Go here for better-than-average souvenirs! We happened upon this gift shop, which is a couple of doors down from Café DuMonde, and bought a few great items that we didn’t see anywhere else. When I got to the airport to come home, I found myself wishing I’d bought a couple more of a particular hand-painted wooden ornament, so I called the store and asked if they could send me two more. The storekeeper looked for the items and described what she had left in terms of variations while I was still on the phone. This was on a Friday afternoon, and the ornaments were delivered to my home the following Monday morning. Can’t beat that!

Great place for high end gifts! They have beautiful wedding flutes but they were $ 180. I bought a serving platter in shape of a crown!!! Talk about amazing!!! They have cute plates, handbags, water mark items, pillows etc. in the French quarter so a definite must stop! First stop by café du monde then walk over to this place! To walk off the beignets lol who dat!!!

What’s New on Decatur is an upscale gift boutique near the French Market. Here you can find many different kinds of gifts for the people you left at home while you travel to New Orleans. They have a great collection of New Orleans gifts, including items made by Heather Elizabeth Designs, Inc., which are very unique. They also carry items such as quirky and funny cocktail accessories(napkins, glassware, etc.), stylish handbags, and other interesting accessories for your home. This is a great stop to make to find a gift for mom or the fun aunt that drinks a bit too much. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you find that special something or just chat for a few minutes.
