yummy, but the location is odd. it’s awesome though because you can text your order in and pick it up.

I’ve been looking forward to trying to this place for a while! My bestie surprised me with a bowl at work! Best perk up ever! She brought me a medium açai bowl with bananas, strawberries, flax seed granola(love that touch!) topped with Nutella(which is basically the best drink ever! Lol) LOVED the bowl! It was splendid! The flavors were wonderful together! I’m still struggling for words to describe the açai. It was definitely different than other bowls where they basically make an açai smoothie and pour it in a bowl. This consistency tastes like an açai sorbet. Like an actual frozen açai tub of goodness. The flavor is unique, not over sweet, not milky or creamy, it actually is a bit grainy, like it was ground and blended with the whole fruit. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t super sweet. The toppings make it that much better! Love this place and will totally go back, or finally go in person… I actually love the fact that it’s in a car wash! Great use of business space. Plus, what’s life without a little oddness and whimsy?! Love it! 4⁄5 stars only because I would have liked a bit more açai to fruit ratio. But I read a comment that Daniela from Ubatuba wrote on someone’s review to try the«legal» açai bowl… Idk what that means or refers to, but she wrote that it had more açai. So, I look forward to trying that! Overall, great spot, great eats! Fully recommend! :)

THEBESTACAI I HAVEEVERHAD. I go almost ever Wednesday with my kids. They love it as well. Customer services is great. It does get busy and it sucks that there is only one person there by her but you can see that she is working as fast as she can. I would suggest placing an order via txt so much easier and faster. Ashley you are the best. My kids love to come visit you every Wednesday.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! the fruit is always fresh and the two girls that i have seen on my visits are just awesome. if you have any question about the acai or toppings they are sure to have an answer for you. they are super talkative and friendly. Yeah its inside of the car wash but if you park on the other side where chills is at and just walk to the location its not that bad. The place is smaller then the other locations that i have been too but the people that work there are what make you want to come back here and of course the acai. I’ve read all the other reviews and of people complaining about the wait… well you can text in your order in advice so by the time you do come your bowl is ready for you. Remember they are people too and if you are rude to them while they are taking your order; how do you expected them to feel. They are there to make you this delicious bowl and you are making their lives harder by being rude and impatient. BENICE to others and you will live a much more happy life.

Service is so slow. Tarzana location is way better. They also skimp on their acai serving. Do not recommend this location at all.

Really good bowls, but there’s only one person that works there so if you’re in a hurry and there is quite a few people, expect to wait for a while. I wish they hire more people. Also there is no designated parking except for the car wash. You can try to park in the adjacent parking lot, but you may be asked to move out from there. Good place to snack and wait for your car to be washed.

I’ve been to the ubatuba in Ktown and I really enjoyed my acai bowls there. When I found this location in the valley, I was excited but quickly disappointed. FYI it’s located basically inside the car wash. I guess it does make a good healthy snack while you’re waiting for your car to be washed. So if you’re looking for it, just walk as if you are entering the car wash and you’ll see it. The main thing that bothered me was the acai to fruit ratio — there was definitely not enough acai. My cup was only barely HALF filled with acai and it wasn’t even smooth and creamy tasting, it was very ice-y and had the straight out of the freezer taste. My fruit filled the rest of my cup to the top but I felt like there wasn’t enough acai. I might come back if I’m really desperately craving it but hopefully there are better options for acai in the valley.

Hands down the best acai in town! I recommend the normal acai bowl that includes banana, strawberries, and granola and for the added topping, I add Greek yogurt or vegan carob chips, tastes just like chocolate chips. Refreshing for sure. Parking can suck especially when the car wash is extremely busy but the acai is well worth the hassle.

Not sure if the girl was training the other girl but I stood outside the window for 10 minutes before having my order taken after seeing the girl put her hand up to me to say«one minute» I just think it’s rude. They could have come to the window to take my order and trained at the same time one of the girls is on her phone. Last I checked when customers were around you should put your phone down and work to make people’s orders… I love coming to uba but won’t be back to this location.

It’s great they finally take card but they looked understaffed. It seems there’s one person working, Although she was fast. Other than that, this seems like the only decent authentic place to have Acai like I did when I used to live in Brasil.

I come to Ubatuba at least once a week, I usually order the Ubatuba Acai Bowl, with mango and extra granola. Every time I have had it the fruit is always fresh! The location might not be ideal, being that is shared with the car wash, however I usually after hours and i have no issues at all. I love Ashley! she always helps me and my boyfriend and has learned our order by memory! Thank you for your always awesome service! –Karen

Not really fair … I wanted to try it but couldn’t as I didn’t have cash … Not really something that would lead me to leaving a negative review but I am doing so here because it is listed on here as accepting credit cards … I will totally give it a more accurate review when I go back with cash but I think it should be updated to reflect that it is a cash only establishment

This acai place is in a car wash, that gives you a red flag immediately. Well this place is terrible, I’ve been to many other acai places and they are much better. The other places are more expensive but much better. I WILLNOTBEBACKHERECAUTIONSTAYAWAY!!!

This is my first time eating acai. It was very good and very refreshing! I got mine w granola, pineapple, mango, and strawberries. I also got their beef empanada which was very good and came with this great chimichuri sauce! Out of all the acai places this is the best priced. The only thing about this place is that its in the northridge car wash. It makes it a little inconvenient but other then thay it was great mist try!!! The acai for those who havent tried it like myself is like a sorbet which has the flavors of bananas and strawberries but has this dark purple coloring.

UPDATEDREVIEW: I previously gave the other location 5 stars, but this one is definitely a 3 or below. I’ve been coming to ubatuba for years. The acai is always great and so is the service. But lately as I’ve gone, I’ve noticed I’ve been getting less and less acai, which is ridiculous for how expensive it is. Last time I got a small, the acai filled ¼ of the cup and the fruit the rest. If I wanted a banana and a cut up strawberry, I really could have done it at home. I miss the old Ubatuba.

The acai itself wasn’t smooth, it came out in slushy form and served me bruised bananas. Poor quality and really disappointed.

My girlfriend got diarrhea. The bananas were rotten and acai wasn’t good at all. Not good spot to go to before or after a workout. Don’t go here.

I hate giving uba tuba a bad review and honestly have been biting my tongue for so long because the Tarzana location has always been amazing; however, the staff at this location suck. They’re always really sweet, but they don’t know how to take direction. 99% of the time my order has been messed up(ex. Putting in yogurt when I asked for peanut butter). Anyone who’s been here knows that it’s not a relatively ‘cheap’ place. So to constantly have your order messed up definitely doesn’t leave one satisfied. Just leaving this here so obviously staff can approve. And pro tip: always check your order before you leave the premises.

No no and no. I’ve been trying to avoid this review for months. I’ve put up with this locations mishaps and poorly made bowls for too long. The staff does not know how to take simple direction, and has disregarded my simple requests as a customer. I will not be coming back to this location any more. The only reason I rarely come to this location over the Tarzana one is because it is closer to where I live. Anyone who visits the Tarzana location will realize what a joke this one is afterwards. As I said I’ve tried to avoid this review, but I am done putting up with poor service.

North ridge location 1st the parking sucks, not convenient for customers 2nd the store literally shares its location with a car wash 3rd they tried cheating me by under serving me on the acai when I asked for extra acai and paid for it. 4th lazy employees just joking in around can’t get a simple order right. When I brought my complaint up, the person handling my complaint asked the cashier who took my order what was the issue and she asked him in spainish if I was telling the truth. I look white but I speak Spanish and I’m Mexican so don’t expect the customer service to be honest or the item your eating to be honest as well. 5th you’ve been warned stay away.

A great place to have your taste buds lifted. The best part of this place is the Acai smoothie or Acai bowl. Neither choice will leave you dissatisfied as both have a good amount of bananas, Acai, granola, and your choice of milk. A refreshing taste to enjoy your day. Service is great as Heather will make sure that your needs are met. Parking is a non issue. If your getting your car washed just grab an Acai bowl or smoothie while you wait, or park on Reseda or one of the adjacent streets.

I’ve been to other Ubatuba locations and they’re all amazing. In terms of taste, this location is no different from the rest. The main difference is that there is absolutely no presentation in the bowls. When you see pictures of the bowls with the fruit in a nice arrangement, that is not what you’re gonna get. It’s just a bunch of fruit poured onto the bowl much like you would find in Yogurtland. It’ll satisfy your appetite, but if you’re looking for an instagram-worthy food photo, you’re in for some disappointment. Unless you take a picture of the place smack in the middle of a carwash to show that it’s uniqueness. I drove by this place a couple of times before I realized it’s IN the carwash!

I love açai bowls and this place is great. Although a strange location, it is near a lively university . The bowls themselves are pretty good! Nothing much to say honestly. Get the California style if you like it more like a smoothie than the usual thicker consistency

Yikes! This Abatuba is different from the K town location thats for sure. Thanks to my trusty navigation we found the place. Without navigation i assume it would be super hard. I felt like we were driving up into a car wash or some sort of deserted empty lot. No visible signs of the business anywhere. They did have a floating banner on the front side which didn’t help. Anyway. You order at the window and pick ur order up at the next window. They have the same options as K-town minus the felix so i was stuck with a strawberry bowl brrr… To be honest i got a dirty vibe from this location. I wish they relocated and put an actual business sign where you can enter and order ur acai bowl. Sucks. I was expecting more from this location considering its much closer to where i live. I doubt ill drive down here for my acai fix! Id rather go try the Tarzana location.

Yummm, how come I never tried an Acai bowl? I’m soo glad I did! Move over frozen yogurt you have been replaced. The acai bowl is super good, super healthy and very refreshing. I ordered the small acai bowl with strawberries, bananas, mangoes and condensed milk, it was delicious! I definitely will be back, price was okay a little expensive $ 6.50 for a small but it includes 2 – 3 toppings, not bad but average. I definitely make sure to come here 2 times a month for my acai bowl fix. It’s located in the car wash, I usually park on the side but I believe there is parking in the back, overall good. I will be back! TRYIT! You will thank me. :)

I would have to agree with other people saying you don’t get much acai for what you pay. Either way I still love their Acai bowls and keep coming back when I need a sweet treat! For CSUN students they have have a $ 5 bowl but I noticed it’s a bit smaller than their actual small sized bowl. They now have board games and such so you can relax for a while playing games with your friends. Parking: After 6pm you can park in the car wash since the business is closed for the day! Funny story: My boyfriend and I shared a large bowl but I still wanted more acai. So we decided to order the small scoops of acai they have in a cone to go. When we got to ordering my boyfriend said 2 of the small scoops but I told her to make the order for 3. We pretended we were taking back the scoops to our friends because they wanted some because we were too embarrassed of ordering so much acai. I walked away with one scoop in each hand enjoying it on my way home.

I love this place! I’ve spoken to the owner on the phone but never had the honor of meeting her, however, she was the sweetest and kindest person ever! I always get the acai bowl and it’s to die for! I got a chicken empanada and to be honest it’s not all that, I wouldn’t get it again. But the acai bowls are what keep me coming back!

I absolutely love this place! It’s in the car wash location where if you NEED a car wash, having an acai bowl is just perfect! I usually get the med with coconut shavings. This is the second time I have been there it is so BOMB. I went to hawaii and i forgot to have an Acai bowl so that is my mission. I hope it tops this place because I can only imagine how great it would taste. The bananas, the drips of honey with the granola surrounding the volcanic like acai. My favorite option is with the coconut shavings. I want to go back!

I’ve only been here once, but I’m hooked! I may have time to stop by today actually, hmmm ;) Raúl was working when I went and he was just so awesome! Love it when the customer service is just as great as the product they sell. I was hoping to get work done there, but they actually have an open area and being a rainy day and all I was hoping to settle in some place warmer… and somewhere where they have outlets accessible. I don’t think there were any, from what I saw. Anyway, back to Uba. My Acai bowl was BOMB! It was hooked up with all sorts of delicious toppings. You can get the standard Acai bowl, or alter it like I did. I opted for mango instead of the strawberries, condensed milk drizzle instead of honey drizzle, and added pitaya sorbet and hemp seeds for extra protein :)

Nooommm. I love acai bowls! This one was pretty tastey! My friend and I shared a large and it was perf! It’s in kind of a weird location but at night the patio and the lights make it look super hipster and cute! I wish I worked closer, I’d be here everyday during break time lol!
