I went here with my husband. The place was pretty much empty. We had to wait 10 min to be seated then a group of girls came in and were sat right away. Another group came in and were sat right away also.(They where Asian) I don’t want to use the racist card but they were pretty racist. Our waiter was just walking around we flagged her down many times for her to say wait, give me a min, or I’ll be back. Seriously I am not eating for free. I’m paying and I deserve a descent experience! They have a 1 hour and 30 min max sitting so I guess she was trying to get us to either leave early or not deliver much food. Mind you in pretty good at weight things just by grabbing each plate did not have at least 1 oz of meat. It was only shreds of meat. I don’t recommend this place if you want good Korean BBQ go to White Castle in Whilshire. I’m saving you the bad experience. I just felt unwanted and like my money had no value here. They are snotty and want to act like they are the best and to good for us. No need for this kind of places…

This restaurant SUCKS. As a long term customer, i came in for lunch and brought an friend who i was having a meeting with and got the 16.99 all u can eat for myself. My friend got tea. Then i was told since i was eating by myself,(never mind the person sitting next to me) that the real price for me was 24.99, because the Owner called and told her that was what to charge me.(Wait what? The price is not whats on the menu, the price is what the owner says it is when he calls in?) So, DONTEVEREATHERE, i went to a nice food restaurant in the same mall and got great service, Phở 99. Also im calling LA County now, since you cant arbitrarily call in and change the price from the POSTEDPRICEINTHEMENU.

Terrible service, unimpressive food We decided to come here because all of the other places nearby had a long wait. After the experience I wished I’d waited for some where else. As soon as I walked in I noticed it was pretty busy so I asked a man in the feont how long the wait was. An older gentleman who was talking to others looked around walked through the dining room and then never came back. I approached him and asked again and he responded«no wait». Right there I thought, «well sorry to bother you.» When we’re seated we got a younger waitress who seemed like a college student. She wasn’t very warm or friendly and was extremely unattentive. We repeatedly had to flag her down to change our grill, fill our drinks, and get more food. Then all of a sudden she was gone. No, «Hey I’m heading out so such and such will take over.» She just dissappear ed after her poor service. An older woman took over and was a bit better but this was the last 10 minutes we were there. The food was less than impressive. There’s more sides and more options for less money at other Korean bbqs. With the bad service and weak food I will not go back. Go somewhere else and just endure the wait. This place is a pass.

I know what to expect with cheap korean bbq. However, it just got worse. There was a VERY foul smell while we were eating(like a sweaty shirt + raw meat smell) and the waitresses are not accommodating at all. Compared to all the korean bbq places, this is the only place that I wouldn’t go back to.

If I could, I would give zero stars. First off, the women in the front counter was very rude and condescending. As she was seating my friends and I, she rolled her eyes because one of my friends was not going to eat. Afterwards we pressed the button for service but had no idea that it should be pressed only once. A few minutes passed and we pressed it again. Moments later the women rushed her way to us and began to shout at everyone at our table. I just couldn’t believe it like wow. She could have been more reasonable, but nope she just screamed at us. As for the food, they do not provide many sides like on most KBBQ places. Their seafood plates are not worth it, considering the amount the size and charger per plate. In fact the women/possible owner began to question us if we could afford it. Overall I will never come back.

I used to love coming here. I enjoy the food so much but dear fucking god the staff is full of assholes. They are condescending as hell and they pull this scam about processing payments. Make sure you check your bank account right after your meal. If you see a payment AND a processing payment, they’ll tell you«3 – 5 business days and they’ll clear the processing payment and it will be refunded.» 3 – 5 days later they charge the amount again and you’re out of 20 bucks. This issue has happened to 5 people I know and we’ve got a lawyer on it.

First and last with all the Korean BBQ options around. Granted, we were hungry and I was tied up working late Went with the lower price option initially thinking it was a lunch menu by mistake since two menus were handed to us. We generally get brisket as a quick and easy, bulgogi, pork, short rib in that order. Since we were already thinking we would be eating less than normally when KBBQing it up tonight we went with the waitresses suggestion being our first time. A little greasy, but that comes with the territory. Had 2 meat servings 2x and a plate of brisket. I love Korean BBQ, and don’t mind spending on good food and service, but ther sides were meh for what’s out there, have to remind service for my steamed egg after bringing the check and asking for water 2x. That sealed the deal. Slow service, granted it being a Friday night between 9−10pm. Fastest part was getting the check, and paying the bill. Still tipped decent and paid $ 7 for my sleeping kid, however, DON’T WORRY Woori, you won’t see me coming here. Other options in the SFV.

Sadly I tried this place without using Unilocal to see the reviews. The customer service here is horrible! I come in with my boyfriend on an empty weekday and there’s no one to greet us or sit us. So we sit ourselves. Then they ask us please sit somewhere else. Okay sure I guess we move. Then there is two of us and they only give us 1 menu. I didn’t say anything because I felt it wasn’t a big deal at the moment but it just shows how much they don’t care for their customers. Service was horrible Food was decent but I wouldn’t recommend spending money here. PASS! The service killed the experience

Yes! the food is A-OK and the service is horrible. Most servers pretend they hardly speak english. When you order the«all you can eat», the first batch was a lot, but when you order for more they don’t ask how much more, they bring you back a «VERYSMALL» amount of meat. If you ask for more, they question you«MORE?» or they ignore you. They don’t like you turning the stove fire on high yourself, If you ask to turn it up, either they ignore you or they smile at you. I guess the faster you cook your food, the more you order more meat. I usually go in Korean Town by Vermont Ave. /Olympic Blvd area for more authentic and much better service.

Service here is very slow. 2x I’ve order steamed eggs with my meal and they never bring it out. They take for ever to bring out more meat and they never refill my drink when my cup is empty I’m always finding myself trying to call one of them to give me a refill. The meat selection is good but their service is bad. They should be checking on your table every now and then especially if it is 1 and half hour limit on all you can eat.

This place has to get one star due to the fact that the employee got out of the restroom after peeing and did not wash her hands she just left the bathroom! The place has good Korean bbq but after seeing the employee doing what she did the place gets 1 star due to her unsanitary behavior. IT’S THELAW!!! Wash your hand even if it wasn’t a law it’s common sense

This place has been the best Korean bbq in the valley. I’ve been coming here for a couples years now and the service has greatly improved. They’re so fast and attentive. Their special all you can eat bbq is amazing. Beef short-plates and marinated beef are my favorites. …Very delicious, resonable prices and good service.

$ 21.99 for not so good Korean BBQ. What I don’t like about this kbbq is that not only is it $ 21.99 but they also charge $ 2 extra for calamari & shrimp. The service was decent but I don’t think I would come here again because the meat quality was not good.

Usually I would give this place 4 stars but not after my experience on Sunday. My first complaint has to do with our waitress. I’m not speaking on all of them. I’m specifically talking about one lady with the messed up one pink color eyeshadow. She never checked up on our table the whole night after taking and bringing our combo order. We had to flag her down to ask/remind her of the things we needed/asked for. My mom ordered noodles at the beginning of our meal and towards the end still hasn’t gotten it. We tracked another waitress(who was super kind) to ask about the noodles. We over heard her asking our waitress(which we understood since we’re Korean) and it turns out the order never went into the kitchen. Our waitress attitude is rude and if she is in the line of serving people then at least try and put a smile on your face. Second complaint is for the owners. You need customers to run your business so be nice to them. An important lesson to learn especially since the famous Gen Bbq is about to open up just a few streets up. Don’t talk shit about your customers and don’t assume someone is not or doesn’t understand Korean and bash on them for a mistake you made. Wish I recorded their face when we spoke back to them in Korean. Also if a customer is up at the register standing right next to you don’t continue ignoring them and talk with your friends. I literally had to go behind the register and grab the owner lady to get her attention to complain about their horrible service. They tried to make it right by offering nasty ass old dessert but sorry the damage has already been done. Wish Jaime was working that night. She’s the only sweetest and the only tip worthy waitress there. Super friendly and fast!

I come to this place a lot and though they always have good meat, the service is so so and they don’t give you too many sides. I find our groups always trying to track down the waitress for rice, sides, more meat, etc. I think I got fish cake 2⁄10 times being there and they almost never have that potato side. Other than that their pork belly is the thicker, better quality kind and they also have a spicy mayo sauce that’s pretty bomb! Their 13.99 special even at night makes this place pretty affordable especially if your coming to grub!
