Marin Coffee Roasters

As a long time customer, I have to point out (although I have a new car now) that when their coffee cups were falling apart, and the coffee spilled ALL over my cars seat, my leg, and carpet of the vehicle, numerous messages left for the owner; Tim went unanswered. To this day, he’s never once apologized or acknowledged what happened.
Also, some of the staff needs to be more cheerful and smile, engage with customers.
There’s no consistency lately with the temperature of the coffee; and yesterday, I ordered a large white mocha with a pump of caramel — was charged extra (which is silly) and as I went to take a sip, I had to tip the cup half way before I could get to the coffee — it was half filled with whipped cream; for five bucks. This isn’t the first time — but, this is still my go-​to place for coffee, it was just time to update my review.

First off let me start by saying that I have been a loyal customer here since I’ve started college, so for about 3 years now. I have been dreading writing this review as I really like their coffee and pastries, and also a percentage of my bill is given to The Marin Humane Society. Unfortunately today was the last straw for me. Today I was getting coffee as I usually do on Sundays before work, the heavy-​set hispanic lady puts one foot out of the coffee shop and doesn’t even greet me, she yells «yeah?» and doesn’t walk over to my car as the other employees usually do with a nice smile on their faces. This isn’t the first time this has happened, her attitude towards me has always been SO disrespectful for a very long time. I have no complaints about their drinks and food, everything is delicious. There is also one employee with green eyes and curly hair who is just the sweetest, she always greets you and gives you your order in a timely fashion, and a young man who has dark hair, he’s really professional and nice all the time. I’m not sure if I will continue to come here and constantly be disrespected by this lady, she always puts a damper on my day, it’s really not good service.

Every time I go to Marin coffee roasters the coffee is fresh and hot. The service is great and the food is also. Need I say more?

Let me start by saying their coffee is good. Unfortunately their coffee cups SUCK! I have had hot coffee drip on my hand, lap, and car cup holders. Speaking of hot coffee, it’s like freakin lava! I have to let it sit for a good 30 mins before I can drink it, isn’t there a certain temperature it cannot exceed? It’s a shame, I like their coffee but might have to go somewhere where the cup won’t melt by the time I get to work.

Love love love their coffee. They roast their own coffee beans. The owner Tim is the nicest guy around. Couldn’t be happier with having this amazing drive though right down my street.

The coffee is good when they get your order right. The convenience is what brings me back. Some of the staff are really friendly others are quite rude. Almost every time I am there they make a drink for the person behind me in line before they make mine or even take my order. And 80% of the time get the order wrong. I should take my own advice and stop giving them my money huh?

Coffee tasted kinda old and the lady at the window seemed kinda rude when i asked if i could get a new one made fresh. Maybe i just caught them on a bad day most reviews are good ones but that was my experience.

It is drive thru coffee that is quick. They have iced coffee that is amazing for $ 2. That is awesome. And I have always had great service no mAtter how busy they are. They are always patient, quick, and cheerful! What more can you ask for when the coffee is fantastic as well?!? Oh maybe later hours? More of their kind of store. About it

I love coffee roasters. The girls and guy that work here are some of the best baristas. plus its drive thru, what else can you ask? Rachel, Crystal, Christine, Claudia too, just a great group of young people. Starbucks can take a page…
My absolute favs are Rachel and the sometimes Christine. This store is so personable compared to the other store, My favorite drink they know and they do a amazing Italian Soda. A+++ to a good staff and better product. Vice versa lol

I like to support shall business and this is a nice little coffee stop! They have a drive through and that’s so convenient! The coffee is terrific and the staff is friendly. They have a few food items to choose from and may benefit from a slightly larger selection. Otherwise excellent job!!!

Well… I really wanted to like this place. Just so I don’t get flamed by this place’s rabid fans, I will say that the people here are very nice and the drive-​through thing is nice if you aren’t looking for a place to enjoy your coffee.
Did I mention the staff was very nice? Anyways here goes…
Cappuccino Review
Flat white? Blank stare, which to be fair, it’s a pretty obscure question unless you really know your cappuccinos. Traditional cappuccino? Nope, they start at the 12oz size just like at Starbucks and every other non high-​end coffee shop.
