We hadn’t gone to Mangia for a couple of months but we normally get a calzone that is usually delicious. Today, however, we were very disappointed in the calzone. We also found out that they are under new management but we didn’t know when that change came about. Anyways, the calzone was half the size that it used to be, the cheese was crumbly and not like the normal consistency of the mozzarella that they previously used, there were 4 pieces of chicken in the calzone, and the dough was flat like someone didn’t wait for it to rise before using it. I don’t know if it had to do with the person making the calzone but it was bad enough that we probably won’t go back.

The money was never an issue its about principles. There where ants found in the pizza which is not a big deal in and of itself. But I called to make the owner aware. When I called and told an employee I could hear the manager who had overheard my complaint already raising her voice. Again not a big deal but not very fitting of some one In charge. At that point aggravated with the way I was being treated I felt I was inclined to a refund. The manager declined and childishly hung up. As for the ants being dormant this would not apply in a building that is probably kept 60 degrees or above year round but regardless ants were found and this manger did not handle this very professionally. They can keep the $ 27 dollars and lose my business it’s as simple as that.

Terrible service! I live 3 minutes from Mangia, thier delivery service has been getting progressively worse over the past year. Tonight I’ve had it, I just threw away the menu and will never call them again. They told me 35 – 45 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes I called, I could hear the guy in the background say the order hadn’t gone out yet, then I was put on hold and the manager I was speaking with told me that my order went out 10 minutes ago. TOTALLYDISHONEST! After 20 or so minutes I called back and spoke to the same manager, she then informed me that there was a glitch in the system and the order would sligo out in 10 minutes. At this point we were at about 2 hours. I asked if they were going to discount my order, she just continued to blame a glitch in the system. I will never go back. Also, over the past 6 months or so they have screwed up a number of orders, either order mistakes or grossly later than the estimate. I have only ever written one Unilocal review before(positive), you can believe how bad Mangia is for me to bother doing this.

I wanted to thank all of the staff at Mangia for helping out during our fundraiser yesterday! Not only was the pizza delicious but the slush was great. I highly recommend Mangia for its outstanding food and friendly atmosphere. Yum!

We ordered a bunch of food for an after work party and Mangia in Norton delivered, literally and figuratively. Everyone loved the food. There is a great selection of specialty pizzas which are awesome.

Good Pizza but the rest is in the dumpster. First of all the price where do they have the nerve to get these prices from?! Second of all is the staff members. They are so rude and arrogant definitely not pizzeria material. If I am spending this much on pizza give me a little customer service. Thanks.

I used to be obsessed with the Mangia in Brookline. This place left me hungry. I ordered a medium pizza and a side of garlic knots. The garlic knots were raw and uncooked. They were awful. The pizza had potential, but wasn’t what I thought it was going to be.

This place was pretty fantastic. Really clean and new with some Italian music in the background. We had the focaccia fries which we dipped in olive oil, and ordered a couple of pizzas(the margherita pizza and the Hanover Street). The fries had cheese and rosemary and were fantastic. The pizza was incredible on both accounts. The best part was definitely Jon though. He was exceptionally courteous and provided great service. Pretty amazing that there was only one person working, but he seemed to have things well under control. It’s not the cheapest pizza, but it’s definitely of high quality and a really good place to eat.

Thanks so much for catering our business luncheon meeting. Everyone was raving about your delicious pizza, but my favorites were the house made focaccia bread and the pesto pollo wrap — yum! Everything was fresh and savory. The focaccia bread was thick and light with great flavor. The pesto pollo wrap was loaded with fresh healthy ingredients that blended well together. Very satisfying.

I am updating my review because the last THREE times they seem to be understaffed and stressed out, and it is affecting the food AND the service. Something is always inaccurate with the order, and the order takes longer than they said. The worst is that the salad I ordered with chicken the last two times had very gamey, questionable chicken — and I had to throw it out the last time. Their pizza is good, however, if ordering delivery, it is cold 9 times out of 10.

The calzone I ordered was soggy, and appeared to have some kind of greyish slime on the bottom. Surprisingly, it somehow managed to also be burnt, as well as soggy, somehow breaking the laws of the universe. The drink I pulled out from the fridge was a month expired. Everything we saw anyone else there order turned out to be burnt. Food was also overpriced, especially for the quality. Do not go here if you value your taste buds, and your health

They’re lucky that they have decent pizza. awful customer service with no curtsey. No wonder why they shut down for almost two years. If you’re willing to pay the ridiculous amount and wait forever for them to remake your pizza then go for it. If not steer clear.

Terrible. We ordered two large pizzas both were completely burnt on the bottom. We also ordered two salads which were nothing but lettuce and a chopped purple onion. This place is expensive and the quality is horrible. Do not recommend.

Pizza is perfect, great crust, they have so many different varieties. The Antipasto is the best. Quite a large selection on the menu, numerous sandwich choices and great fries. The atmosphere is very clean and appealing. I love going there.

Great place. Authentic pizza. Crust is perfect. Cheese, and toppings are right on the money. I had the bbq chicken pizza. It was cooked perfectly to my instructions … They also have great sandwiches. Love the Rolls. Keep up the good work guys. Five stars out of five.

Ugh. I really wish I was giving this place five stars because their food is so good except that their service is so poor. I have given them so many chances and they always mess up my order. I always come back and tell myself that«it will be different» however tonight was the final straw. One time they gave me an empty pizza box(I had two other pizzas to carry so I didn’t notice the weight). Tonight I was told 30 minutes and I arrived in 25 only to see them just starting to make it, then one of my pizzas is completely wrong(these weren’t huge mistakes just icing on the cake). I really enjoy their food but every single time I order from here there is something wrong – not okay!!!

Had the Parma sandwich, fresh mozzarella just picked Basil and Prosciutto. Menu state $ 8.99, but with drink was only $ 6.00. Discounted items before 3pm. Was so good! New spot with nice décor, very clean. Pizzas look great also.

Received a menu in the mail a few days ago so decided to give it a try. My fiancé and I never tried Mangia when they were opened last but we always go to Kelly’s and thought we would try it since we love pizza. We ordered two pies, pepperoni and margarita and asked for them to be well done. Brought the pies home and opened the boxes, the pepperoni looked like it had been sitting on the counter all day and the margarita wasn’t even cut! Better yet they were both ice cold. They tasted OK. We are loyal Pizza Tyme fans and will continue to give them our business! No wonder Mangia didn’t make it the first time around!

Drove by this place today and decided to give it a try. A lot of the pizzas sounded really good but I went with the Ma’s garden pizza. I loved it. Everything on it tasted fresh. Will definitely be going back to try some of the other pizzas.
