Advanced Varicose Vein Treatments of Manhattan

The building where this medical office is located in is difficult to find even though I am familiar with this area since I used to work near Wall Street. I arrived to their office about 15 minutes early and I’m glad that I did because I was asked to fill out a lot of paperwork (the usual first time visit forms). Once I was done with the forms, I was asked to go into one of their medical rooms where my veins were checked for clotting with an ultrasound type of machine. He poured some cold gel on my legs and checked them with a flat laser «scanner» for about 10 minutes. I was seen by the doctor about 10 minutes after he was done. Dr. Lev looked at my legs and recommended that I have laser treatment done to help with my varicose veins. He also noticed the beginning of what looked like discoloration on the bottom of my legs and told me that he could help fix that also before it became much worse. Unfortunately, for me, all of the women on my mom’s side of the family have varicose veins, spider veins + the discoloration. My veins have become much more noticeable over the past 5 – 10 years and I feel so self conscious showing my legs because they make me look much older than I am. :(Before leaving, I made an appt. to get the laser treatment done. Suly (one of the receptionists) was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions and was patient even though she was clearly busy. I can’t wait until March so that I can have confidence back when I wear shorts and skirts in the warmer months. :)

Dr. Lev is truly a miracle worker. I’m glad I went for the procedure, it certainly changed my life. I highly recommend Dr. Lev and his amazing staff.

Dr. Lev has literally changed my life. For many years I hid my ugly bulging veins (even at the beach). Now I have no problem showing off my vein free legs lol. I went to see Dr. Lev for a couple of procedures on my legs and the team their was always very accommodating and friendly. Varicose Veins run in my family, so I know I’ll definitely be back. Its great to find a doctor that truly cares about your needs and health. Its unfortunate though that Insurance doesn’t always cover these procedures because even the smallest job he did on my legs, made a HUGE difference in how my legs felt.

I’ve been looking for a doctor to treat my Grandmother’s varicose veins for a couple of years. I wanted to make sure that she would get the procedure done by someone certified and not just a cosmetic clinic. I found Advanced varicose veins an am pleased with the results. My grandmother started the treatment early to be ready for the summer. The staff was professional and the doctor took his time to explain the procedure. We were in good hands an I will recommend them to more family an friends.

My experience at varicose veins have surpass all my expectations. I can not wait for summer & show off My renewed legs this has been a long wish of mine & Dr. Lev have made my dreams come true. The procedure was smooth & easier than I expected! Dr. Lev sure knows his craft!

I didn’t even get to see the Dr., so i cannot attest to his abilities, but I can say the marketing practices are questionable. As I was filling out the paperwork, I noticed I had to sign a form indicating that Dr Lev is an out of network provider. Was I in shock! It specifically says on their website that they accept my insurance. I also specifically asked when making the appointment to be sure and they said yes. Well when I noticed this statement, I approached the receptionist and she said that he «accepts» all insurance. Well there is a big difference between accepting insurance and truly accepting insurance, meaning being an in network provider. Most, if not all, doctors know this difference and will give an honest answer when asked. I urge you to check with your insurance before seeing this doctor.
