I can’t give that thorough of a review, because they wouldn’t even let us in, despite the fact that we were guests at a birthday party being held there. There were two lines to get in. We were told one of them was for people on the guest list, so we got in that line. But they never let anyone in from that line. When I went to talk to the bouncers about why they were only letting people in from one line, they instantly became hostile and unprofessional. They said there was no difference between the lines(after we were told we were in the guest list line). He wouldn’t provide or attempt to find any explanation for why no one was being let in from the other line, refusing to talk to any of his coworkers or entertain our questions at all. After waiting there for 20 – 30 minutes without anyone being let in from our line, which was allegedly the same as the other line from which people were being let in, we just left. Clearly, I would discourage anyone from attending this club because of the rude and incompetent staff. And I’d even more strongly caution against having any events there, because in cases like this, they won’t even let your guests in! What a waste of your money.

I have never ever come here during the day. So I am strictly reviewing the night club scene. I only come on Saturday nights because they host a kick-ass Latin night. Sometimes I just want to let loose and dance. This was the place to do it. There’s a good mix of people… lots of Latinos and caucasians, etc. So I know for a fact that white boys can dance! There are professional dancers that come on those nights and show off their awesome salsa moves. I think I’m intermediate… so when I get asked to dance by a real salsa dancer, sometimes I mess up… but it’s all about the fun. It’s been a while since I’ve gone, but I can’t wait to go back and check it out.

I didn’t eat here, which judging by the reviews was a good thing. We were looking for a spot in New Orleans to watch a game. We sat ourselves and all I can say is this sports fan thought immediately it just didn’t feel right. We left for the sports bar across the street which had terrible service.

I was at Voila during Jazz Fest to listen to a friend’s brother play some excellent tunes, and even though I didn’t have a drink that night, the atmosphere was calm at 9:30 — 10:30 and the numerous couches and chairs were comfortable. The sound technician wasn’t overzealous with volume, and the people I was with had some good local beer.

While I understand we were a large group(11 women on a bachelorette party), I was surprised at the lackluster service. The restaurant was not busy at all. They forgot to bring out two entrees and were slow to take any drink orders.

The oyster po-boy was pretty good, but they had to recook it because a server gave the first one to a different table by mistake. However, they didn’t recook the other food, which was stone cold by the time we got it. It all took forever to get to our table. Service was very slow and the server never refilled our drinks or came by to check on us. The music was crappy — the same weird beat over and over for almost the whole meal. They cater to the sports bar crowd, but don’t have any beers on tap — only bottled beer.

This place was absolutely awful. The entire staff was a mess, we waited for 5 minutes to be seated as numerous employees walked by us(we should have walked out then). I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and asked for the sauce on the side. When it arrived, it was smothered in sauce, which was also super spicy. If that’s your thing, you might think it was great, but I thought it was awful. Also the bottles for the condiments were dirty, like with dried crusted bits on the top. It wasn’t a very good place to watch the game because the projection screen wasn’t working very well and there are like 4 screens built in at 45 degree angles, which was really awkward. Do not go here, it’s terrible!

The first thing that I noticed when I sat down was that it took a full 15 minutes to even be acknowldged by our server. It then took me asking 3 times for them to put the football game I wanted to watch on one of their tvs. Follow that up with horrible food, and the fact they wouldn’t give my table it’s own check because we knew the people next to us(they said we were in a group and didn’t split checks), and you have a recipe for disaster. The service in this plce is the absolute, hands down, worst I have ever had. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings. 20 minutes later what I got was 2 hockey pucks on a stale bun(note: they tried to mask the staleness by charring the buns to within an inch of their lives). I also got fries instead of the aforementioned onion rings. The burger was completely overcooked and underseasoned. Wow. When these issues were brought to the attention of a manager(or head server? She never specified her position) the only thing she offered to do to compensate for our experience was to take the soft drinks off the bill. When the check came she didn’t even do that. The last thing I’ll mention is the tv situation. They have 4 tv’s on the wall that are tilted at a 45 degree angle. Whoever the genius was behind that design decision needs to find another profession. Maybe take up chiropracty to fix some of the neck sprains those rediculous things cause. I agree with the other reviewer… If you go after reading this you deserve what you get.

Stopped in around 11am on a Saturday. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was quite good. Their lunch menu consists of mostly typical bar food, burgers, nachos, fries, wings, and some not-so-typical New Orleans seafood favorites. The breakfast menu has a nice variety of omelets and the usual breakfast suspects, many with NOLA influence added to liven things up. I ordered the crab omelet, which was stuffed with crab cake, then topped with a delicious creamy sauce. The eggs were fluffy and light, and there were chunks of crab inside and on top. The plate also came with a side of grits and a biscuit, to round out that«Southern flava». I can tell this place would be a good spot to hang on Sunday, if you’re a football fan. There were a couple of local radio personalities there doing a live broadcast, and they certainly have no shortage of TV screens(even some at odd angles!). The also have about 12 nice comfy looking easy chairs set up in front of the main projection screen. All you need is your remote! In addition, they have a full bar, and looking at the ceiling, a nice dance lighting setup with a DJ booth in the corner, and a dance pole opposite. There is a mezzanine overlooking the floor below, which appears to have loung-style seating a-plenty. This place is probably jumpin’ at night!
