This place is actually called Mr. Jacks now and Jack, the owner is probably the nicest older gentlemen I’ve met. He took his time with my hair cut and did an amazing job. I’d be a regular here if I lived closer.

Don’t be fooled by the 1970s décor or how old you think Ernie might be. He’s right on top of the trends and knew my nyc fashion forward cut right off, then executed it flawlessly. I’ll be back every time my travels. bring me to Nola. Cheers Eddie!

This place is amazing.
Ernie is an old school Barber who does not take any shortcuts. He takes his time with the cut and does it right.
I have had many haircuts in real fancy placed that cost a premium. But this place beat all those.
This is the real deal people.
Appointment recommend but you might be able to walk in and get a spot.

Nice guys. But by far one of the worst haircuts I’ve had. I feel bad writing bad reviews because it messes with people’s business but if you’re looking for a fade, this is NOT the place to go to!

Walked in off the street with no appointment, was just looking to get cleaned up and I couldn’t bring shaving stuff on the plane. They were a little busy but they made time for me. I got a haircut from Jack and then a hot shave from Ernie. They are friendly guys who do good work in a no-​nonsense setting. Very happy with my experience.

Ernie is a nice man and a skilled barber. Nice old fashioned barber shop, quality cut with hot shave for $ 20. Highly recommended.
Ernie strongly encourages appointments but, walk-​ins are also welcome.

Close to the Marriott, this place is a nice little old school barber shop. If you’re a guy, this is the place to go. Two older gentlemen work here and they know what they are doing.
