Price Busters is the coolest little convenience store in the CBD/​Warehouse District area. The staff/​owners are friendly and usually greet you. They have all kinds of goodies for pretty low prices considering the location. They also sell nachos, hot dogs, sausage, and TAMALES!
My family’s Mardi Gras spot is just down the Avenue and my gf and I love going here and getting the tamales during night parades. They are soooo delicious and only $ 1!
They also employ a homeless (at least I think he is. He appears so) man who can get things for you out of the display case in the back.
The only drawback is that there are occasional other homeless people in/​around who will ask for money. But they’re everywhere anyway, so it’s not so bad.
