Waited over an hour for the delivery and the restaurant is 2 blocks away. The delivery came incomplete called the restaurant for the rest of my order which was suppose to arrive within 10 mins. 1 ½ hours later still waiting for the completion of the order. This place is the worst. Never never never will I order from this place again. If you want all of your food on time THISISNOTTHEPLACETOCALL !!!

Absolutely awful. Ordered breakfast sandwiches and it took over an hour to get them; when they finally got to my apartment, they were cold. The delivery guy got lost(even though I live a few blocks away) and called me asking if I spoke Spanish, as he couldn’t speak English. Called the deli to complain about the cold sandwiches, and was told to order from a closer place and hung up on. The food sucks too.

It was a Sunday, late morning on a cold winter’s day. I was heading to see some friends in the LES and stumbled into what, from the outside, looked like a typical bodega. Once inside, I realized that it was anything but typical. The aisles are wider than most bodegas and I can honestly say, it made me feel like I was in a suburban 7 – 11 again for the first time in NYC. They have what seems like a neverending wall of refrigerator doors full of all sorts of beer, sodas, and other drinks inside. Good drink selection is crucial to me in my bodega shopping. The food is also very good and my bacon egg and cheese was delicious and low priced. This really made my day. Great selection of drinks, tasty breakfast sandwiches at reasonable prices, and a 7 – 11 type feel have now made this my favorite bodega.

I can honestly say, this is a really solid deli. The prices are really reasonable for the ‘hood, they serve Boars Head deli stuff, and the selection is overall, really decent and diverse. And friendly staff to boot! They never give me any grief about my doggy, which is awesome, and they’re always pretty quick with the sandwiches. They take plastic too! Bonus!

Grand Opening! I know because they had those colorful flags strung up across the sidewalk on the north side of Houston. And because of the sign that said«Grand Opening.» Everyone knows I can’t resist colorful flags, so I obviously wandered in to check it out. The staff was almost too nice… smiling at me broadly, clearly happy to see me. I didn’t know how to react, because this has never happened before. Even the kid stocking(and dusting!) the shelves said hello. Happily, some of the menu prices are downright insane(for NYC): Chicken parm or Philly Cheese Steak HERO? $ 4.95. TRIPLEDECKER Corned Beef, Pastrami and Swiss w/a bit of potato salad? $ 4.95. AND they are running a Grand Opening special of free coffee(they’ll substitute tea) with a breakfast sandwich. So my bacon, egg and cheese, a sausage and egg sandwich, a coffee and a tea…$ 5. Even in 1956, Mickey Mantle couldn’t beat that with a bat. Well, I guess in ’56 that would’ve cost like $ 1 anyway. But you knew what I meant. Open 24 hours.
