Average neighborhood bar with a very chill vibe. The usual selection of bottles and draft beers from large breweries and medium sized breweries owned by large breweries. Cocktails that I saw around other tables didn’t look appealing at all. However they’re all sold at a fair price, kudos to that. Probably the main reason for coming here would be the gaming area. It takes up about half the total area of the bar. Some dart boards and two pool tables consist of the gaming btw. 2 bucks in quarters for pool. Bit cramped for the cue stick so be aware of your surroundings. This one rather large fellow almost knocked my pint over(i was sitting on the table right to entrance of restrooms). Few TVs scattered around all over so can always catch whatever is going on that night. Friendliest bouncers ever. Super weird.

I couldn’t have been more disappointed in this place. I was looking for a place to eat and catch up on some work. I saw this place had free Wi-Fi so I stopped in. I sat down at a table with stools and unpacked my computer. At that time, there were a handful of people around and a female bartender. I try to connect to the Wi-Fi only to find out it’s password protected. I decided to wait to ask until the bartender asked if I wanted something. Forty-five minutes passed… she never came or tried to ask if I needed something. Luckily, I was able to do some work on my phone. The place never got busier than maybe 7 – 10 people and the bartender never left from behind the bar. She was more interested in talking to her regulars and complaining about how awful her life was. I ultimately left after overhearing another patron ask if they served food and she said no. How do you let someone sit down for 45 minutes without asking if he/she needs anything? The only thing that was deserving of any stars was the cleanliness but I will never stop by this place again. I went next door.

I have been going to Bleecker Street Bar with friends as well as my wife for probably 5 or 6 years. It’s a good low key local spot in NOHO or the Village(however you may categorize the neighborhood). The booze & liquor is inexpensive, the staff is friendly and they know what they’re doing at the door and behind the bar. They have 3 dart boards, a few pool tables and plenty of space to have nice of drinking. There are also a number of tvs, sports being played constantly as well as a digital jukebox to waste tons of money on music.

Awesome hole in the wall bar with a couple amazing pool tables. The fact that a few guys and gals walked in with their own pool stick tells me the tables are no joke.

Came here for a friend’s birthday this past weekend and it’s your typical dive bar but without the dive prices($ 5 bud light is considered happy hour? whaaaaaaat?) We got a table in the back so it was pretty cozy and comfortable. We didn’t play any darts or billiards because the table was always occupied. Their credit card minimum is $ 40, which is ridiculous but the bartender let me close out at $ 25. I would say, meh. Probably won’t be back.

So you are in SoHo-ish area and you just want to grab a drink. You don’t want to be dolled up and dressed to the 9’s in such a trendy part of the city. WELLTHENTHISBARISIT. I actually loved everything about this bar and I have only been once. They have a great selection of alcohol. large bar, plenty of additional setting, darts, and a pool table. Wanna meet up with the crew and not break your wallet or just wanting to be casual? Welp this is it. I am so glad it is so close to my job. You got you a return customer

Came here for a bar meet a few days ago and came here a few times as well a few buddies. Pretty good sized bar but also quite basic, which could be a good thing for many. We had a place in the back for our group of about 20+ people which gave us plenty of space to drink and conversate. A couple of pool tables in the back(maybe 3) can’t recall, the drinks had my memory a bit fuzzy and also some darts. Took away one star due to the bartender being grumpy.

A great place if you feel like stopping in for a drink. They had some great beers on tap, including a Kentucky bourbon barrel ale, which was super weird but a cool experience nonetheless! It is super spacious and I love the fact that they have dartboards at the back! Awesome tunes too

It wasn’t a good experience for me unfortunately. A friend of mine and I decided to come here for a good time and we didn’t feel very much welcomed. The bartender that was attending us was incredibly inattentive. It kind of made me think that the bartending staff did that on purpose because we didn’t belong. It took a long time to get another bartenders attention so that we can close the tab and after five minutes we finally got her attention. Never had a I had such a horrible experience at a bar here in NYC. Very, very disappointed.

If you know what you’re getting, then this could be a fine spot. Our experience was that this is a beer and whiskey kind of place. I asked for an old-fashioned. The bartender didn’t really want to make it. That should have been my cue. Was a great place to gather with friends for the seating and the lack of a crowd on a week day night. Stick to beer and simple pours and you’ll be fine.

It’s a dive bar. There’s really nothing with it. Service is acceptable about half the time. It’s usually not too packed. Beer list might be a hair better than you’d expect. I’ve never had anything awful happen here so I guess that’s something.

We were looking for a divey sports bar in the area to watch the Stanley Cup game before a late dinner, and Bleecker Street Bar fit the bill perfectly. The staff was really friendly, the drinks were cheap, and they even have dart boards and billiard tables. Furthermore, while we were playing darts in the back one of the servers made a point of checking in with us to see if we would like to order anything else; granted, there weren’t that many people in the bar to tend to, but it was still an appreciated gesture.

After a conference, a few of us had 2 hours to spare so we wandered around NoHo trying to find a bar for a quick drink. The outside had a sign with a happy hour special so we walked right in and grabbed a table. This place was totally the sports bar and middle aged man escaping from family type of bar. I did not mind and the low key tough guy vibe was cool with me too. We ordered a few $ 5 Yuenglings and gossiped for a good while. The vibe is extremely divey, but the staff was cool and everyone else in the bar was friendly. They have darts in the corner and TVs to watch games as well. While I would never purposely choose to stop by here since it is not my style, it was a chill happy hour time. Basic and good for a quick drink with the boys.

This is one divey dive bar. I watched Super Bowl XLIX here while rooting for the Patriots, so that can’t help but color my experience. Apparently, this is a place where Seahawks fans gather, since our little enclave seemed to be the only one making noise during Boston’s big plays. The crowd was friendly and social, and the bartenders were somehow able to keep up with every order, it seemed, despite it being an incredibly packed place. In a very nice touch, they ordered enormous sandwiches and bowls of potato salad and served them to the bar gratis. Mind you, the sandwiches and salad were disgusting, but that doesn’t change that they gave us free food. All that is good for a three-star review. This next item either pushes it to two or four star territory: they don’t have a menu, so you have to order your food from elsewhere. At first I thought this was like staring into the mouth of madness. Then I realized that since the bar is situated right in the heart of the West Village, their menu consists of ALLTHEFOOD. It’s a bit of a pain in the ass, but when combined with the attentive bar staff and the friendly atmosphere, I think it veers more toward the plus column.

From the outside it looks like a local low key bar(that’s what I was hoping for) but once inside it’s just another NYU hangout. The bouncer asked for an ID even though I’m in my early 30’s and my friend in his mid 40’s… seriously? Place is not terrible specially if you stick with beer. There are a couple of billiard tables and darts in the back that you need to walk through to reach the restrooms. Be prepared to dodge darts, people or wait for someone to finish taking their shot in order to take a piss. Staff wasn’t very customer focused and had to ask three times to close my tab. Did not really meet my expectations but not completely bad.

Pretty much your average bar with average drinks. Stopped by while in the area with some folks looking for a place to grab a few. The bar is decent sized and there are pool tables in the back, which is always a good thing. The drink selection is very basic, consisting of beers, the basics of all liquors and a few house wines. All of which are pretty inexpensive. Nothing too special about this place, a very basic bar in a part of town known for basic bars.

Pretty cool place. I came in with some coworkers; since this is a place they frequent. We took a table and ordered our drinks at the bar. A little while later a waitress came on shift. The waitress was nice but she took too long to circle back to the table so we had to get some drinks still at the bar. The bar does not have a kitchen but they do have a book of order out menus. We ordered from Pluck This. Overall the lighting was warm and kind of good for the atmosphere of the place. The music got better as the night went on. When we arrived I thought we were teleported to an old man drinking bar in the south. Luckily the music did get better and we had a great night.

One of the more respectable joints around these parts. Dark wood that isn’t covered in puke or spill. Hooray! The drinks are strong! It’s average-priced($ 6 mixed drinks), the bar is big, and has darts and pool. I went on a summer Thursday and would imagine it may have a more college-heavy clientele during the fall and spring. But, at the same time, nothing spectacular that separates it from other bars.

While walking around New York City, we decided to stop for a drink. We happened across this bar. It had a nice beer selection and a full beer. It was a medium sized area. It was quiet, but it was in the middle of the day. It was a nice place to go to have a conversation with friends.
