I love this PJ’s! Every time I’ve been in there, I’m always politely greeted and the service is always fast. I can kind be a little picky about whatever I order,(usually a granita, with half the syrups, and an extra shot), but they have always made it perfect for me. They also ask me if I want the cold espresso already made, or a fresh hot brew. Doesn’t really matter to me, but thank you for asking. I love the oatmeal cookies too! I would think that all the PJ’s have the same kind, and they might… but still they are better at this PJ’s than the other ones I’ve been to. Or maybe its just because I love this location. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Nasty coffee you guys. I’m sorry… and I have tried several times. Staff is disconnected, ok place to meet but just more of a convenience thing that actual enjoyment.

The chocolate croissants are one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. Quaint little locale; it’s part of an apartment complex! Love the outdoor bistro tables and comfy couches inside. It’s a nice pit stop of you’re in the area with a few minutes to spare. Easy on street parking.

There is nothing noteworthy about this location. The temperature is always a little off… staff seems kind of disconnected. The bathrooms are big and clean. They don’t post the food prices so don’t be shocked by your 5 dollar bagel.

Great location, as it is a large open area. Very clean and crisp. The staff is very friendly and the vibe is very relaxed and quiet. There is a TV and couch in one corner area. This would be a perfect place to have a study group or just to sit outside on one of the three or four tables provided. Their frozen drinks aren’t overly sweet, love their passion ice tea and they make a good latte.

This is a PJ’s out of my way, but I like it because as compared to other PJs(esp the one at Tulane), their large is actually large. Their drinks are consistent with other PJs too. Also, it’s not an often used PJs so it’s pretty quiet if you need to get some work done. protip: check in when you’re here to get 15% off that day’s purchase.

Most expensive unsatisfying cup of coffee I have ever bought. My wife and I ended up throwing them away and walking back to our hotel to buy Starbucks… horrible!

Comfortable, uncrowded spot for a coffee break, just a short walk from the convention center, in a pretty, relatively quiet NOLA neighborhood. Free WiFi to get some work done.

This is a pretty cool place to get coffee. Located around the corner from my #1 coffee shop, this PJ’s is nice. I pass this location nearly every day, but had never been inside. In the mood for something different, I decided to give it a try. Inside there are numerous tables, chairs and even a couch. In front of the couch was a table with two different board games. Since I was alone I didn’t play any games, but I do like the idea. Service was friendly and the shop was clean. Wi-fi was free and tested 1.8 mbs download. The iced coffee is my drink of choice and their version is very good. If you’re in the lower garden district and want coffee and a place to hang out, give PJ’s a try. Note: This location opens for 6:00 a.m. which is awesome.

This is such a fancy pants PJs! It makes me wish I lived uptown. First of all, the place is huge and there is plenty of room, if you need to study or do work. They have a seating area with couches, a tv, and board games, if you want to go and just hang out with some friends. They have a diverse food selection with everything from stuffed croissants and muffins, as well as other little snacks. For some reason, a large iced coffee is 30 cents cheaper here, than at other PJs. I have no idea why, but iced coffee that costs less than 3 bucks is always a win.

This locations dubs as my office during the week! It’s hard to find, since it’s adjacent to Saulet Apartments(off to the left). The sign is way too small and if you blink you can miss it! PJ’s is your standard coffee shop, which offers a wide range of coffee, ice coffee, teas and pastries. This is a great location to work or study. The music is always low key, not blaring like Starbucks(Magazine location that’s for another review) where you MUST wear earphones just to study or walk outside to talk on the phone. I give PJ’s 4-stars not only because of their coffee, but because it’s based here in New Orleans. Today, they have grown into a franchise, but still remember their roots. PJ’s roasting facility is located somewhere around the French Quarter and on those rare breezy days, the aroma of fresh roasted coffee beans fills the air! Ahhhh! If you have a Blackberry, iPhone or Android, download PJ’s Mardi Gras App! It’s a great tool to have during Mardi Gras!
