I love this bakery, the cakes are amazing. I have ordered a few cakes and have received compliments on both the décor and taste. The staff is friendly and deliver on a timely manner.

We had to wait an hour for the cake to be completed and just to add insult to injury the image was ridiculously crooked, the writing was terrible and there were misspellings. We just walked out and took the cake to our local Ralph’s to get fixed. So disappointed, I doubt we’ll ever go back:(

Thought I’d try this place out and support local small business. Well worth the visit, their pan dulce is fresh, made just right. I’ll definitely go back for my sweet tooth addiction.

Parking for this bakery is HORRIBLE!!! There is never parking in front of the bakery, so you’re forced to wait in a long 10 minute line from in n out! So annoying. But anyway – I would only come here for a cake that isn’t so important. I came for the first time this week for a tiffany themed cake for my sister’s bridal shower. It was supposed to be a small gift box cake with a ribbon on it. They told me they would be able to do it like the picture, but it looked nothing like it. I said to myself, «it’s just a small gift box, I’m pretty sure it’ll look nice» Nope! The ribbon they used was actual real ribbon. It was all faded because of the frosting. So it looked like a blue cake with just a tiny bow on top of it. I had to fix their mistake when I got home to make it look decent, and everybody thought it looked cute. I guess you get what you pay for. Probably won’t be coming here again.

Everything is good. Spent 30 bucks first time I went here and I didn’t even get a cake. Would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for the fruit flies flying in the cases. Everything still tasted great though, whether it was because of the flies I don’t know. Hehe.

DONTCOMEHERE. I saw all the good reviews so I bought my baby’s bday cake there I was so disappointed there was a layer of cheesecake that was sooooo hard while I was cutting it. I threw away the whole layer of cheesecake because no one wanted to eat it. I tried their«flan» I’m pretty sure it was the one that came in the box to make at home. I tried their 3 leeches and I can’t believe they actually sell that it tasted like it was in a fridge for days DONTCOMEHERE

They made a cake for my nephew’ s first birthday party and it came out awesome! We hadn’t had their cake before but decided on them because they had the best price in that area. So glad we did, the cake was a little bigger than we expected(which was fine), it looked and tasted great. Definitely ordering from them in the future

I was in the mood for some coffee and rather than going to the local coffee franchise I tried this place out. Since I read some of the other Unilocaler’s reviews I knew that the place was going to be small and kept my eyes peeled. Sure enough it’s right next to in-n-out. I parked at the corner parking lot since there was no street parking. The pretty lounge side was closed off and the lady informed me that she only had regular coffee. I ordered one and decided to check out what bread/pan dulce she had available. I was excited to try out the concha(shell) that was made with(what the display read) Splenda. I also grabbed: a mini regular conchita, elote and cupcake. There wasn’t too much to pick from and I’m assuming it’s because of the time of day that I went(noon) so they were probably prepping for later. Quick round up: Reg coffee 2 Splenda chonchas 1 mini conchita 1 elote 1 cupcake total: $ 3.50 :) nice! okay so the Splenda conchas did have a slightly different taste but nothing too extreme. I the only disappointing part was that the bread was dry. This applies to the elote and the mini conchita tasted good but was a tad on the dry side as well. Not like the other breads. The cupcake was the true winner here, this golden little cake was deliciously moist and flavorful. I wish I would have grabbed more. The staff was very kind and chatty. Seems like most of the reviews are about the cakes so I’ll have to try those out and update my review then.

The Tres Leches Cake with Banana was the highlight of our wedding feast. It was moist, without being overly sweet, and had a delicious whipped cream topping– truly a delight and a relief to have such good cake for such a hurried affair! Their employees are kind, helpful, and especially patient. Not many would happily deal with a frantic bride-to-be trying to order a cake the night before her nuptials! It may have only been a civil union, but dammit there should be cake! Our server was even kind enough to provide us a container to keep a slice for our one year anniversary. Definitely worth a drive out from the Valley to experience such deliciousness and such service again. P. S.: The bakery itself smells AMAZING, even if you’re already stuffed to the brim.

«I really like this place!» Yah… That’s what I told the lady who made my Horchata Latte this morning. Cis Bakery & Café is such a cute little place to enjoy your morning latte and pan dulce. Great artwork line the walls, great music plays all around, and the atmosphere, alone, is totally chill. Parking isn’t all that great. You do have to take a chance and park in In-N-Out’s lot sometimes, as the parking right outside the café on Pioneer is packed with customers from the Mexican restaurants next door. My boy was thoroughly impressed with the wall of pan dulce as you enter to the left. The selection of coffees and lattes is quite impressive, as well. The organic Horchata Latte is what draws me in. So yum!!! I was also drawn to the Empanada de Calabaza(pumpkin). That was yum… Not too sweet, and some might enjoy it more if it were warmed. You can pay with plastic here, and there is no minimum charge or extra charge to use your card, so I’m adding extra stars for that! Always a plus in my book!!! Hmmm… what else? Customs cakes can be ordered here, the people who work here are really nice, jewelry is sold here… Cis Bakery & Café… Another great local business worth checking out!!!

Classic Mom-n-Pops café/bakery that’s been around for 20+ years with a massive selection of cookies, breads, and cakes and offering traditional café-fare drinks with a unique Mexican twist. Had the horchata latte and decided on the vanilla cappuccino after asking the lady which was her favorite. The latte was good but the vanilla cappuccino was great! The interior is unexpectedly large with the left side being dedicated to the huge floor-to-ceiling displays of sweets. Pick up a tray and tongs at the counter and have at it. I got about 10 bucks worth of random items. Planned to eat just one there and take the rest home. Ended up eating 3. The right side exudes more of a café feel but with just 2 tables and a couch cleverly surrounded by throwback furniture pieces — my favorites, the white futuristic shelving and 1970’s tv(with the nob-dial) with an illustration of Jesus on the screen. The traditional lamps hanging from the ceiling and the mosaics on the wall between the arches were nice to look at as well. Stayed there for about 2 hours and the place had a pretty constant stream of patrons, including one older gentleman who slow danced toward the cashier with tray of cookies in hand. Lovely. :) Will definitely go again.
