I thought I’d update my review since it’s been well over a year since the last time. They definitely have their liquor license back and have a surprisingly decent selection of beers, if a bit spendy. Their sandwiches are still well above average and this place is always hopping. OH! They also sell lottery tickets now! One-stop shoppin’ at its finest.

Three days ago I had breakfast(at 4pm) and dinner(at 11pm) here — the staff is friendly, they’re dog-friendly(which is nice)… but they never actually talk to the customer or even make eye-contact… one guy is always on the phone, he and the chef only communicate amongst themselves while serving you. As for the food:(breakfast) I asked for my eggs over-easy but was given scrambled, and they were not at all good. I asked for bacon but they were out of bacon so they gave me sausage, it was disgusting, it was like greasy«colored, seasoned meat product» and they were out of home-fries but I didn’t want french fries so they gave me macaroni salad instead, the noodles were overcooked and it was horrifically sweet…(dinner) the roll for my pastrami/corned-beef sandwich was a little stale, but the price was just right, and the meats were pretty decent, I got a side of potato salad which was solid, and my beer was dirt-cheap and ice-cold. So – 1 star for breakfast — perhaps breakfast would be better if I had it a more appropriate hour, but they were still serving it, so if it can’t be at least adequate then it shouldn’t be on the menu, right… 3 ¾ stars for dinner… An overall average of 2 stars, I’ve had better, but would consider returning at some point.
