I had a great experience getting my artwork framed here. The owner obviously takes great pride in his work — he was friendly, helpful and turnaround was quick! I would definitely go back.

I recently moved to the upper east side and needed 6 pictures framed. I checked out Unilocal and A&N art gallery had the best reviews. Fahim didn’t disappoint… I walked in with my pictures and was told they would be ready in 1 – 2 weeks. I received the call in 6 days that all 6 pictures were finished. He did a beautiful job and I’m so happy I chose A&N Art Gallery!

I was swapping some artwork in my older expensive frames and during the process of getting the frames from NJ to NYC and me taking them apart a few pieces of glass broke. He cut the pieces of glass for me in under a minute and I was on my way transporting them back to my apartment. Easy peasy nice and easy. The glass was actually affordable unlike the original and compared to Michael’s art supply and the other neighborhood spots. He was a nice and pleasant man to deal with. I am glad I found another framer in the neighborhood to work with.

I recently got a large photo framed at A&N art gallery. The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The finished product was perfect and the price completely reasonable! I HIGHLY recommend this shop and will now go here with all my framing needs!

You should be open when you say you’re going to be open. It’s rude to make potential customers wait for you. Just say you’re going to open at 11.

In terms of service, fantastic. The owner here is a very nice guy. I came here to get two of my precious comic book prints professionally framed. For the Upper East Side area, this is a great option for those who seek solid framing and great service. In terms of pricing, they offer options that can fit your budget. In my case, I splurged, but it was well worth it in the end.
At about $ 200 per framed print, I asked for matting and museum glass. These prints were more or less tabloid-​sized, or slightly larger. Undoubtedly, the prints looked even nicer post-​framing. The museum glass is a wonderful option for those who are willing to up their budget. It has little to no reflection bouncing off the surface of the glass and provides UV-​protection. They have a solid array of color and material options with regards to the framing itself. If indecisive, they provide opinions on what could work best with your prints/​art. In terms of pricing, it can easily get expensive depending on what you want. With museum glass, it’s going to cost at least $ 75 more per print. If your artwork/​prints are precious enough to you, you may want to consider this option.
Timing-​wise, they get the job done within a week or less. I requested to have mine done by a specific date, and they managed to follow through. All in all, A&N Art Gallery is super professional, provides great framing with timely service. I would definitely consider a return.

Just got an original band poster framed here and had a great experience. The poster has been rolled up for years and was slightly damaged (small rip at the bottom, a small stain too).
Owner is really nice, offers lots of different options. We went with a relatively inexpensive frame and it came out looking great. He picked a matting that matched the piece perfectly and managed to hide the tear for us.
Quick service too — I think a little less than a week turnaround time. I believe the frame I wanted was in stock, so he didn’t have to ship it out.

I’ve never had art framed before but my wife found A&N Art Gallery on Unilocal and we had a great experience. The owner is a very hard worker (works 6 days of the week). He is a quality craftsmen. We collaborated to find the right frame and unique treatment for large painting we had. He said it would take a week and he was right on time. Further, the owner is a really nice guy. We discussed Armenian/​Turkish culture and when I came to pick-​up my completed framed painting, he brought me a cultural delicacy from a store in Astoria! We would certainly go back.

My diploma would look way better on the wall of my mom’s house than inside the folder in my drawer where it’s been the last few years, no? Perfect Christmas gift.
I went to a different place, closer to where I live in Astoria, and not only was the guy kind of a jackass about my color choices (a bright yellow frame and green matte isn’t the most neutral but you know, go Ducks) but he seemed to think having a piece of paper framed within 10 days was this really outrageous request. So I got on Unilocal and found A&N.
Never having had anything framed professionally before, I was THAT annoying customer. «What kind of glass do you want?» «Uhh…» I always kind of figured all glass was just glass, but Fahim could not have been more accommodating. He was super patient and didn’t act like I wasn’t worth his time because my order is fairly cheap, compared to all the artwork and custom frames he sells. Awesome guy, great experience.

Framing posters and art can be annoyingly expensive and with random quality. We looked up all Unilocal reviews and based on the great reviews for quality and price decided to go with A&N. Our experience has been overall ok but somewhat of a mixed bag.
1)The owners are indeed friendly and helpful — this is to be expected though in all face to face businesses.
2)The frames were ready in 5 days. Not much of a problem for us but I wonder how much the delay in delivering frames is part of the mystique that leads the customer to believe this is advanced stuff and attempts to justify the price tag. I find it hard to believe it takes more than one hour to an experienced framer to frame a poster beginning to end.
3)The quality is ok but for the price I would have expected perfect apposition of the parts — this was not.
4)Price was rather on the high side — the quote we got from the frame shop in on our street was 25% lower but we were so fed up with shopping and just wanted the job done. I understand a shop in NYC has high overhead costs but 200 and upwards for a smallish poster basic framing still feels a bit of a ripoff — this is true for all shops in the area.
5)Their hours are more of a guideline than reality — I waited for 20 minutes after their official opening time but nobody was there and had to return in the afternoon to pick up.
Overall ok quality frames and workmanship, for average or above average market price on UES, delivered within one week. If you live around 86 street definitely worthwhile to check but would be wise to get quotes from other shops around. Does not really justifies the hike if you leave farther away.

Really glad i found this place on Unilocal!The guy who helped me (owner?) was extremely helpful, very patient, and friendly. He didn’t balk at our «limited budget» and still was just as nice while we picked out our custom frame. We finally made our choice, and it was ready for pick up 4 days later! Fast and helpful service :) i will definitely be back for future projects!

Dropped off custom 9“x12″ artwork to be matted & framed under glass (simple job), was finished in about 3 or 4 days, great price. Really nice guys, would come back here in a heartbeat for framing. What else can I say? Look nowhere else for framing, well done at a good price.

I dropped off a poster to be framed and was told by the very friendly employee that I could expect a call in 2 weeks. A few days later it was ready for me. When I went to pick it up, the man was very friendly if a little surprised by my choice in art. «That was for you?!» He was adorable. The framing is great and now all I have to do is finally decide where it will go. I would definitely use this place again.
