Favorite nail place in the neighborhood. Very accommodating, great prices, nice ladies and the nails last a normal amount of time without chipping.

Great fwe changes! Am not big on mani/​pedi but I come here every now and then and overall friendly staff and good pricing, I just want to say thank you to management and/​or owners for taking more precautions when it comes to hygiene, I have noticed that your specialists are using sink covers for each client and disposable foot scrubby tools stickers (not sure what they are called) I really appreciate it, I will be back more now :)

These ladies are amazing! The owner is the sweetest woman and always remembers me. Cindy is a gem and is the most meticulous manicurist I have ever encountered. Go here! You won’t be sorry.

This place is really small and cozy but the staff is friendly and they know what they are doing! Had a great mani-​pedi, even if it was a Saturday afternoon they accommodate me right away! I will go back!

This is my go to place for gel manis and pedis. A few years ago, i went for a gel mani. My nails were long and one of them was in the verge of breaking off. They glued it, and the next day, it started to break off some more. So I went in to ask if they could refix nail. I told them I’d pay whatever it cost. May, the manager, sat me down, removed the gel off that one nail, mended it even better, then reapplied the nail color. «So how much do I owe you?» I asked. She just waved me off with a smile and said dont worry about it. She even refused a tip. From that day on, I was hooked. The level of customer service was so unexpected. Everyone here does a really thorough job. I never feel rushed. And the attention to detail is close to impeccable. Every once in a while, I might come across something like a manicure bubble or a slightly uneven nail. But that happens so rarely. Still, these ladies are worth 5 stars.

Super close to home and my new go to nail place! For the price ($ 24 for mani + pedi) I wasn’t sure what to expect but my manicurist was very attentive to detail and spent a lot of time making sure every nail was perfectly polished. I love the spa chairs with massage backs for the pedis and my favorite part is the awesome callous remover part of the pedicure. Everyone was polite and the environment was pleasant. It definitely isn’t the fanciest spa but it’s a nice experience for a very affordable price.

The salon is clean, pricing is a bit overpriced, smooth atmosphere and friendly nail techs overall. I been at this spot for 5 years and I always walk out feeling please. The only thing is I hate the long wait to settle down. Other than that I will definitely recommend lily or Betty they pay attention to details, and they take their time until you leave with a perfected nail look. Gel usually last 2 – 3 weeks depending on nail growth but worth it when you are active or on vacay but want to maintain pretty nails and not get any chips like the other polish that last barely a week.

This place is great and the prices are decent. I’ve been going here for 4 years already. I moved to gramercy last month and still come here to get my nails done.

Really great service, really great manicures, really great prices. Dont know what else to say! Highly recommend, and ive never had a bad experience here! All the women here are so friendly and so helpful with helping with your coats, shoes, etc. Really like this place.

Went in for a gel manicure. Cost $ 30. The manicure was done unevenly and it chipped only 2 – 3 days after I got the manicure. I have never heard of/​had gel manicures chip that soon after getting it done, so I’m exceptionally disappointed. I went back after a week to ask for them to remove it because it had already chipped after only 2 – 3 days and they told me it costs $ 8. I understand that’s the going rate at their salon for gel manicure removals, but when the reason behind wanting to remove it is because they didn’t do a good job, I feel like it’s in their best interest to offer removal for free. Isn’t that how you keep your customers happy? I didn’t find it unreasonable of an ask, but apparently they did. Thanks for asking me to pay $ 38 for a poorly done gel manicure that I don’t want anymore.

Beauty and Cutie on 14^th Street is fabulous — very high quality, attentive service and so affordable. The entire team is attentive and friendly, they really care! A $ 9 manicure here is better than almost any $ 50+ manicure I have received at fancy spas.

Nancy is my go to manicurist. But the whole shop is chalked full of the really experienced nail techs. Mani is 8 and pedi is 18 but the combination is only $ 24. I usually get the spa package with 20 minutes of massage for $ 40.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I’ve been here a few times now – the service is always amazing. I’ve never had someone take so much time and care with my pedicure. Even if there is a wait, they won’t rush. I’ve had some issues with the paint job chipping in the past, but I’ve started bringing my own polish which solved the problem. They never push additional services on you but I always end up upgrading because the prices are so good (I highly recommend the dream pedicure with 10 minute foot massage).
Something that really stood out to me – I accidentally stubbed my little toe getting out of the pedicure chair and the manicurist got down on her knees and insisted in fixing it (to be honest, I didn’t even notice the damage). Really shows the time and care the put into each customer.
Also, they post their wifi password – is it sad this is a plus for me? Nice to know I wasn’t wasting data as I was getting my pedicure.

I’m not sure why, but the manicure started chipping in a day or two. But other than that, the ladies pay VERY special attention to your fingers and toes. The mani/​pedi took well over an hour and they were in no rush. They paid attention to the smallest details and they cared a lot about your satisfaction. The massage chairs are also great!

The only reason why this isn’t 5 star despite the flawless service is because I think the products they used are low-​quality. Started chipping the second day. A good chunk was off by the third day.

Their biggest pro: for $ 24, you get a mani/​pedi and the ladies pay really close attention to detail of the quality of the outcome. If my cuticles weren’t perfect, my technician would go back and fix it, even if we were partway through the polish process. So if you’re looking for thorough detail on a budget, go here. However…
…HUGE con in my eyes: they are far from sanitary here. Maybe it’s just me being picking but I’m very particular when it comes to the sanitation of the tools being used on me. The metals tools did not come out of a fresh sanitized pack… They weren’t even soaking in that blue sanitation liquid. It’s like they lightly rinse the tools off and are «good to go». If you’re going to be cutting skin on my fingers (and probably nicking me somewhere along the way), I want to know that those tools are thoroughly sanitized. Minus point #2: the manicure station we sat at had clipped nail pieces from a previous customer. Ew.
And minus point #3: I got a small nick while she was cutting my cuticles, as usual during manicures anywhere, and she put antiseptic on the cut without warning me that it was going to burn. Just a little warning would have been nice because that stuff stung pretty hardcore.
Overall the lack in sanitation isn’t worth the budget-​friendly price since I don’t get my nails done all the time. Probably won’t be going back.

It is rare that a nail spot really takes the time to care about the quality of a true mani… They were amazing! Although any good mani pedi takes time it was well worth it.
I also got a 15 min massage and she REALLY worked my knots out — this was just the regular «half a$$» massage that you normally get.
Def going to come back here!

This may be my favorite nail place ever, and I’ve been around the block with nail salons. Not only are they extremely friendly and do a fantastic job, B&C is also super affordable.
I went to Chameleon nail around the corner for a year because it was the first I stumbled upon as it’s so large and well lit, but I always walked past Beauty and Cutie. Finally fed up with the terrible service at Chameleon, I took another Unilocalers advice on Chameleon’s page and ventured here. Thank you to that Unilocal user!
Every single manicurist I’ve had here has done a fantastic job and my nails usually last about 5 days with minimal chipping. They also do an AWESOME 10 minute chair massage. I feel like butter after every one.
And here’s the kicker: today I went in and got a mani/​pedi + 10 min foot massage + 10 min back massage + quick dry on my mani and the grand total was $ 42!!! FORTY-​TWO! Winner, winner, chicken dinner is all I have to say about that!

Got a manicure Wednesday night and nails had chipped to extreme extent by Thursday night/​Friday morning. Used Essie polish so I do not see why this manicure should have lasted for less than 2 days. I was not doing any sort of unusual activity in this time period. Essie manicures generally last almost a week on me. Very dissapointed in this salon, especially given the other positive reviews.

My first visit ever, on a snowy Tuesday evening, and it was fantastic! I think this is a sister establishment to Top A Nail, but this location is much more intimate and the staff 10x more friendly. I came for a mani-​pedi around 5pm and was seated immediately. Closer to 7pm, more and more walk-​ins wandered in, but ultimately only had to wait 5 – 10 mins. My manicurist, Lindy, rates high of my list of sweetest people I’ve ever met. She was extremely patient and attentive to my nails. She really took her time and didn’t do a rush job just because I only opted for the basic mani-​pedi. What amazed me the most was that she wrapped my toes with some kind of oil and Saran Wrap, and helped me into my socks and boots as I was leaving! I had assumed that with the cold weather, I was just going to have risk smudging my nails. Never would I have dreamed that the someone would care enough to ensure I got all the way home with my new nail job intact! Not as many women were getting pedis done at that time, so I can’t tell if this was salon practice or just Lindy’s amazing attention to detail. Either way, it certainly was a highlight of the experience, and had me overlooking the fact that I thought my nail coats were on thicker side.
The intimate size of the shop and the warm, friendly service make this a top notch experience, even without the extra massages to make you feel fuzzy all over. I say absolutely consider making this your regular nail spot.
(Full disclosure: I speak Mandarin and thus made some small talk, which may have helped establish some of the friendly interaction I experienced. But, the supervisor/​cashier speaks English well and she definitely put in effort to make other non-​Chinese speaking guests feel equally as welcome).
