La pizza mas barata de new york. Se pide para llevar. Es muy rica. Lo unico en contra es que no me la dieron caliente.

Easy, cheap way to satisfy your pizza craving. Also note that they only have napkins and plates(so plastic silverware).

I dare say this is the best $ 1 slice and best pizza in NYC! I’ve tried all the classic joints and the fancy pizzerias, and I don’t think any place beats this. It’s $ 1/slice or $ 8/pie for plain cheese. If you want toppings on a slice, it’s an extra 50 cents. You can’t beat that price anywhere. They don’t skimp on the ingredients granted that you will not get gourmet or organic ingredients for the low price, but the ingredients are just as good. The pizza dough is really good! I’m usually not a big fan of crust and I will leave it on my plate. But, the crust here is so flaky and soft that I won’t leave a crumb. It’s almost like a soft bread stick. The staff working there are also super friendly! This is definitely my neighborhood go to spot. And it’s great because it’s open late!

Anytime you can buy a fresh slice of oven baked pizza for 99 cents from a NYC baker– its a 5 star right of the pan. The cheese pizza sells for that price. Toppings add to the price.

Not the best but it’s damn good and for 2 bucks, it’ll satisfy you. Where else can you get a deal like that?

TL;DR it is indeed fresh, but it’s a dollar not 99 cents. It was indeed fresh, but was it really 99 cents? Talk about a straight forward name. You can’t say you ever got tricked by this place… or can you? How important is that penny? Did i really need it? Did I really want it? If i wanted it, was it for it’s monetary value or was it the principle of the fact? I don’t know. Is that 1 cent going to make a difference in my life? Was it going to make a difference in this business’ life? Did they not want to say«1 Dollar Fresh Pizza»? Why are there so many photos here of the pizza… isn’t it all just the same? Does me giving them 5 stars or 1 star make a difference? So many questions coming from 1 penny. This place is a thinker’s pizza place. It is indeed«A-OK».

If you like pizza and you don’t want to pay for anything more than a dollar. You found the right place. The pizza here is better than you can have for most chain stores. It’s thin, rich, and delicious. Most people like cheap, but when quality meet with affordability, you will see a line outside that store. There are very good food in Ktown, but not much with this kind of price. Highly recommend for its unbeatable price and reasonable quality.

Not all 99¢ pizza spots are good ! This one is above average. Fast, hot and cheesy. Just like my ex

Second best 99 cent pizza I have had to the one on 6th avenue and W4th. Good amount of cheese and it didn’t taste half bad at all. Quite crowded. BTW, it’s a buck extra if you want a pie container, which makes sense.

How many words does a 99 cents pizza place require? Enough to meet Unilocal’s minimum limit.

Fast, yummy and superrrrr cheap pizza. Had two slices and a side for $ 2.50. My friend and I were getting ready to leave the city and stopped here for a quick farewell pizza bite. We enjoyed it in a cab ride and it’s a find New York memory. I say everyone give it a shot. That’s a deal you can’t beat!

You can’t expect much for 99 cents. But if you’re strapped for cash because everything else in the big apple is crazy expensive this place is great! Pro tip — ask them to reheat your slice in the oven or add a topping to ensure your pizza comes out bubbling hot.

I don’t think this slice of pizza can get any better for a buck! Pretty flavorful, and got a nice crunch to it compare to other dollar slices I have tried. You can get two slices and soda/water for 2.75. That’s a lunch right there. Have the exact cash ready in hand, don’t hold up the line! I do wish it had a little more tomato sauce though, but hey I am not complaining. Recommended!

Pretty standard 99 cent pizza. $ 2.75 for two slices and a drink. Cheesier and greasier than other 99 cent pizza places, which makes this location great for drunchies or guilty pleasure snacking.

So is this place worth 99cents? Seems like such a thrifty question for a 99cent lunch. Cheap pizza is prevalent, however, more often than not you’re paying for sour marinara on a cardboard crust. Good news here is that the crust doesn’t taste exactly like the box it is in. Unlike other cheap pizzerias, you get a healthy amount of cheese. In fact, you get a large cheese to sauce/crust ratio so you’re bound to get a lot of the excessive oil with it. It’s far from the best pizza or even my preferred classic NY slice, but it is worth more than the 99 cents you pay.

I was rushing to go to the movies after work and wasn’t really in the mood to stuff myself with popcorn since that it’s just like eating air. I stopped here and picked up a slice and bottle of water for a total of $ 2 which is a great deal. I love how fast the service is here since I was in a rush but I have to say the pizza was okay nothing special but hey for $ 1 I guess I shouldn’t be complaining.

I saw the sign for this place from across the street and quickly crossed the street to wait in line!(I really couldn’t ignore a sign that says 99 cent pizza, especially since I was hungry: P). it is a hole in the wall with only enough room for 4 people in line, and any more than that made the line go out the door. Since there were no sitting room, there were people eating there pizzas right outside the place. But the weather was nice, and it was under an awning so there was shade. The line moved very quickly, and at my turn I asked for plain pizza, to which the guy reached under the register and pulled out a slice of hot pizza! There must’ve been some kind of warm storage there. But anyway, the pizza was good! Fresh, cheesy, HOT(I don’t like lukewarm pizza), and pretty much a steal for the price. I added some seasonings and was good to go.

I was told while in Manhattan I absolutely had to spend less than $ 2.00 and get a real slice of NYC pizza. I picked this spot based off of it’s Unilocal reviews and because it was in en route to Bryant Park which is where I wanted to sit and enjoy my pizza. It was 99 cents for cheese and then after adding pepperoni it came out to about $ 1.50. For the price and the experience it was just right!

Hey it’s a pizza and its a $ 1. How many ways can you go wrong for a $ 1! However this pizza had a little less cheese than most $ 1 pizza I’ve had but that’s okay!

Very, very decent pizza for such a low price. I got two slices of cheese(99¢ ea.) and added sausage and pineapple(50¢ ea. topping) to both slices. Walked out paying $ 4 for two nice-sized slices that tasted just fine for the price. I saw a sign that they sell«Large 18-inch Pies for $ 8», so I may have to order an office pie someday soon. It’s a little shoebox of a place with no seating or counters, so it’s purely to-go. Recommended if you’re into pizza and on a budget.

You don’t get much for a dollar these days. Except here my friend. Their pizza is probably the best deal in town at only a buck a slice. The staff are really quite friendly people and even when the line up is packed they still manage to get your pizza to you in a quick, friendly and polite manner. Make sure to sprinkle some of those chilli peppers on your pizza on the side… yum!
