This was a great find for our first stop in NYC. The boys each ordered s burrito, one beef and one vegetarian. The vegetarian actually had veggies in it! Looked delicious to me, but he was thinking it would just be rice and beans :-/​they made him s new one with just rice and beans. I had the avocado salad and it was perfect!

This place has another name on grub hub. Today was my first time ordering from this place and the delivery did not take long considering it was lunch time. The tacos were good but the park ones were a little crunchier than it should have been. The chicken one was good. I also ordered roasted chicken with rice and beans. It was good. It should’ve had more flavor though.

Good, not great. This is a solid delivery option when you’re in the mood for run of the mill Mexican food. Ordered through Unilocal and got our food within 25 minutes. Everything was still hot, and there were no surprises. Ordered 3 tacos (spicy pork, chicken and beef), which were generously sized for the price. Also got maduros on the side which were just OK… not sweet enough for my taste. Bottom line, this isn’t the best Mexican food I’ve had, but it will do in a pinch.

I placed a $ 30 order for this restaurant and the food came like it was sitting inside a refrigerator besides the 1 hour wait for it it come. I called the restaurant and manager wasn’t available the cheff and girl that picked up phone where not empathetic and offer no credit or to at least to resend my order. They also mention that they didnt care about this review i hope the owners and managers read this review so they can see the bad service that goes on in their absense.

I’ve ordered from this place a few times in the past 2 months and I’ve noticed slight variations in service. One time I waited 2 hours for delivery and they never received my order via Grubhub! I recommend calling over the phone. Now to the food!;
The nachos are pretty good but twice the beans have been hard.
Maduro are hit and miss :(
Empanadas are good and not greasy.
The grilled chicken is good and so it the roast chicken leg special.
Also, delivery could improve, it usually takes over an hour to arrive.

Great breakfast burritos and fresh squeezed orange juice. Just got delivery from there Saturday morning and it came quickly and was still warm on arrival. I will definitely order from here again (but you have to ask for hot sauce on the side – they don’t automatically include!).

Get the enchiladas with mole sauce — you won’t be disappointed! They give you a ton of extra mole sauce which I ate with the side rice and beans — so delicious and spicy. I left so full afterwards and the prices were very cheap.

My favorite local joint. Latino gone towards Mexican but still has a tremendously varied a la carte plus daily specials. Good prices, nice small space for eat-​in and decent delivery time. Some very special items like the mexican wrap. Black beans are ranked in my book… not the best but very good. White rice is five star… don’t know how they do it. Tostones are usually ok, but maduros are much better. Their café con leche from the expresso machine for a buck (maybe more now?) is a bargain.

Excellent experience!
Everything we had was great! The guacamole is a must and is made fresh right in front of you to your desired spice level. I had the steak tacos and my dining companions had fajitas and shrimp mole. The service was not lacking one bit, and their Spanglish was on point!
I will definitely go back when I’m in the area again!

Sauces spilled everywhere. All food was cold. Whatever you do, don’t order delivery. They told me the guy was on his way and it took close to an hour to receive me food. The restaurant is a 10 minute walk to my apartment.

Honestly I really didn’t want to write this review but listen i give places 2 visits before i write a review and listen I went there and it was such a horrible service
I got a veggie burger ewww what veggie burger that was a rock in the middle of 2 buns with old fries and i got charged 9.25 worst mistake ever i had to throw it out it was uneatable sucks because is a local Spanish place and now I won’t be going back.
They pay no mind to you all those 2 ladies do is talk talk to each other 0 stars

So I walk into this place overwhelmed and tired looking for some quick takeout and I’m all like…
–Hi there! What’s good here, what would you order?

–Ok, so what’s the most popular thing here to order that everyone gets?

–Ummm…tacos? I’ll have the chicken tacos…
When I got home I got beef tacos though. I know my questions were annoying but jeeze, at least get my order correct if you’re going to be such a Yankee about the non-​customer service!

Agave, related to Vittorio’s Pizza Plus, and also known as La Cocinita Latina (on Seamless, etc) should really be a 2.5 but I’ll give them a two until I am convinced otherwise. Really, Agave is hit or miss (although they’ve been mostly misses). I’ve been here a few times and nothing was consistent — not even the service.
The place is small and cozy but the front door rattles the entire place whenever someone enters or exits. The food can be amazing or the food can be destined for a landfill (unless they ran out of a staple dish before your arrival). The service can be super pleasant and attentive or the ladies could all be hiding behind the counter.
Will I ever go back? Maybe. but not for a while.

The prices are low and the food is amazing. I hear that the place was recently remodeled and renamed and the space is well utilized but still comfortable for dining in. The staff was pleasant and there is more than enough TVs to keep you occupied while you wait.
Food:
I had the Tex-​Mex burger and it was absolutely perfect. Thick and juicy patty and the guacamole was good on the burger (this coming from a guy whose not really big on avocados). All of the food tasted very fresh down to the fries. My friend had the chicken Italian salad. Grilled chicken breast was tender and juicy.
I’m definitely going to stop back by there when in Harlem.
