This is the worst Smoothie King I have ever been to. It’s dirty, the employees are rude and slow and the smoothies don’t taste as they should. Unfortunately on Saturdays I don’t have time to get to another location so I forced to deal with this one. A couple of Saturdays ago I entered, there were no other customers, the employee behind the counter looked at me and went to the back. No employees came out to take my order until a line of customers had formed to the door. And the smoothie I got was so disgusting I couldn’t drink it. You know what, I’m just going to stop coming here. A McDonalds smoothie would be a better choice and experience.

close to work and fast service, they even open a fee minutes early bc they saw me waiting outside before 8:30am

I’ll say this about Smoothie King: if I ever end up moving away from the GNO area, I’m becoming a Smoothie King franchisee wherever I end up. That store would promptly be run into the ground in two weeks when I finish consuming all of the stock intended for customer purchase. I’m not just giving this location five stars, I’m giving the whole chain five stars. This location in particular always seems to have cheerful folks behind the counter, and the corporate mothership always seems to be sending out coupons in the local coupon mailer we get. There’s always something appealing to a wide variety of palettes in the standard offerings, and they have seasonal and special flavors, such as pumpkin spice and associated dark chocolate concoctions for the holidays. If you’ve never tried it, its a great alternative to fast food. Also, I love the fact that they installed two locations in the Smoothie King Center(which, by the way, Anthony Davis is the truth. Even if you’re not a basketball fan, go to a game. He’s awesome). No location is going to be perfect all the time, but the dozen or so times I’ve been to a location they’ve delivered a great product. The one drawback is styrofoam cups which will still be kicking around after the robot/zombie/Ebola apocalypse.

One of the worst Smoothie King locations I have ever been to. You’d think being near Tulane and Loyola and some nicer neighborhoods that they would have better employees and clientele but this place is pretty scary. Their prices are higher than other Smoothie King franchises. They don’t know how to work the horrible new rewards program. I order the same smoothie every time and it tastes different every time at this location. Repeat: scary clientele and terrible staff.

Another classic case of «if you’ve seen one, then you’ve seen them all». If you’re not familiar with this Smoothie King location, you’d probably drive right by it and never know it was there. It’s tucked into a small strip mall behind the Shell gas station. Just look for the Blockbuster video store and you know you’re in the right spot. For all you 40 somethings like me, the Blockbuster used to be the old«Shannahan’s» bar back in the 80’s & early 90’s, but that’s all I’m sayin about that. :-) The staff here is very friendly and thay all seem to enjoy working here. This Smoothie King caters to the Tulane University crowd as it is located just behind their campus.

while this location has improved over the years, they still need to tighten up operations a bit more. i’m a veteran of the food service industry… so, for the life of me, i can’t understand why throwing fruit, powder, and ice into a blender and pouring it into a cup seems like rocket science to some of the staff. a tall male(who i’m guessing is the manager) is the only person i’ve run across who has provided fast and efficient service.
