So for the Unilocal Spring Break Saturday event, I was walking around checking out all the litlle galleries. Whats cool about this is that theres no admission, free drinks, and a wide variety of art to look at. Now its not like a huge gallery where you need to spend a lot of time but small enough to kinda hang out and appreciate the different pieces. For someone who is an out of towner, this was a nice little local treat to experience.

I love coming to this tucked-away gallery for the Second Saturday gallery hop. There’s a courtyard when you enter the gate where you can stop and mingle. Just to the left is the gallery. The art exhibits change all the time and they keep getting stranger! I’ve seen handmade tiny fairies in the tiniest of jars, taxidermied animals, exquisite music boxes, and even a large device with which to see yourself from both sides(a complex series of mirrors surrounding a chair) A must-see on Second Saturday! I’m not sure of their hours, but you can usually hear when they’re open because of the mechanical windchime/gong/gadget with dulcet, inviting,(only slightly haunting) tones in the courtyard.
