Ordered today for lunch delivery at 12:15, didn’t arrive until 1:40 and I had completely forgotten I had even ordered. I was so annoyed by the wait time, that I had almost lost my appetite. Well almost.
The shrimp pad thai was a very huge generous amount, but lacks much of a flavor and kick I was expecting. The shrimp were also a bit tough.
I really wanted to like this place, since I can’t seem to find decent thai in my neighborhood. You let me down Bali Sea!

I was visiting NYC from Canada and had a chance to try out this new place.
Overall the food is good and service is friendly.
I was curious about the inspection result after having to read the other review. So I checked the NYC Restaurant inspection info. But I think the inspection was done before the place was taken over by Bali Sea.
I don’t know about the previous restaurant but Bali Sea looks pretty clean to me.
I like their Duck Panang Curry and spring rolls; satay sauce is creamy and fried rice is also flavourful. I would come again next time I visit NYC.

Stumbled upon this place a few days ago. Picked it at random since everything else was closed (had forgotten it was Christmas). We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, ambience, and service. I had curry duck and it was delicious! The owner (?) and waiter were super attentive and gave us a 15% discount because of the holidays (paid under $ 30!). Definitely bringing more people back. :)
