First time to New Orleans with no idea about any of the tour groups, but the Haunted Pub Tour sounded like it would be fun. Had Gina as our guide and she was AMAZING! Great personality and a wealth of information about everything. Truly a great experience.

I went on a Bloody Mary Cemetery tour Labor Day weekend. This is not your typical cemetery tour offered on every corner of New Orleans. Bloody Mary is extremely knowledgable and makes you engage the entire tour into your spiritual awareness. It was the last tour of the day and I was in a group of three, so we got a very intimate tour from Mary. When you book your tour online, you will get an email with instructions on where to meet Bloody Mary. In this case, she picked us all up at a bar in her mini tour bus which was air conditioned — THANKGOD! I am not sure if she always does pick you up and drive the whole tour — weather permitting of course — she may have patrons walk half way through the tour. We visited three different cemeteries, the first was my favorite; Metairie Cemetery. Absolutely GORGEOUS! This is the wealthiest cemetery in the area and even Anne Rice has a tomb waiting for her here. Mary had us get out of the van and take a walk around the cemetery and asked us to tap into our psychic senses at Madame Josie Arlington’s tomb — which has been renamed to the ’ Morales’ tomb because of all the attention it was getting in the past few years. Bloody Mary was born and raised in NOLA and is very knowledgable of the city and culture of the town. Bloody Mary answered tons of questions I had about local lifestyle. I learned a lot of about New Orleans in the two hours we spent together! Overall, I really enjoyed my tour and it was very authentic — way better than any tour I have been on in the French Quarter and I have been to Nola four times! Ireally wanted to check out her tour to the Saint Louis Cemetery No. 2 but it was completely booked — but I would definitely try and go the next time I am in New Orleans. I recommend Bloody Mary’s tour to anyone who is seriously interested in the paranormal and rich history of NOLA.
