Belleclaire Hotel

Stayed overnight with the livingsocial deal. I give one stars for the price of the deal and the friendly staff. We checked in approx 5pm and our room wasn’t ready so we waited about 10 minutes because our room had to be inspected. One we got off the elevator onto the 3 floor, it looked the hallway carpet has never been vacuumed. Once in the room, at first glance the room seemed nice. When I walked toward the bathroom I realized the floor was uneven and there was a drop off. Walking over it made you feel like you were in a tiny cabin on a rocky cruise ship. The bathroom was not maintained well, it had mold, messy chalk every where and there was hair all over the bathtub and walls. Not sure who inspected it but they did not do a very good job. Later we found you toilet clogged every time we used it, even with minimal toilet paper. It had to be plunged every time. The last issue we had was the noisy radiator. We never turned the heat on and about every hour or do we’d wake up to banging and clanging for about 2 – 3 minutes. It started after midnight so we suffered thru it. We didn’t want to turn the heat on to stop the noise, the room was very small and would end up becoming very stuffy.
I explained the issue to the gentleman at check out, he said well… you should have called, we would have taken care of it. We did call and got the plunger but nothing was offered about the noise. Would have been nice if they even offered to cover ½ the valet costs for the terrible nights sleep and impossible toilet.
Definitely would not stay there again. To many offerings in the city. Hotels that would go above and beyond to accommodate issues outside of the guests control.

Lovely hotel, very lively and friendly staff. Stayed overnight and the room was clean and maintained well. We were near the stairs so it wad loud at times but no biggie. They do not have food service in the hotel but 3 feet outside there is plenty of eateries. Would def stay again, used Groupon for a great deal.

Ein günstiges und sauberes Touristenhotel findet man im Belleclaire. Vor allem mit der Lage an der U-​Bahn-​Station an der 79sten Straße kann es Punkten. Da gebe ich gern 3 ½ von 5 Sternen.

Erstklassiges, recht günstiges 3*Hotel in der Upper Westside.
Modern eingerichtet, freundliches Personal, mehrere U-​Bahnstationen in Gehweite.
Flatscreen-​TV im Zimmer, Shop im EG. Kein Frühstück, dafür aber gratis WLan im Hotel.
