Clarice is the best! I only let her touch my eyebrows and have been going to her for many years for facials and eyebrows. She’s like a second mom; always so sweet and kind. I love coming in as it is so quiet and cute inside her place. She’s is the best at what she does and every experience is always wonderful.

Very cute salon, got a Brazilian wax here first visit and clarice made me feel super comfortable and welcome. I’ll definitely be back !

I’ve been going to Clarice for years, and I can’t think of a single experience that was excellent. She is a blast to talk to, is as nice as they come, her studio upstairs is cozy, attractive, clean, and inviting, and it always just feels like a treat every time I go to see her. I’d recommend her to anyone, and would never go anywhere else.

Can’t imagine going to anyone else for my «beauty» treatments. Clarice is very professional, takes her time to do a great job but can also get me out of there in 20 minutes if I am seeing her on my hurried lunch break — which I appreciate.
She is also super smart and savvy about skin care — what works, what does not or even some tips and tricks.
And she is also just a really nice, classy lady — going to see Clarice is ALWAYS a treat that I look forward to.

Clarice’s really great! I came to her for a wax, she was super efficient, and mostly painless because she has such a quick hand. Her suggestion of two extra strength Tylenol also probably helped.

Clarice is awesome! I am extremely picky about my eyebrows. She does the best eye brow shaping with a tweeser. I get complements all the time. Her place is very clean and comfortable.

I have been a client for almost 10 years – going to see Clarice every 5 weeks is the best thing I do for myself. Her salon is immaculate, she is completely professional and while I am with her she gives 100% of her attention to my needs! (No one else EVER does that!) She does total skin care, including checking for skin cancer — she found something that my doctor had missed, and kept after me until I went to the dermatologist – thank God for her, because it was caught early. She did my makeup for my daughter’s wedding, and it was a great experience — I felt pampered and not too heavily made-​up, and I got so many compliments. I have recommended her to everyone I know — she is truly a treasure!

I’ve been going to Clarice for almost a year now and my skin has definitely improved as a result.
As I’ve gotten older my skin has become less able to process the junk to which it’s exposed – make-​up, pollution, moisturizer, sunblock, etc. The residue from all that crap seems to end up in tiny deposits under my skin that defy my inexpert attempts at removal. No one warned me about this but I’ve surveyed my friends, and it seems to be one more charming and endearing thing about aging. Sporadic appointments with Clarice have brought my complexion back to smooth and even.
So while I was under her spell last week, we talked about other things I could be doing. A friend had recommend glycolic peels and I was curious about it. According to Clarice, there is some down time associated with it, i.e., about a week where your skin gets red and then peels. Some people do this monthly. That’s great if it fits into your lifestyle but I don’t want to look like I’m recovering from a sunburn 25% of the time. At this point, it’s safe to say glycolic peels are not for me.
Instead, I opted for a cheaper, quicker treatment: eyelash tinting. She just put the tint on while she performed her other magic – head, neck, shoulder, upper back and hand massage included — ahhhhh… – and, voila! My eyes have more definition and oomph. It’s especially nice for me because I don’t ordinarily wear mascara.
Thanks Clarice! Here’s to fighting the good fight and doing everything we/​you can – short of going under the knife – to age as gracefully and beautifully as possible.

Clarice is a total pro. Her salon is beautiful, clean and inviting. I went in for a microdermabrasion and facial. Clarice took so much time with me and was super thorough. She is gentle but doesn’t miss a thing. She really knows her stuff. When I was done, I felt like a million bucks. She is on Grant Street but upstairs, so don’t miss her!

Clarice is simply the best. Her salon is warm and cozy; relaxing and rejuvenating. She pampers you and makes you beautiful. Prices are very competitive and the results are extraordinary! Don’t miss this hidden gem in downtown Novato!
