WORST EXPERIENCE ever around 8:30 pm on a monday. Horrible service omggg and not to mention GHETTTOOO Neverr again!!!

Recently moved into the area with my girlfriend & needed a bite to eat. I did not expect much from a chain restaurant but was ultimately impressed. Happy hour all day all week will win anyone over! Our waiter was very friendly and casual. Took our order and brought out our drinks afterwards. I loved the décor and the obvious pride this Applebee’s has with being located in Harlem. I ordered the Triple Bacon burger and my girlfriend ordered the black bean soup. Food was delicious and our drinks were strong (she had a margarita while I had a normal draft). Our waiter later recommended the Long Island Ice Tea which was not part of the Happy Hour menu but was good regardless. The crowd was mixed with younger people sitting closer to the bar, enjoying happy hour to families getting a bite to eat on a nice Saturday afternoon. Our waiter took a little bit long to get back to us while we were waiting to ask for the check. While we were waiting we missed the obvious machine sitting at the edge of our table that allows people to order and/​or pay for their food right there, no need for waiter. This was a pleasant surprised & it shows the flexibility of this particular Applebees (I don’t know if all restaurants have the machines now). Clearly I have not been to a Applebees in while. I will be returning to this location often!

Piss Poor! I understand it was busy. But to charge full price when I asked if I can order happy hour from my table is ridiculous. The fact that I had to flag for my my waitress after every 15 minutes was ridiculous. When my order came after 20 minutes it was incorrect! RIDICULOUS! Wasted an hour+ of my time for a burger for my daughter and 1 drink! So flipping upset. I may NEVER Patron another Apple Bee’s based off the service at this location. Disgusting!

We walked in for lunch around 1:30pm and it was basically an empty restaurant. The host still made us wait off to the side for several minutes. I have no idea what she was doing but she disappeared and we waited until she finally reappeared. She sat us but was so unfriendly that it seemed like we were inconveniencing her. That aside, we then waited for our server for another ten minutes just to place a drink order. When it came to our food, I had to send back my steak because the cut they used was literally all fat. By the time the new one got back out to the table, everyone else was finished with their meal so I had it packaged to-​go. The server forgot that it was being packaged to-​and it got thrown out by mistake. They took it off the bill for me, but long story short, I wasted an hour and half at Applebee’s without even getting to eat. Not planning on wasting my time at this location again.

Late night when we went service we’ve had better food was late night bad tasted like Everybody was ready to go lol although the staff was turnt up they were busy entertaining each other

My first time coming to this location, I have been in others. First the server was pale and didn’t make the experience a very nice one, furthermore the service was slow, the place wasn’t full or too busy. Also we were 4 people and when the appetizer came the server only gave us 2 sharing plates, more over the tables felt dirty and sticky. I wont come back here and I will not recommend this place.

The service here is horrible. I waited 1hour for my food and 40 minz for my drink. This place is terrible. Save your money and time. The manager offer on the house drinks for our wait. No drinks. The manager looks really ghetto. Smdh. Never again.

I usually have low expectations when it comes to chain restaurants like this and after my experience here, I have to say those expectations were shattered even more. My date and I came in to a very rude hostess and an even more rude waiter. This guy did not offer us water, just threw one menu at us and came back 20 minutes later ! Completely uncalled for and very unprofessional. By the time we got our food, it was very soggy and warm. I don’t understand how hard it is to get a simple burger properly cooked. The bill was over priced and we left hungry and disappointed. Ended up getting a slice of pizza down the block to sooth the hunger.

Huge restaurant with boothtables and a bar area separately! Nice atmosphere, good service and great food. There was a lot to choose from, even a low-​cal menu which was excellent. :)

Got here and over half the restaurant was open, dirty tables everywhere, and waited over 10 minutes to be seated. Staff was talking to each other while we waited to be seated. What the heck kind of restaurant is this???

One star for the bartender, she was a sweetie.
Oh Applebee’s! You continue to disappoint! Just when I thought I was going to like you, I walked into this particular branch!
Food wise, I’ve always found Applebee’s to be on the low end of chains, but after trying the Wonton Tacos, I figured maybe they were getting better. During a day on 125^th I decided to forego my usual, Red Lobster, and try this place.
Ha ha! Regrets.
I took myself to the bar after barely being greeted and was suggested a drink after asking. Now the bartender gave a vivid description of what the drink was and it sounded fruity with just enough kick.
There was fruitiness, no kick, and the flavor just wasn’t to my palette. However, it wasn’t unbearable, so I drank it. I decided to get those delish Chicken Wonton Tacos and some pot stickers (also suggested by the bartender because I simply couldn’t pick but both of them can be ordered together as a combo). The former was good as always, though spicer than I remembered, and the latter was forgettable. Some of the tiniest, most flavorless dumplings I’ve ever had! Yes, it took a bit of time too.
In fact, everyone’s food took a while. People either left or asked the bartender where their food was. I’ve worked in food service and that’s the either the runner’s fault for not RUNNING the food that’s ready or the cooks not doing their job. Either way, it wasn’t busy, so it made little sense that meals took forever.
As for the people there? Ugh. No. I managed to get hit on by a disgusting older man, SITTING NEXT TO HIS DAUGHTER THE ENTIRE TIME. Said fellow offered me Hennessy from his pocket! Twice! He also poured this Hennessy into his and his daughter’s drinks unabashedly! Amazing how tactless people can be! Truly.
When I left I told the bartender she was sweet, but I will never be back and the dirty pervert hitting on me he wouldn’t see me again (because he shamelessly asked) and he needed to sober up.
Never again.

I thing this Applebee’s has gotten better. The service has improved tremendously.
The food still takes a long time for something that is pre cooked.
But the drinks at Happy Hour will set you right!

I just had breakfast here today and my server was Edith. She did an awesome job. Very attentive, kind and had a great attitude about her job. Thank you for a great experience

Why do I keep giving them chances? Ordered to-​go to be picked up at a specific time, I even left late because I knew how slow they are and it wouldn’t be ready. Yet, I get there and the bartender couldn’t find my order, greaaatttt.
Then he tries to charge me and forgets my card. Overall it took half an hour to go right next door and pick up lunch. Horrible service horrible running place. I just can’t do it again

This place is ratchet!!! The employees always arguing with the costumers.
The food is good. I’ve never been disappointed though. However, they do not keep this place clean. The floor stays dirty. The servers leave it up to the busboys to clean it. It’s clearly no team work here.
The last time I dined here, the server apparently on break ate his food at a table nearby and when he was done… he left his trash on the table! this place needs a new management team and TLC.

Horrible! Dirty bathrooms with feces on the toiles and floor. The «manger» was about as effective as a postage stamp in a rainstorm. Apparently Applebee’s no longer carries turkey burgers yet the menu clearly states that they do. After receiving two incorrect dishes our waitress Alex promptly removed the dished stating that she would get the manager. This is the same manager who had not made sure the filthy bathroom was cleaned more than 30 minutes after I’d informed him of its inhumane conditions. He provided no resolution, did not apologize for the bathroom or restaurant’s menu being misleading, what type of leadership is he providing his staff. Needless to say I will not return to this Applebee’s, I live in Harlem and I will make sure all my neighbors know not to spend their money at this location. I will say Alex was very professional and tried to be resolution based.

The stars are for the happy hour. If it wasn’t for my two little ladies I’d only come here for the drinks. Even before becoming a vegan I didn’t appreciate all the processed foods. NOTHING is prepared to order.

Three stars only because my waiter was polite. I mean, it’s an Applebee’s. I know it’s either frozen food or out of a bag, sometimes that’s ok. But 15 bucks for 4 small chicken tenders with fries is just insulting. Now I remember why I rarely come to these places. Oh, well. Not bad or anything. That’s the best I can say.

Food was ok, but the service was not good. We had to wait for thirty-​five minutes and there were empty tables. Restroom was not clean. Restaurant is poorly managed.

An affordable happy hour stop! I always have the sliders with fries and at times at the quesadilla depending on how hungry I am.
I really like the new fireball lemonade. It’s a great combo of the fireball shot mixed with something sweet.
