I had no idea this was a thing. Apparently every Thursday it is a thing! Good trucks rotate out every week. I ate at 3 Brothers Kitchen. It is a Southeast Asian inspired truck. The curry chicken I got was a perfect combo of flavor and texture. The chicken was lightly fried but super crispy and covered in a savory curry sauce served with a side of rice and the Mexican Coke in the bottle I bought. All for about $ 12.00…in stuffed and I still have some for late. There are also the Caribbean Spice truck and the Crispy Finger Licking Addictive fried chicken truck and the cream puff truck with a very long line. Lots to try! I guess you can check out the lineup at

Wow. That sucked. That’s the best I can say. Here’s what I had: 1) Carribean Chicken(jerk) with rice and black beans and fried green plantains. $ 11.50!?? Passion fruit drink in cup with ice. $ 3.00 Grade: D 2) Lobster roll with mostly nothing else in bun except lobster. $ 14.00. Grade: F 3) from«Whip Out» Chicken Slider, Beef Slider, water bottle. $ 12.50 Grade D– Total: $ 41.00 for shit food. From a food truck? The review before said vendors were better before. Well guess what? The good vendors don’t want to be associated with the bad vendors. That’s my guess. For $ 41.00 for crappy food I definitely won’t give it another chance. Want a better chicken SW? Go to chickfila.

Very mixed bag, so far, but willing to give it another try. One week, 8/21, food was excellent, choices diverse, service speedy, friendly, cheerful, and efficient with surprisingly low prices and large portions. Had several excellent items, from 4 different vendors, for less than $ 15/total. Enjoyed it immensely. Had a great time; left feeling satisfied and pleased. Following week, 8/28, completely different food truck line-up and different experience all-together Gave up on several vendors because their service was so abysmally slow. Purchased from 3 different vendors: each item barely warm, portions small, tastes mediocre and prices at all vendors seemed about 3x higher than vendors from previous week. Left feeling disappointed and ripped-off. Additionally, I don’t know what happened with the venue on 8⁄28 but the trash cans(and there were very few of them; just the regular shopping center cans) were stuffed to overflowing by 7:00 and the temporary/additional recycling and composting bins that had been present the previous week were non-existent. Did the promoter forget to supply trash and recycling bins this week? I’m willing to give it another try or two. And perhaps it was because I had such a GREAT experience on 8⁄21 that, by comparison, 8⁄28 was such a disappointment. But if it turns out that the 8⁄28 experience is more typical, I won’t be back.
