I was astounded by this place. This place is absolutely terrible. I had a massage, which honestly, was more of a body rub down. I’ve had many massages in my life, and this one was a pathetic joke. Also, I paid for an hour, I expect to get an hour of massage time in. My masseuse ended it at least five minutes early, and that was only after I checked my phone when I went to the bathroom after I paid. So probably ten minutes early, maybe more. The worst part was that I could hear EVERYTHING from the room. The music was christmas music(not relaxing, whatsoever) and the sounds from the lobby were clearly audible. I couldn’t relax because all I could hear was cackling from the front room. I also had a manicure done here. HORRIBLE. They have you sit in chairs and then balance a pillow on your lap. This is a terrible idea for so many reasons. There’s no stability! It’s also pricey and a waste. The girls at the front could step up their game. They don’t treat every customer the same, clearly giving some customers more perks than others. I wasn’t offered any type of water or anything. Do not come here.

They cannot do a gel manicure here. They do not have the training nor the equipment to do gel. They need to take gel manicure off their menu. Mine was so bad that after 1.5 hours of trying the manicurist told me there would be no charge and quickly ran away. The polish that was on sluffed off within the hour. My nails have never looked worse. The receptionist just smiled and said«No Charge!» and I walked out. I have never written a review before but I thought I needed to save other gel lovers their time and nails…

I am only giving 1 star because you can’t give 0 stars. This was the worst spa experience I have ever had. 2 painstaking hours for a pedicure(mediocre) and the worst manicure I’ve ever had. It was very obvious the manicurist had no idea how to do a gel mani. I have no idea how she looked at the finished product and thought they looked in any way acceptable. My friend had a similar experience right next to me, so it wasn’t just the manicurist I had. At $ 85 for a gel mani and pedi, I will NEVER go back here.

I haven’t had a spa treatment there but I did go in to buy several expensive products. The receptionist did not have a clue about their product lines. One thing I wanted was a jan marini night cream— she kept trying to sell me something with sunscreen. I just went over to the shelf and found it myself. Returned recently and they’ve improved– but no near the quality of EARTHSAVERS.

A little pricey for what you get. I got a half hour Pedi and they give you a heated neck wrap. It’s delightful and that was a good Pedi. But I must say I got the Age Defying Mani and was totally underwhelmed. I guess I’m spoiled in Los Angeles, cause what I get there, is way more for less. I didn’t really even get a special treatment on my hands. Just a 2 min hand massage and my nails painted. That was it. Bo-Ring! My mani did last for almost 2 weeks.

Le Visage is by far the best spa in New Orleans. I am a super-tough critic, have lived all over, and no one I’ve been to anywhere rivals Nora and the women of Le Visage. They give perfect manis, pedis, facials, waxes, etc., and have been at it for many, many years. The spa is beautifully decorated and perfectly relaxing. Kudos!
