The same owners have been running this place for a while now. Theyre always friendly and super nice. The rooms are clean with good sound and mics. You can get some food across the hall if youre hungry late at night. The location may be hard to find but its inside the building where there are numerous restaurants including dr chicken and ozen sushi. Check this place out! Friendly clean and fun

Luxor. Egyptian themed nrb always felt like i was stepping into a part of luxor hotel in vegas. Just like the hotel this place is an OG spot. Ive been coming here since i was a little teenie bopper. Definitely my go to when im in the area. A lot cleaner than some of the other nrbs in this area and good song selections. They even have tagalog and vietnamese to chinese songs. They also have a bigger room in the back for larger parties. Last but not least the owners! They are really caring and the sweetest. Pls come on by if youre in the area.

Would continue to come here more but the owners wanted to take advantage so will not be coming here again. Found it particularly ridiculous to be charged $ 10 extra dollars for being in the room for 15 extra minutes, which we lost track of time(totally happens to the best of us). My favorite part is that I’ve been in noraebangs in South Korea where I know the machines are able keep track of time for you. Just a shame that they would use a slimy tactic to get profit as I really enjoy noraebangs. Oh well, there’s others out there.

I love Luxor karaōke! As soon as you walk in, the owners greet you so nicely. They remember me every time I go, and give us free Korean drinks. They’re always smiling! They have multiple rooms, and their systems are up to date. The facility is clean and spacious. Their prices are lower than their competitors, which is surprising because Luxor is way nicer. They even allow you to bring food in sometimes. I try to take advantage of their happy hour everyday before 7pm. I highly recommend going there!!!

Had a great time with friends here! The room we received was spacious and they let us bring food in with no extra charge. The quality sound of the mics was excellent and the room was well air conditioned. They also offer food here and my friends order noodles, bulgogi and kimchee fried rice which was all super delicious. Will come back again for another karaōke fix!

inside the corner building… not visible from street or parking… park in the plaza and go inside the mini-mall structure… private rooms by the hour… sing your little heart out… rooms are spacious… staff is friendly… korean karaōke, but english, japanese, etc. available… sound system works, but it’s pretty standard… rules are quite lax to party, drink and play in the privacy of your room… rooms are basic with wrap around sofa and large coffee table… service bell for drinks or other requests… luxor is very accommodating…

This is an excellent karaōke place. They allow you to bring in your own alcohol, or you can buy it from them. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Love it.

First time going to a karaōke place and we decided to go to Luxor Music Studio. It’s located inside a plaza, it’s not your fancy karaōke joint but it was decent enough. Plus, you can’t beat the price! $ 25 per hour and if you bring 7+ people, you will only pay $ 20! The rooms are very spacious; you can also adjust the lightning and brightness of the room. The songs are updated; it was surprising when they have the 2013 – 2014 mainstream songs lol. They also offer many foreign songs ranging from Tagalog, Korean, Japanese etc. Love their leather couches too, we got too comfortable and seems like they didn’t mind the whole issue of bringing/sneaking some drinks in. I just wish their big ass remote is also in English because we had a hard time figuring what buttons to press lol. It’s a great place to have fun and just sing on top of your lungs with fun people. If you’re bored with your family and friends, just visit this place and sing all night long, plus it’s very affordable! Will for sure come back here again with everyone, downside is they close pretty early –_–

This place is great. When you walk in, you notice the Egyptian theme throughout the place. You go down a dim lit hallway and are led to your cozy and private room. Their selection of music is a little outdated, and the songs are altered in a way that make them sound super cheesy, there are random Asian clips playing throughout the songs, that are completely irrelevant to what you are singing. For example: While singing Barbie Girl, a video of a man shooting a guy in the back, and a woman melodramatically crying is displayed. Happy hour is from 4 – 7 pm every day.(warning: sometimes they get there a little after four, but allow you to stay after seven and still have happy hour pricing) You may want to ask the person who works there to teach you how to pick songs(since everything is in a different language)

2 of us can kick these songs’ asses like no other for 4 hours straight. This isn’t some fancy-shmancy karaōke place. It’s just a place with simple rooms, to sing. Straight up. If you want something fancy, go elsewhere but this was good middleground for 2 people who just can’t get enough of belting at the top of their lungs. I’ll be the Jasmine to his Aladdin on a song challenge any day. Or I can be a pretty mean Eminem if he’s a lovely Britney.

YES! KARAOKE! It was my first time here. I guess you pay per person, not by room size. For 5 of us we stayed for 1.5 hours and only paid $ 6 each, that’s $ 20/hr. not bad(we went around 12 in the morning). I wish they had a list of more recent songs but for what it’s worth, it’s a fun place to go!

The only place to nrb now in Cerritos since top ten closed. I have come here countless of times. Some of the rooms have the newer machines, which has a nicer user interface and is easier to find songs. They try to keep up as much as they can with the latest songs, but I think that they could do it more often. We almost always bring drinks into the room. I am pretty sure we even brought in party trays of food once hahah. We used to come here during happy hour during our high school days so I have no idea how much that costs now, but we always end up paying about 25 $/hr for the medium rooms.

Karaōke anyone? This place is great price. You can bring your own drinks – nioooooce! Rooms are fairly large. Owners are chill and nice. Only reason why it gets 4⁄5 stars is cause the books aren’t updated. Searching for songs(by manually typing) sucks, and takes a long time… and as all karaōke people know – there is no time to waste when you’re in that room!

I’ve been here a handful of times, and it’s always been fun. The rooms are big enough, the song selections are good, and we always bring drinks in. Technically we sneak them in, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I wish the songbooks were updated because they have newer pop songs, but we couldn’t find them on the list. Altogether we had 7 people, were there for 2 hours, and paid $ 60 on a Friday night. It was less than $ 10/person, which is a pretty good night. Definitely check it out sometime.

I like this place for its convenience. Close to home, inexpensive(especially during happy hour) and a decent song selection. The song selection can definitely be better, but for their cleanliness, location, and price, I’ll still come back… $ 20 for two people on Sunday 5pm-7pm… $ 10/hour for a small room.

This place is hard to find but it is definitely a treat once you get there. Not as fancy as some of the other noraebang you’ll find in Koreatown or Orange County but it comes with a pretty extensive book of English songs. The trick of enjoying Korean noraebang is to learn how to use the remote. Once you figure that out(and it has taken me 5 years to figure this out), you’ll be able to search for English songs by Artist or Title. My boyfriend, his family and I went last weekend and we were able to find Lady Gaga’s «Edge of Glory.» The songbooks themselves might not be that updated but the system is! No alcohol here but some cousins were able to walk to a nearby liquor store and come back with Four Lokos(for real, I thought this stuff was outlawed). I ordered cold, bottled water for our group and service was prompt. Every time I come here, the lady in front is super nice. I love this place because it is affordable, clean, and the workers are friendly and accommodating. The only thing I don’t understand is why I can never score higher than 86(out of 100) despite singing my heart out. I wish someone would create a karaōke machine that judged you on singing and dancing already! For what I lack in singing skills, I’d make up in the dancing!

When I was in high school, I use to go to all the local Korean no-rae-bangs(karaōke) in my area. I thought they were all the same. Then one magical evening, my friend asked me if I wanted to go karaōke and led me down Pioneer Blvd. We went through Little India, past the freeway, and past the lights of Artesia into a little section of town that looked like a ghetto. We turned left and parked in a parking lot that housed a large Mexican restaurant, a phở shop, and a wide, short gray building. Inside the fluorescent lit building stood shops carved into the walls. And at one end, farthest away from where we parked, was a place named«LUXOR»! DECORUM: 4 stars This place has probably got the best theme I’ve seen for their name. The walls are painted and decorated like the bricks of pyramids. They have hieroglyphics and Egyptian art painted on the walls. Talk about dedication. The hallway is wide and has room to either side. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. They are clean and darkly lit, with options to raise or dim the luminescence, as well as play with a disco ball. The rooms come with tambourines and you can ask for more at the front desk. The seats are clean and the rooms are cool to cold. It is a great room. And how about this for flair. Some of the other rooms have a DDR machine in it. It’s dance dance time! SERVICE: 4 stars This place has good service. It’ll be much harder for you to speak with them if you don’t speak Korean, but they are courteous and helpful. They usually won’t bother you if there is nothing you need, so if you need something, go to them. You can smoke in the rooms and they also have drink and food service. I don’t exactly know what the extent of their food service is, but I know you can order beer and soju there for pretty cheap. I like the drinking part because a lot of my friends won’t karaōke without drinks in their system. So this place is a good way to get them to sing. Also, if you do want other food, there is a bar/restaurant in the building near Luxor. MUSIC: 2.5 stars Unfortunately, for all the goodness this place is, the music is not great. Unlike Japanese karaōke places, the music here isn’t authentic to the songs. They’re MIDI style instead, so it’s hard to really get into it like you would with the actual backtracks to your favorite songs. The selection of American songs are also quite limited compared to Korean songs. The obvious demographic for this place is Koreans, but if you enjoy the older English songs and a few of the newer ones, you’ll do fine. There is also a decent collection of Japanese, Spanish, and Filipino(tagalog) songs. The cool thing is you can change the style of any song into disco or techno. You can also speed up or slow down any of the songs and add a clapping audience sound effect. Just make sure you ask the workers how to do that on the controller before you start. CONCLUSION: This small place is a hard find, but like all things difficult, the rewards are greater. If you’re Korean, you’ll enjoy this place with all the special features and standard ones you’ve grown accustomed to from other Korean no-rae-bangs. If you’re not Korean though, you might find this place a little bit less enjoyable. But it’s okay. That’s why there’s alcohol!
