They have decent food, I constantly get their soups with pan de Bono. But I had their steak it wasn’t good at all. Also one of the waiters is very rude, it’s an older lady, had to let her know about her self. I feel if your not a people person you should have a waiter job.

Food is average. But the service is horrible. I tried it a couple times and the server has been worse than the last time. I took out not to deal with the awful service. It seems it’s all family since they have these young kids serving who by the look of their faces don’t want to be there. Just makes a customer experience a bad one.

TERRIBLE. Let me start by saying that I’m Colombian and my husband is also Spanish. We ordered two large mondogo soups. The soup started spilling on the way home because they didn’t package it right. Once we got home and tasted the soup we were extremely disappointed. The soup was extremely salty and barely had any mondogo in it. It had lots of peas and carrots and a ton of potatoes instead. We got rice, fried plantain and a tomato on the side. While I can’t comment on anything else, mondogo soup is very easy to make and it’s a staple in Colombian cooking. Any good cook would know what to do, unless the cook has no clue on what Colombian food is all about. This is after all a Colombian restaurant. We won’t be back and will drive to Stamford for Mi Terruno next time.

Waitresses/cashiers only speak Spanish. If you don’t speak Spanish, hopefully another customer can help translate. This was not factored onto the 1-star review. Really wanted to like this place, and it seemed promising from the fullness and demographic of the restaurant. Ordered a few guava pastries… Finished one which was decent but you can tell was not baked fresh that day. The second one my bf bit into it and looked inside the pastry as he was chewing… And saw a glob of blue/white MOLD. He immediately spit out what was in his mouth and we threw out everything. Completely unacceptable to sell old moldy pastries. They are only $ 1.50 each, however try at your own risk.

Every Gringo in town should check this place out. I love the empanadas. Don’t leave without getting plenty of salsa verde. Lovely service always.

This place is definitely worth a stop. We stopped in to check out this gem tucked away towards the back of Main Street, and we were pleasantly surprised. The chicken pasteles were absolutely tasty(ask for the hot sauce), the sausages were cooked to perfection, the plantains were soft and flavorful, the traditional rice was savory, and the guava filled«bear claw» dessert was a great way to cap it all of. I couldn’t pass up having a Colombiana soda to go with it all. The place was bright, cheery, and clean with helpful and very friendly staff to boot. See you again soon!
