When Dr. Tesser was here, the place was awesome. This office has become a joke! Dr. DiSpaltro is a smug S.O.B., I went in to get new prescriptions for my condition and he treated me like I had nothing wrong. Isn’t his job to help people? I won’t go back there again! Dr. Tesser should have never sold his practice…

Dr. Tesser treated me when he an intern and he has now retired. I have continued with the practice and will tell you the new doctors are terrific. I have always ADORED this practice not only because of their ability to diagnose and treat but also due to the fabulous staff. Always delightful, professional, attentive and personable, they absolutely aim to please. Pleasant on the phone as they are in person, it’s a terrific practice to be a patient of.

I switched dermatologists after several visits to Dr. Tesser’s Park Avenue office in Manhattan. An unpleasant office to say the least and an extremely rude doctor. When I went for skin checks I did not feel they were at all thorough, compared to other dermatologists I have been to. But the worst thing was he did 3 rather uncomfortable biopsies on my scalp, still wasn’t sure what some spots were, and was prepared to do more. My new dermatologist, a highly experienced pro at Mt. Sinai Hospital took one look at my scalp and said the condition was absolutely nothing to worry about and nothing to biopsy. Lousy personal treatment from Dr. Tesser and lousy medical treatment. With so many great doctors to choose from in NYC absolutely no reason to go to him!!!

Absolutely the worst medical practitioner I’ve ever been to. Removed a moll for the sole reason of just making me feel like I’d done something. In and out in 5 minutes. I had to keep prodding him for information and he didn’t voluntarily say anything. As he was running out of the room I asked when I hear about the results said«Call is 10 days» without looking back. I called and they told me to call back later because of not being able to find my records. Receptionists barely regarded you as a person. Overall had zero percent confidence in his ‘screening’ and not going to the doctor at all would have at least saved me/the american medical system some money. Might not quite be malpractice, but if you’re paid to screen for something life threatening and you screen for it in a token manner, is that malpractice?

Been seeing Dr. Tesser for a decade — he’s funny and kind and remembers details about his patients, everything to make you feel at ease. Top-notch. His staff are also dynamite, especially Cindy. Professional.

Dr. Tesser is the best! He recently did a biopsy on a rash I have had for a long time. He also took care of my acne. He was very gentle, professional and spent time explaining everything to me. His staff was also kind and helpful with my 2 year old daughter. I had a very short wait in the waiting room. He has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him and will be back soon.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tesser’s for over 10 years. He is always accurate and knowledgeable and utilizes the most up to date methods with the greatest skill. The office visits are delightful, because he has had the same lovely staff in place for years — which speaks volumes about a well run business. Top quality. Top experience.

Quick and businesslike, though a poor diagnosis and treatment regimen sent me to a different dermatologist to resolve my issue. Rather rough in his biopsy work. About as warm and fuzzy as a porcupine. Saw the same PA at this and my new derm’s office and she recalled, «oh yeah, HIM…»
