don’t listen to these 3-star-giving-haters out there. i’m looking at you jencen r. how stupid can you be to expect all the slices to be $ 1? this ain’t finna costco where the costs’ low. take your unreasonably high expectations and go back to washington bruh! i visit manhatty for three reasons: 1. 2 bros 2. halal carts 3. my best friend meat and in that order. edit: ann p. you can get out of here too

$ 1 for a slice of cheese pizza. It was still warm(enough) so it didn’t have to be headed up. Not the worst pizza I’ve ever had, but you get what you pay for. They did have some other slices that looked good, including some veggie and meat options.

Best dollar pizza spot so far. Been to a good handful and been eating at a bit of dollar pizza spots this week for lunch and pre-dinner. I like this place the most from all the others because of the thicker crust, the extra glob of cheese and the slices are not cheap on the sauce. I still can’t detect much milky taste in the cheese but this 2 Bros doesn’t skimp out. It happens to be a fresh slice too. I think it’s because it’s the busiest one I’ve been to due to the fact that it is by the Port Authority. It always has a short line… add points for having couple places to sit, $ 3 slice with toppings like my sausage and peppers, $ 1.75 for a pepperoni slice, $ 3 for a 2 slice+soda and of course the dollar slice. I always just a bit of pepper flakes and garlic powder. Down side and it’s not the fault of 2 Bros… sketchy folks that might approach for a hand out, I think due to the Port Authority.

Cardboardy crust, can tasting sauce and light on cheese. Plenty of better slices for cheaper in the area.

this place is right next to the dive i always go to in hells kitchen. so invariably ill run out and shovel down a slice so i can keep pounding shots and beers or of course, to save me from the pounding hangover ill have the next day. oh the places we’ll go, right shibi. haha. so i got a pepperoni slice and it was really on point. a lifesaver. i mean, honestly, some of the pizza at the bodegas in hells are such absolute trash that even something as $ 1 cheap as 2 bros to step up is a win to me. and iv definitely eaten here before in the last calendar year and i definitely did not write a review about it because its just one of those places that passes through time and consciousness, and you’re just like oooh pizza, and two dollars later, every drunk dream you had ever comes true.

The pizza was a 5-star but the signs saying pizza was $ 1 but not saying that that was only the cheese pizza deserve a 1-star. I will settle in the middle at a 3-star rating. I was digging the broccoli pizza in the display so I gave it a try. It totally works! Broccoli on pizza is amazing! They practically riced it, and put cheese, black olives, and mushrooms on the pizza too. Super crispy crust on the bottom but chewy on top. I will never forget it!

This pizza place is amazing. Fun welcoming atmosphere, open floor plan with ample seating. And the Italian music is blasting! A true New York experience. Oh and slices are $ 1.00! Delicious! You have to come here!

If you are looking for gourmet pizza with clean silverware and wiped down tables, you are not clearly not in the right neighborhood. When you’re looking for the infamous dollar New York slice, this is the spot to go. This location is conveniently located next the Port Authority which provides a nice spot for a quick bite when getting in or a late night dinner when leaving the city. For $ 2.99, you can get 2 slices of cheese and a can of soda. The slices are large and come out quick. One thing to note is that the slices with more toppings come out to about $ 2. But honestly — who cares… the slices are large and the price cannot be beat!

It’s always nice to catch a pizza or two at 2 bros pizza. It’s relatively cheap and not in quality. This time I tried something different and added pepperoni on my usual mushroom slice. Hmm some things are just best as it is lol I’ll stick with my usual slice topping from now on.

Best dollar slice in Manhattan. Hands down. Don’t go to 99cents pizza, this is where it’s at if you want to spend $ 1.

This is a pizza shop I stumbled upon while walking time square. Pros: super cheap pizza at 2 bucks a slice. Fast service Fresh hot pizza Not overly crowed Hard working employees Seating Cons: There are signs everywhere saying a dollar a slice but really their pizza is two dollars a slice. Not that I care about the extra dollar because two bucks for a slice of pizza is a great deal. It’s just a very misleading advertisement tactic. It’s the principle really. It’s very dirty They lack cleanliness while cooking

One slice was $ 1 although it was worth much more. Their music was lit. Would definitely come back again.

So I didn’t think I liked dollar pizza, I am now a true believer. The cheese is gooey, the dough is crisp, and I could eat myself sick for under $ 5!

Not sure why anyone would post less than four stars for an eatery in NYC that feeds a person for $ 2.99. Seriously, two large slices of crispy cheese pizza and a soda for $ 2.99…this includes tax!!! Buy a soda from a street vendor anywhere in NYC… how much $? A slice of pizza from this place is 100% worth the 100 pennies! You will not find a larger and tastier slice of pizza for this price. If you are looking to feed yourself, the family, or your friends you just met at the bar, stop by and pick up the cheap, crispy and delicious pizza!!!

$ 2 for two slices… Unheard of for midtown NYC. Working late, need a quick bite to eat? Cannot beat the value and quality isn’t bad. It is what it is — $ 1 slices and a stand up counter. Popular with tourists, drunks, cheap skates and hungry NY-ers looking for a fast, cheap slice. Enjoy!

As an out-of-towner that’s close enough to NYC to visit the city on a regular basis, I’ve noticed two things about $ 1 pizza places:(1) They seem to be declining in number and(2) They often have a «B» rating or lower from the Department of Health. From that point of view, 2 Bros Pizza is winner for being both a $ 1 pizza holdout and for maintaining an «A» rating. I never would have thought I’d give this place 4 stars, but there are a couple of things going for it. First, the location: Being so close to Port Authority is awesome. When I met my sister(who was coming from Philly) at Port Authority, both of us were super hungry, and she really wanted to try out the«famed» NYC $ 1 pizza. Less than a block’s walk away, we had our wish fulfilled! It’s not just the location, though — it’s the value. I decided to pay the extra $ 0.50 for the mushroom pizza(I love veggie pizzas), and it was so worth it! They loaded on the mushrooms. Granted, the mushrooms tasted like they were straight out of a can, but what more could I ask for from a $ 1.50 slice of pizza? Given the cost of mushrooms these days, the price of my pizza nearly paid for itself! Plus, as other Unilocalers have already mentioned, this pizza is actually pretty good. I definitely recommend giving it a try. And who knows, maybe the next time I’m in the city, I’ll treat myself to another slice.

The best slices in NYC don’t have to cost any more than a dollar. 2 Brothers is consistently good pizza on a budget. Any time of day they provide two slices and a soda or spring water for $ 2.75. For extra nutrition, try the slices with toppings, my favorite is their meatball slice for a buck and a half, the meatball actually has flavor and are sliced thick and generously piled up, for a three dollar dinner, two meatball slices will get you there. The crust is doughy, with a chewy consistency, crisped edges, the sauce is well prepared, full of flavor, the cheese is also generously applied, flavorful and fresh. The pies are made every few minutes, so freshness is always guaranteed. If you’re at the port authority bus terminal, go to the rear of the south terminal and head out the back doors and take a left, its right across 41st street; if you have fifteen minutes to spare, you can grab dinner on the spot or to go in a small box to take home. I highly recommend it for commuters, frugal vacationers, or even us pizza savvy native New Yorkers who appreciate a good cheap slice.
