Found this place right near the hotel. Family had 6 bowls of phở. We were all pleased with the broth. Was very delicious. The owners said they have been there for 10 years. We will be stopping in again for sure before we leave NOLA.

i think that this is a great place and some of the better Vietnamese food in the city. It is in the food court on the second floor, and there is always a line. The staff is friendly and we always have a good meal.

It’s ok. Nothing special. Decent. Their phở broth is ok. Most dishes are a little underwhelming. I have to add fish sauce and spice to pretty much everything. But while it’s good, it’s not 5 star good and since people are calling others out for not giving the exact number of stars they want the place to have, I guess I need to do the same. I would give it a 3 but since no one else did, I need to change it myself since that seems to be what people think is right to do. Congratulations to an average Vietnamese restaurant in downtown New Orleans: three white guys think you’re 1 point above average and an Asian guy thinks you crap gold. Next time you want a place to get a higher review than others want to give, don’t. It’s a free country Kenny. Don’t be a dick.

Agree with the above… very tasty broth, tender meat and reasonably priced for inner city. Cash only… hit up the phở nam or pork vermicelli. Either way, solid lunch.

Pleasant surprise here! I was absolutely desperate on a Friday afternoon to find somewhere to eat, so I went to the food court. I had been to St. Charles Noodle before and had been advised to avoid the beef. But I went against that advice this time and ordered the Lemongrass Beef with steamed rice. It was delicious, and the portion was quite large. I work in this area, and I think St. Charles noodle might replace Singha Thai as my go-to spot when I’m craving noodle or rice dishes on the go.
