Friendly service, and really good chicken and andouille gumbo! I haven’t tried the smoothies yet. It’s a walk up window on Carrollton, so parking can be difficult, hence the subtraction of a star.

Somewhat a skeptic about smoothies cuz I find Smoothie King offensive… I finally tried Lemonade Parade and so glad I did!! The best, best, best, best and your body feels good, good, good after gulping down one of their smoothies! All fresh real fruit ingredients! And. you can get avocado in your drink, too! And, spirulina! Super healthy, super tasty drinks. Staff is super awesome and happy to educate you on the ingredients if you want to know something! Best hangover remedy in the city!!! Best daytime liquid lunch on the go!

Snowballs: 1.They take forever to make snowballs 2. The ice is HARD. Like i have had to stab it withmy spoon to get a piece off. Butt this is one of the ony places that has snowballs when other stands close down.

The food is ok but the snoballs are seriously lacking compared to the New Orleans standards set by pandora and plum street.

I highly recommend getting their smoothies and I’ve become addicted to the grilled cheese. I get on sour dough with American cheese, bacon & jalapeños. It’s so good!

I love Lemonade Parade! It’s in an ultra convenient location on S. Carrolton Ave. As a student, I can see how this place can look a lil pricey if you’re strapped for cash. However, it is 100% worth it. Whenever you go, make sure you try their prickly pear lemonade. I’m pretty sure this is the only place that serves it in the area. The tamales always taste fresh and their hot dogs are of good quality. I’m looking forward to trying their snowballs, as Plum Street is always closer whenever I’m craving one.

I got the blueberry sno ball with sweetened condensed milk topping, mmm. I highly recommend this place for a refreshing treat and you have to have a sno ball while you ‘re in Nola. They also have fruit shakes and smoothies plus sandwiches and tamales, so it’s a little more than your average sno ball stand.

Luv this place! I always get a grilled cheese with cheddar and bacon on wheat and a prickly pear lemonade! They are always trying new things! Try the yogurt snow cream! Delicious! They have candy apple for your snowballs! They have a new menu so go check them out!

They’ve got a great smoothie for five bucks, and they also have really weird specials that aren’t really befitting of a smoothie place. You know, stuff like beans and rice.

I always try a new flavor each time I go in. My friend Terri tried the Lemonade Parade thinking that it had a lemonade flavor. She at three bites and sent me back in to see if she could get another. She’s pregnant btw so here palate is very sensitive. I was told that, «not for free» so I turned the corner and threw it away! She won’t be returning… I will I think.

They have substitute tamales, not quite as good as Manuels, but they fill you up fast.

Who doesn’t love a good lemonade stand?! These have the tastiest lemonade in the city. Mmm… It’s perfect on a summer afternoon. They also have smoothies and food there as well. If you’re thirsty, check out Lemonade Parade!

I have only had the snowballs but I was impressed. Its hard to go wrong with ice and syrup. If you are in the area is would stop by and grab a snowball.

I love Lemonade Parade! What’s better than a cool, freshly squeezed beverage on a hot day in the neighborhood?! I love the simplicity of their plain iced lemonade, it usually never lasts the 3 blocks back to my house– it’s that good! They also have a wonderful selection of fun coffee drinks and smoothies named after New Orleans songs and events. Let me just say all in all, darn cute and tasty!

You’ll miss this place if you’re not looking for it, I certainly had no idea they’d been there for so long(more than a year at the time of this Unilocaling) when I first noticed them. I can only attest for the smoothies but they’re GREAT. Not Jamba Juice great, mind you, for that is a level of greatness unparalleled by most things. I daresay they may give them a run for their money, however. They’re all cutely named after kitschy aspects of local culture. My favorite is the Basin Street Blues, a blend of dark berries that’s intensely flavorful without being too sweet.

For a place called lemonade Parade, they sure do have some bomb ass hot tamales! Go get some, they are as good as Fat Mama’s in Natchez. I just wish they’d sell Knock you nekkid margaritas like at Fat Mama’s instead of those non-alcoholic drinks. Fresh squeezed lemonade, strawberry lemonade, smoothies and tamales. Yup.
Oh, and maybe they have the liquid crack fake cheese Nachos too. I swear I recall a poster saying, «try our crack cheese nachos». But nope, crack is whack, Bobby. I usually come here after my big weekly grocery store trip from the Rouses, for a little treat after hauling home 45 freakin bags of groceries. Crack cheese isn’t ment to be eating while you are driving down Carrollton, checking in with one hand, drink in the other, knee on the steering wheel.
