Not sure why this place shows up when I search for Restaurants on Unilocal when it is just a simple spot with coffee and no real food, just potato chips and granola bars when I visited. And an unfriendly server with psoriasis on his face, yuk. No reflection on the CAC, which is a wonderful museum.

3⁄5 solid café if you happen to be by i’m surprised this place has so few reviews. i think it’s so cute and modern, and they will throw whiskey in your mocha(made with generous amounts of ghiradelli)! it’s inside the CAC, and if i worked in the area i’d stop by more often!

Living in a city full of beautiful antiquities — architectural and otherwise, one can grow desperate for modernity, clean lines and stark spaces. Spun has this in spades. One of my favorite mantras is «a place for everything, and everything in its place.» Spun has this too. PROS: — Organic soy milk — Beautiful shop with spacious seating and a quiet, calm setting — Incredible ice coffee — Truly pleasant counter staff(John!) — Conveniently located in the CAC for any art lovers day trip CONS: — Not enough art to truly tie it in well with the museum that it’s attached to — Not enough food offerings — No convenient place to lock a bike up I really felt comfortable in this space, there a lot going for it aesthetically. It almost feels that the first priority of the shop owner was the décor and not the actual products they are delivering.
