My son Anthony who has food allergies and an immune deficiency, as well as asthma, is entering his second year of preschool. I really think the entire staff in this facility has been an amazing asset in my effort to foster Anthony’s independence and growth. He loves being there, is able to be confident and feel safe there, and the sense of inclusion he feels is unparalleled; not to mention the ease with which I am able to communicate with staff regarding his needs. I am often asked for feedback regarding policies and procedures that may affect my son’s health and success, and am invited to train teachers and other staff on the proper use of emergency allergy treatment. The stress I don’t feel when leaving him with you is not something often felt by an allergy mom.

This is a great place to bring your toddler — 12 year old. Indoor museum with kid friendly animal displays. Outdoor vegetable garden, chicken hutch and musical forest. They have a farmer’s market on Sunday afternoons through mid-​October.
Summer camp and year round school is reportedly very good.
YMCA members get free admission beginning in September 2013.
