Masquerade is the dance club/bar/lounge inside of Harrah’s Casino. Won’t ever go back there again. After experiencing the fun good time crowd of Bourbon, Masquerade was a downer. It was so pretentious. Everything you see on tv. Nice space, bars, bottles, women, but it was so pretentious it wasn’t even funny. Music was wack. And everyone gathered around the mini dance sections that surrounded the several go-go dancers, who, by the way, looked like they were so over it, and just stood and watched. We spent max 5 minutes in that place before we hauled. I don’t even think we stayed that long. If you want some fun, skip this and go anywhere else in New Orleans. It just didn’t feel true to the experience of being in such a beautiful, culture filled city.

I came here during a trip to Harrah’s Casino since its literally located inside. Its supposed to be a club or getaway from gambling with music, DJ’s, dancers and bars. Maybe it was the night I came but it left much to be desired. The dancers looked as if they were exhausted, the music was nothing new, and the crowd was simply standing on the dance floor. Hopefully the next time I go back the atmosphere will be better.

Music is good, dance floor is small sectioned off. Could be a classy place with larger dance floor, real walls minus casino tables and slots to just dance and better dress code. someone was really dancing on elevated stairs and security told him to get down, heaven forbid there would actually be dancing.

Ghetto boys wearing their Saturday night best and a large Vietnamese gang contingent dominate the scene. OK. Not really much of a scene, ten minutes was all I could tolerate. Not really a nightclub, more like a large casino lounge with a small dance floor. This could be a great club if it was actually separated from the casino and didn’t let just anyone in; but the crowd will have you thinking… I gotta get out of this place! Yes, it’s really that bad. Poor service. Bad drinks. And lots of dudes with the«you don’t wanna F with me look» make this a place to avoid.

So maybe this was just a good night for us to be there but we had a blast and it was incredible. Went on a bachelor party weekend and found out Lil Jon would be there Saturday! Sounded great for us so we saw tickets were $ 20 online($ 25 with fee included) and it being a special weekend and looking to avoid the cover we checked on VIP table pricing. Got in contact with Joe who seems to book all the VIP reservations and he worked with us and got us a section. Was there to greet us once we got in and got us set up. I have inquired and purchased VIP in a lot of different clubs and cities and let me say this was a very solid value. Instead of paying $ 175 cover entry(7 people buying online tickets at $ 25 a pop) just to get in we paid $ 575 for the VIP section which included cover entry for all 7, a decent size section with a good view of the stage and two bottles of our choice(one was not premium liquor so was a hair cheaper) Might sound expensive or the same as anywhere else but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that price actually included gratuity. Most clubs especially high end ones like this in casinos etc quote you something high like this or higher and then throw on taxes and automatic gratuity for the server. One straight forward price, can’t beat that. On top of that when we arrive I was expecting two 750ML bottles like a lot of clubs do but we actually got full size 1 liter bottles which kept 7 of us drunk as hell for sure. This was the pricing that night, it might be lower or higher depending on the night or maybe we got lucky with the size of the bottles couldn’t have been happier with the value. If that sounds like a lot to you then VIP just isn’t for you, when compared to other establishments it was a great value. In addition our server Jasmine was great, she had several other sections around us but stayed moving constantly and when our mixers would get low she refilled them before they hit empty, she was great. The door people were nice and helpful to us when we arrived when a lot of times the can be snobby and rude as fuck. Again we had a great night but it was just one night, maybe everything worked out so check it out for yourself but next time we go back I will be attending Masquerade at Harrahs no matter what event they have going on that night solely based off our positive experience this time.

As night clubs go… Meh! Not my favorite spot, but when your friends are rolling dice its the only place to get away from the casino floor.

So after I won $ 900 rolling dice my friends wanted to check out the night club, mostly because the Bella Twins were there. If you don’t know who the Bella Twins are go ahead and Google it. Fellas, you’ll thank me in about five seconds. It’s a Saturday night and some 75,000 people were in town for Wrestlemania. The type of folks who watch WWE and the type of folks who would party at Masquerade on a Saturday night are two totally different types of people. This explains my three star review. I was hoping to see lots of partying and craziness going on but instead I saw two random old dudes dance on stage. From what I gathered they didn’t roll in together but somehow they choreographed numerous dance moves for about four or five songs. They do have dancers dressed somewhat scandalous dancing throughout the club. That was a plus but with the 10:1 male to female ratio it was like watching… well, you get where I’m going with it. I’m sure a lot of good things happen there but not on the Saturday night that I was in town. I was ready to give Harrah’s some of their money back but couldn’t stay around long enough to even do so.

I think this has to be on of the coolest places to go to if you are staying anywhere in the area. The clubs is loud, full of lights and has a nice vibe and atmosphere. I would tell you to check it out if you are looking for an awesome place to spend you night life.

Once again horrible service. When we finally did get service the girl was rude. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the décor is really cool. They have an ice bar so drinks stay cold! GENIUS!!!

I like it when it first open when the crowd was much older and more mature. This club is ghetto. Drinks are ridiculously expensive.

I don’t think this place actually counts as a club… It’s inside the casino and it’s kind of just separated and enclosed by some curtains(?). There is a big dance floor and the bar is easily accessible. However, you can just walk in and out of it without any trouble and it’s just so weird… I mean, even Vegas clubs aren’t like this. That being said, the DJ that night(I went on a Sat night) was pretty decent and there were a lot of people drinking, dancing, and it also smelled like weed… There were people going crazy on the dance floor and others just standing on the sides. So if you go, have fun but watch out for creeps. Hey, if you get bored you can also try your luck in the casino and come back later… or not.

Had a chance to watch the Falcons vs. Saints game here and it was packed, this is a very huge club but, only had standing room only. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the festivities and sat on the steps. This is a really sexy place to visit.

I would not label this place a nightclub for the mere fact that, welp, it’s NOT A NIGHTCLUB! Just a big room that plays music. It just doesn’t have a night club feel.

I finally got to check out Masquerade after hearing some enthusiastic recommendations from both New Orleans natives and first-time visitors. «It’s quite a happening place past midnight.» Still, I had some reservations given that this was in the middle of a casino and would attract. well, middle-aged gamblers reeking of cigarette smoke. Surprisingly enough, I quite liked Masquerade. It’s a cheap version of Las vegas, no doubt, with tacky, tasteless décor and Go-go dancers. Nevertheless the music was BUMPIN’(consisting mostly of Top 40 hip hop) and there was AMPLE room for dancing without unpleasant physical contacts with strangers(unless you’re into that kind of thing…). With high ceilings and spacious gambling area surrounding the dance floor, I could have fun without feeling clausterophobic. It’s the first time I left a club after 3+ hours spent there without feeling sweaty and gross. Security personnel patrol the casino area so, say whatever you may about the crowd, it’s safe and fun if you’re in a good company of people. And if your stomach is rumbling after a hard night of partying, you can buy Fuddruckers burgers, hot dogs, and even Starbucks through the wee hours of the night without having to leave the casino. Taken altogether, I quite liked the venue. so much so that I commented to my friends that our school should host a party here. But sorry, it would be a private event.

If you’ve been to good night clubs in Vegas casinos this is just so pathetically sad… They really could have at least made this its own separate area so it would somewhat more resemble a «club» instead of just another bar in the casino. They have go go dancers in cages but what began with a lot of hype is an epic fail and I hope whoever designed this concept is ashamed of themselves. It isn’t that hard to build a nice club environment inside a casino as you’ve already got multitudes of successful examples in Vegas of which NONE of them resemble what they did with Masquerade.

Not so much a «club» as it is a fancy casino bar. I don’t know what goes on during the week, but on Friday and Saturday night at 10, they turn the music up and have gogo dancers. They also have a VIP section, which is just a little quartered off section of the club. There’s really no where to dance, so I think that calling this place a «club» is being generous, but it isn’t a bad place to hang out if you have some friends in the casino and you just want to get a drink.

My friends and I got tricked when one of the floorstaff in the casino told us «yo it gets crackin with your kind on Saturdays at masquarade» so stupid us we came the next day to find out its just another section of the casino where they turned off the lights and play loud music. There is a full bar and gogo dancers but it’s just a weird setup. Not my idea of a club at all what a waste of time.
