Was at the Javits Center for a Convention and had the chance to enjoy some lunch in the space. I generally avoid this but was being treated this time so rolled with the program. I kept my order to a standard Gyro with beef and pork according to the sign and asked for all the fixings except onions since the raw stuff seems to kill me of late. Anyway, the sandwich was very tasty and piping hot which is always nice to find being the case. Of course this required me breaking the cardinal rule of not opening the gyro and eating it with utensils but my companion didn’t have the luxury of time with this being a work event. I washed this down with a Sprite and was totally sated. I also sampled one of my friends stuffed grape leaves and that was good so they do a nice job of them as well. Be aware that everything in Javits is on the pricy side and this spot is no exception but the food was good and that is a plus. I would go here again if the need arose.
