blind cleaning BLIND WASH is it!!!

I was hesitant to use them at first because it seemed a bit expensive (we have three large blinds) but in the end it turned out to be well worth the cost! I just moved into a new apartment and the blinds were filthy. Blind Wash came to my home, removed the blinds, cleaned them in their truck, and brought them back 1 hr later looking BRAND NEW. It was worth every penny! The man doing the removal and installation was really nice too. Would HIGHLY recommend them.

This company has a mobile ultrasonic system for cleaning all kinds of window blinds. Basically, they take down your blinds, they wash your blinds in their truck, they put your blinds back – all in an hour or two.
I got a bid from Sharon, one of the owners. She was very professional and fun to talk to. She booked an appointment for next week. So far, the only downside is that they only take cash and checks, no credit cards. Also, the earliest they come is 10:30. These are minor problems but worth noting.
I’ll update after the work is done.
UPDATE: I’m going up to 5 stars. They are just great.
Eyal (Sharon’s business partner) showed up right on time, cheerfully went about his business, and even saved me some money. He advised that Silhouette shades with blackout slats can’t be successfully cleaned ultrasonically – he even told me that I should get some compressed air and just blow the dust off.
He hand-​cleaned my wooden blinds, which are now like new. (The wood cleaner has a bit of a scent; ask about this if you think it might bother you.) He told me candidly that several honeycomb blinds were so dirty they would not come out perfectly; I went ahead (and was quite satisfied), but I appreciated his honesty.
They price by brand, style, and linear foot. Sharon’s quote was right on, except that I didn’t know exactly what kind of blinds I had, so any mistakes were mine. Not cheap, but sure cheaper than buying and installing new blinds.
