Sno-cones!!! Cant go wrong. Cute little spot. Nice people behind the counter. Interesting how they also serve crawfish and nachos and hot dogs and nbq shrimp and such. We were certainly intrigued.

This is a nice little snack shop that specializes in snow balls and ice cream while also offering more substantial fare like hot dogs, sausages, Ya Ka Mein, tamales and cheese fries. They also had a sign advertising this place was the home of bbq shrimp and crawfish nachos but I didn’t see those actually for sale. The really cool thing about this joint is that they offer a snow ball flavor of the week special so you can get a large flavor of the week for just $ 2(it was strawberry kiwi on my last visit). The line here is typically much shorter than at the other snow ball joints. The ice is the ok Snow Wizard type(but not as good as Hansen’s) and the flavors are the standard pre-made variety. Definitely an interesting little spot to check out when in this area of Magazine.

I wasn’t surprised that I couldn’t find a listing for this little shack. It looks a lot like the snoball huts that you may have grown up with EXCEPT that while I was getting my first snoball of the season… which I totally deserved after buying more stuff at Harry’s Ace up the block… the guy behind me ordered a hot sausage something. And it advertises hot tamales and yakamein, so it covers all the NOLA street food bases. It also seems to have soft serve ice cream. Seriously, how do they have all this stuff in a shack? My guess is magic. So on to my snoball, the lemon lime was tart and delicious and I noticed their snoball machine is a snow wizard so the ice was good too. Will definitely stop again when in the neighborhood.
