Cocktails are made with such attention to detail. One of few places I will venture into west side for. Food is amazing! It is a tight spot but that makes it even more charming. Best lobster mac and cheese ever! Although last time I went I feel like they cut some of the butter. And the brussel sprouts here are also my favorite in the city.

I went here with some friends. We had the punch. We sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly! We had some other drinks that tasted really good! Would back again!

Nice atmosphere with great cocktails. The downstairs area is comfortable and cozy. Definitely recommend the Hedonist. Although I haven’t tried the food yet, I’d guess that it’s probably good– judging from their attention to detail.

I used to really like this place, but the last time I went there, the bar tender and the waitress were unbelievably rude(and it was a slow night). My drink was terrible and when you pay that much for a cocktail, I think it is fairly reasonable to expect it to be good. I dared speak up and was practically shamed by both of them for supposedly taking too many sips of it before bringing it to their attention. Never. Again.

Sophisticated, sensual, provocative, elegant, casual and consistent. Exquisite ambiance. Staff is warm and inviting and crowd ebbs and flows with the energy if HARLEM. I’m a fan and you should be too

Excellent, sleek, and hella chill spot. Waitstaff was attentive and quick. The drinks were bomb, top notch, delicious. Get the Kentucky Blossom and the Wild Hibiscus Royals. Both were tasty as hell, clean, and sophisticated. Food = Omgg Delicious. All of it. Eat the brussels sprouts & fried chicken sliders. It’s a small space & that’s the only con. Everything else wins. Plus, it’s full of my people: brown, beautiful, and queer/queer friendly.

Drinks were excellent but incredibly slow service. There are 4 tables in the front and 4 people working! And it’s 9:30 on a Friday! We sat with completely empty drink glasses for 25 minutes unable to get a waitress’s attention. Also she brought me the wrong drink after confirming it twice(it was on their menu).

This place is a hidden gem in NYC. Leo the bar tender is the best and knows how to make drinks. He has all three aspect of a good bar tender, 1-knows the basics of mixes of drinks, 2-improvising of ingredients, and 3– showmanship, which is one of the most important aspects of a bar tender. This is a place to get a well made drink.

The first floor was crowded so we were directed downstairs where an employee was taking a nap on the seating embankment. The seats were all collapsed in the middle — you sit and you sunk down into wood. The air reeked of vomit and everything was dirty. Needless to say, we left.

We were having a great time listening to some cool old school music and enjoying drinks like the Five Point and the Up in Smoke. The bartender also listened to what my friend likes and made a cocktail tailor made to her taste. The bar was not too full and was mostly women, with the exception of a couple of dates. We used our check-in offer and had the delicious spicy elote popcorn. Later, it started to fill up and was happening. The music transitioned to contemporary hip hop. The crowd was lively and the ambiance was great. My friend and I decided to order another drink, beer. We asked the bartender for a beer, and he said okay. He was making cocktails, and the place was busy, so we expected to wait. What felt like ten minutes went by and still no beer. My friend asked the bartender again, and he said he knew. A barback came and grabbed two beers and placed them on the bar. We thought these were finally ours. The bartender was making a drink, but stopped to pop the tops. And off they went to someone else. We waited, looking at the beers in the fridge, but received no response. At this point, we just asked for the check, which arrived quickly. It was such a drastic change from the vibe earlier in the night. We were spending our hard earned money on cocktails that aren’t cheap, enjoying the music, and ambiance, and then everything changed. On the way out, I complained to the guy at the door, just to let it out. While we were on the sidewalk checking out Unilocal for another venue to go to, someone came up to us asking about what happened. It turned out he was the owner. He was not happy to hear of the shift in service, and asked us if he could make it right and get us the beer we’d been waiting on. We went back in, and gave it a second try. It turned out to be a good time, like it was in the beginning, good music, people, and vibe. We had no direct interaction with the bartender this round.

I love love 67 Orange Street. It is super tiny but cozy. The drinks and food are excellent. I had the chicken sliders and kale salad. Great portion sizes, tasty and cheap! I saw another table order the Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese and both dishes looked yummy– will have to order next time. I enjoyed the cocktail I had– definitely the quality you find in speakeasy joints. Not really a spot for big groups, but perfect for going solo or meeting up with a friend or two. Oh, and the eye candy behind the bar is a definite plus.

I used to be a big fan of this place. Went here every evening for great cocktails and their mostly delicious kale salad + jerk chicken. After my last experience here however, I will probably never come here again, especially on a day that Marcio, the bartender, is working. He is rude, something that is inexcusable for someone that works in the service industry. Your job isn’t all about serving cocktails, it’s about serving your clients and making sure they’re comfortable enough to keep coming back to support your establishment. I hate to write this negative review, because I try to go out of my way to support establishments in Harlem(seeing as I live here) but I just have to give a frank assessment of this place. If you’re not one that cares to be treated with respect, just go for the cocktails + food and blank out the rest of it.

THEBARWITHTHERUDESTSTAFF. Save your money and go somewhere else. The food is really good and the drinks are really good but that is not enough to go back to that terrible restaurant/bar. I have never encountered so many rude and arrogant service staff. First there is the bartender has really light skin and it’s from Cape Verde. He is so arrogant and self obsessed that he expects you to go out of your way to be nice and friendly to him or else he will treat you very rudely. I remember trying to place my order with him but I didn’t even know if he had heard me since he didn’t even acknowledge my presence but a little while later came and slammed the food in front of me. When I asked him why he was being so rude he said he is not here to be nice to everyone or make friends but then he is in the service business? You are not supposed to be my friend, I just want to be treated with some respect if I am paying to eat/drink at your restaurant. The other rude service staff is the bald lady. She also refuses to acknowledge customers and makes it seem like your presence is the biggest inconvenience to her. Save your money and go to another place of Fredrick Douglas like Bier with nice staff and good services because this is the RUDESTBARINHARLEM!

Everything today’s Harlem should be. Diverse, vibrant yet easy and social. A place that’ll have you sway your hips and licking your lips. Serving up apothecaries for every ailment. Bartenders that’ll put any knowledge you have of liquor to shame. The place where genuine conversations flow with strangers. Hours spent because here you’ll have no sense of time. If you haven’t passed the velvet drapes then you’re passing a part of true New York by.

I came here on thurs evening with a friend for their happy hr & I was not impressed. First of all this place is extremely small & second their happy hr are not happy hr prices. I had one drink($ 8) the chicken sliders($ 12) & the Truffle fries($ 7.50) what is «happy» about that. The chicken sliders were ok(avocado was not fresh) & the truffle fries were average with some cheese sprinkled on it. I got my food in a timely manner however my friend who ordered two orders of the chicken & waffles didn’t. It took them an hr to finally bring his order(we ordered at 645& he got it it 745& happy hr ended at 7) Once he got it his waffles were cold and after waiting so long he was over it & we decided to go across the street to Melbas. Also from the very beginning I was not feeling the vibe from my waitress(lady with shaved head). She was not very attentive & it just felt like she over being there. She never asked if we wanted a second drink before happy hr ended, never asked if we needed anything else, however it wasn’t until I said«miss when you get the chance» & she turned around & gave me a a fake«yeah yeah Ill be there in a min» I realized she had an attitude problem. I just wanted some salt & when she came over she rudely said«and my name is Alycia» and walks away. She comes back with my salt & I politely say«Alycia how would I know your name when you never introduced yourself to us». Startled she cleaned it up and said«yes thats why I was telling you». Its not what you say its how you say it and trust me she said it with an attitude(my male friend co signed). I read other reviews & ppl also have had the same experience with her(and other waiters). After that her demeanor changed immediately and she was much nicer. She was apologetic about my friends food being cold & didn’t charge us so that was cool however I just don’t know how this place stays packed/in business. I still tipped her well because I feel she must need it more than me nonetheless I knew I was going to come on Unilocal & write a review because for me customer satisfaction is paramount & if you hate your job then maybe its time to find a new one.

Cute spot! The«School’s out» seasonal cocktail is amazing! The only downside is that this place is tiny. Uptown is becoming the new downtown!

I am appalled at how rude these people were. The door guy was nice enough but it all went to crap after. There were 5 of us. Was a Friday night so yes I get it was busy. This super snotty girl with beads in her hair quickly eyed us and said there were no places for 5 people. We didn’t even ask. Nobody said hi or welcome. Nothing. Just that. She and the bartender rudely stared. So we went downstairs and there were open tables. It was claustrophobic and with her rude comment we were done. Not one bit of appropriate service. Shade and attitude. Fail. Never again.

Rolled up on this spot one weekday evening, and instantly felt right at home. Such is the vibe at this hospitable, cozy, rustic, and romantic establishment. Lionel and Marcio took the best care of us — they were sweet, attentive, and basically treated us like family. Impressive and great service! Along with bangin’ truffle fries, strong drinks, and weak prices, 67 Orange is also churning out the good times! Our motley crew was in a bit of a festive mood, celebrating the life and times of the Notorious BIG on the recent anniversary of his demise, and we humbly requested that they spin a few Biggie favorites. Wouldn’t you know it — they obliged us without hesitation! As for the food, the red velvet waffles were great as were the lobster mac n cheese and truffle fries. Dranks were creatively named, yummy(their mixology is on fleek!), and soon had our crew buzzed and happily recalling the lyrics to all our favorites. This Brooklyn girl is definitely stopping by 67 Orange next time I’m uptown. They doin’ it right!

This place is now my platinum standard when it comes to mixology. For the longest time I’ve had the counter parts in the village and China town as the clear champions but 67 Orange is a cut above he rest. Wage moment we walked in to this place the music was shut off immediately because they had no idea who we were. After we went through the rights of passage, the Amazon hip hop music started playing again. We ordered our first round off the menu but then the mixologist insisted on making us some custom concoctions based on our own personal likings. Customer service here was amazing, the mixology was on the level of the other big boys in town but this speakeasy was so much more laid back. Drinks are not cheap by any means but you do get your money’s worth. Roughly 100 bucks for two people with a generous tip. It’s money well spent.
