I tried the Muhammara, which is a red pepper paste, usually made with walnuts and spices. The one I tried here was overly spicy with flavors, so it was not the best Muhammara I’ve had. I tried their Chicken Taouk Panini. I liked the fact they had this option and it was pretty good. Fries were good as well. They don’t have much for kids who are picky — so just an FYI. I would come back. They have a nice outdoor patio, light middle eastern music being played and good service. And, they are clean!

Had lunch there today. We had a great meal consisting of hummus, red pepper dip, eggplant dip, chicken, beef and pilaf. Everything was fantastic! Beef and chicken were very tender and delicious and the red pepper dip was to die for. Definitely will go back.

12 of us had lunch here today to celebrate my son’s college graduation. I had preordered cold appetizers including tabouli, hummos, eggplant dip, and red pepper dip. Everything was set up for us just before we walked in. It was all excellent, fresh and delicious. We then had chicken and beef kabab, pilaf, and salad. Chicken was moist and delicious. The beef was also tender and delicious. Michele, the owner, was helpful and charming. Our waiter was also wonderful. We had a great experience and intend to go back soon.

Our friends took us there last weekend… Wow! The best chikufte by far! Everything was so delicious and fresh. From the fish, hummus to their chicken kebab. Great place to get home made Armenian food.

I’m not one for writing reviews, in fact, I think this may be my very first one! This place has the absolute BEST Armenian salad I’ve ever had! I get it every single time, actually it’s the only reason I come in, is for this salad! The restaurant’s atmosphere is really nice inside and they have music in the evenings during the weekend. The gentleman that greets me every time I come in is VERY pleasant. I love this place! I always order the chicken kabob and rice with a side of hummus. Most delicious! You won’t be sorry you tried this gem in Porter Ranch!

Love this restaurant and the outside seating. I have been here numerous times, sometimes alone and other times on a date. Great food, drinks, and service.

I had first gone here several years ago. The food wasn’t good. I went recently based on a friend’s advice. OWNERSHIPHASCHANGED&THEFOODISABSOLUTELYREMARKABLE. Flavorful doesn’t even begin to describe the food. Wow! I’m so coming back for more. Their kabob meat is so scrumptious — ITMELTSINYOURMOUTH. YUMMM!!!

This place is solid. They have great food and great service. I stop by Mediterranean Bistro whenever I am in the area. I have tried a lot of things on the menu and everything is amazing!

This small restaurant located in our neighboring plaza, Porter Ranch Town Center, is an Armenian restaurant. Called it «Mediterranean» would be a little misleading. However, hard to argue with that: Lebanese is at the shore of Mediterranean Sea. Restaurant’s setting is simple but decent. Service is quick and cordial. Foods are fine, some are salty. Our orders are: Falafel(salty and hard, $ 7), combination of Shish Kebab & Taouk(an interesting beef and chicken dish in Armenian style, $ 16), Baklava as desert(very sweet but good, $ 4) and Armenian Coffee(different from the regular American coffee, $ 3).

Thank you Unilocal for helping me find this place! All the items we ordered came promptly and it was all delicious! The food was fresh and cooked to perfection – no need to add any additional seasonings. Go hungry and you will leave with a happy stomach. There are similar places that charge more and the food is inferior to here. The owner, Michel, is super friendly and it’s obvious he has instilled the same attitude in his staff! We will back! Thanks, Michel!

The food was good, but upon delivery of our complimentary pita bread a cockroach crawled out of the basket. I understand that there will be critters in the kitchen from time to time, but if the food was properly checked before being served they would have caught the cockroach before the bread was served. The dining area was very small and cramped. They had a slim selection of drinks. Enough of the negativity, I do want to reiterate that the food itself was very good. If the experience was based on food alone I would give a 4 or 5 star review.

Service is impeccable. My visit was on a cold Monday night. I was at Walmart with a friend and we decided to grab a bite to eat, something different. I’m not sure exactly what we ordered but it was their«most popular» beef and chicken dish served Armenian style. It was impeccable. I will definitely be back to visit, keep up the good work guys!

Friendly but slow service. Ambiance is casual with a touch of elegance. I had a chicken kebab sandwich which was pretty good. Fries were well seasoned. If service was a little quicker(It wasn’t very busy and I was waiting about 10 minutes after finishing my food to get my check) I probably would have rated this place a little higher. I don’t mind coming back as I liked to food and it’s close to home.

Stopped here for lunch and I would come back again just based on the service! They had delightful personalities and did their job very well. I was in a rush and they accommodated me big time! Add that to an amazing meal! The Steak Shish Kabobs were delicious. Very tender and well flavored. Great rice pilaf and salad that had a yummy dressing. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area. Take the time I didn’t have to enjoy it though :).

So very pleasantly surprised! Excellent service, solid food, large portions of salads and kebabs. The falafel was perfectly cooked and the meat dishes were tender and juicy. Spices hit that fine point of not overwhelming, and not at all bland. One thing I appreciated was the Greek salad included a ton of feta cheese, rather than just the little sprinkling that most places put on it. Fairly authentic flavor too, coming from a fellow Armenian. We also got a complimentary yogurt/honey dessert, and the ambiance was comfortable and fairly classy. Like I mentioned, the flavor and spices are solid, but not necessarily blow-you-out of this world. Additionally, the salads don’t come with a meat or falafel topping(at least not for dinner); you have to then order them as a side. All and all though, definitely returning next time I’m in the area.

Yumm! I always cringe when thinking of places to eat this far west in the valley but my grandma loves to take me and my son out when we visit her, so we do things the old fashion way and look through her little menu collection at the house :) This is her version of Unilocal :) and boy is it handy. She had a Mediterranean Bistro menu tucked away and I decided this would be a good place to grab dinner. We drove down the hill and dropped in around 5P, no rezzies required to a very casual restaurant. I realized we had been here with her before, many moons ago(which was a great indication that this place is still afloat after several years). I had a Lebanese beer and we all ordered the Shish Taouk Plate(Chicken Kebab — Grilled marinated chicken breast. Served with rice pilaf, garlic sauce and house salad). I asked to swap my house salad out for a small Greek salad after seeing it on the menu. I think it was a few bucks more and totally worth it, as the Greek salad was sooooo good! We ordered a side of hummus, which was very nicely done with pita on the side. The pita was a little hard in spots, perhaps toasted a bit? When our dinner plates arrived, I was a little surprised with how much rice was on the plate. I certainly have no business eating that many carbs and thought for sure half of this plate would be coming home with me but it was so tasty, that idea didn’t last long. My son raved about the rice! It was quite delish, I intentionally did not finish mine but there wasn’t much left on the plate. They were out of their homemade Baklava, which broke my heart just a little bit because it is the one thing I do recall from dining here before. It really is good! We tried a different dessert, the Ashta assal which we didn’t care for much. I LOVE honey and pistachios but would have preferred every bite be covered in them, after the outside layer was gone I felt what we left lacked flavor and had an interesting texture. Service was friendly and accommodating. My grandma is in a wheelchair and we had zero issues dining comfortably here. I’m not real familiar with many of the options in this area, but I’d definitely suggest Mediterranean Bistro over the other chain restaurants in Porter Ranch Town Center(Fridays, Islands, Souplantation — pass pass and pass!). Do yourself a favor and enjoy this little gem. Like I previously mentioned, it’s super casual and from what I see they do lunch as well.
