Escape My Room With Your Fellow Elites

Super fun time with some fellow elites! I can’t give any clues away, but I think the whole thing is put together really well and it’s a great time. Morgan also brought us some treats!
The staff was super enthusiastic and seemed like they really enjoyed their job. Highly recommend this activity.

Wow, that was a highly-​oddly-​fun-​entertaining time! What a great idea for friends, family, or even company team building. Myself and 3 fellow elites endeavored to escape my room. At first, I thought no way we are going to figure any of this out. But low and behold we did! Fun puzzles and clues along the way and good New Orleans themes interspersed throughout. As a manager of a few folks, I am going to see if I can receive approval to bring my direct reports and peers as a team building event. The hour goes by quickly and it’s all you think at the time — so afterwards I gotta say, I was very relaxed. Thanks to the excellent hosts and to Morgan F. for putting on a fun event. I will return when «the room» moves to a new location. Also be on the lookout for additional rooms with new themes. Fun time!

I had never experienced anything like this before, and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it! The lady who helped us was very much in character and seemed to enjoy her job. I particularly enjoyed the hats and costume chest with things to borrow from the hostess.
I don’t want to say too much about the escape room out of fear of giving fun facts away, but I do want to say I loved the mystery of it all! I can’t wait to see what new things they add on when they move to their new location.
As in her usual Unilocal-​tastic fashion, Morgan treated us to some delicious cheeses, sandwiches, and cookies. I have a weakness for cheese!
My only suggestion might be to suggest a Benadryl or Zyrtec to those who have allergies. Old ladies’ knick-​knacks do seem to gather a bit of dust. Very true to the scenario, of course.

One of my favorite things about being a Unilocal Elite is getting invited to try places that I never even knew existed and this was exactly that sort of fun experience! I was completely unfamiliar with the ‘room escape’ as entertainment phenomenon. Now I know.
There is a loose back story, in this particular case it was based on the DeLaporte family, and there are loads of hidden clues that lead you to puzzles which then open up more puzzles which then lead you to your eventual ‘escape’. There is a one hour time limit and they will let you out whether or not you figure out all of the clues, but apparently our team was in the top 30 percentile because we made it out… in the last 60 seconds even… shooooo. It was close but WE DID IT!!! Thanks Morgan & my fellow Elites teammates, it was FUN!
